-Breakfast was excellent, well stocked, nice coffee machine -Prompt room service -Pleasant staff -Nice spacious room with couch, desk, chair -Nice decor, very comfortable.

-Our heated towel rack was not working, not a big deal, but all amenities should be checked and operational. Would have been helpful when washing some clothes. -Water ran cold after one shower, so we reserved it by spacing out our showers. -Sink was a very large and shallow, it took up the top surface, a shelf would be helpful. - Another towel rack or hanger would be helpful, there was space for it.

We loved our spacious room and its view over the Old Town Square. Breakfast was good, a great choice and a great coffee machine. Staff were all very pleasant.

We wish we’d known that we had to give several weeks’ notice to have one of the hotel’s free parking spaces. We knew in advance that we would have to park in a car park away from the hotel. It was a 6 minute walk and not a problem, but parking was very expensive. From 1st May the charge is 1.5 euros per hour. That sounds reasonable if you’re only there a short while but we paid 47 euros to take the car out when we left because we hadn’t used the car the previous day.

The location can’t be better. Close to restaurants and sites.

The property was in a fantastic location. Right near the square with tons of shopping and restaurants right around. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. It was clean and modern. Some may worry that being in the square would mean late night music or sleep disruptions - we did not find that to be true. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Split.

The only minor complaint is that the air conditioner was located next to the entry door rather than near the bed. But the room was never uncomfortably hot, just

Location was amazing being situated off a busy square with bars and a cafe right on the doorstep. Despite the busy area, the noise didn’t transfer up into the room at all. The room itself had loads of character with exposed brick work complimented by contemporary features. This is a small hotel so we only met two members of staff and both were lovely.

The room was a little dark being on the side of the building but understandable given its location. And we didn’t come away to spend loads of time in the room! Breakfast was limited by the amount of space available in the dining room, but what was there was a good quality. Air con unit in the room was a little old and noisy. Really stretching for negatives though.

The staff was friendly, there was an elevator so I didn't have to carry my luggage up to the top floor and the breakfast was decent. The room was nice looking with quality furnishings, a nice wood floor, and a comfy bed. I did feel like I was stuck in someone's attic.

I was less than thrilled with the air conditioning. It blew out air that only felt cool when I came inside after walking all over town, but even then, I had to stand directly below it. It would have been fine had I not been there mid July. They need to paint over the huge stain on the wall. It looked like a wine bottle exploded there.

Right in the heart of the Split old town (few minutes from Diocletian's palace), this hotel will cater to your every wish - Featuring high-quality rooms and clean facilities. Staff was brilliant, very friendly and forthcoming (granted us a room upgrade, extra towels and individual breakfast). All important sights, the port (ferries) and many restaurants/bars in walking distance.

There is not really anything we disliked, except that we wished we could have stayed longer :) Make the most of the "pomalo" lifestyle...

Very aesthetic rooms and property, in the heart of town so easy to walk everywhere, value for money, staff were friendly and inviting, before arriving their communication was so good best I’ve experienced with hotels and they were able to let us check in without an additional charge. There’s a lovely book in the rooms which gives us so much information and they were able to help us with taxis and anything we needed.

Not as easy to get easy transport e.g taxis to and from property. Breakfast is limited if that’s a big requirement for anyone, for us it was enough. Toiletries is only really soap and toilet paper so just incase for people staying it’s worth bringing your own toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner etc.

Excellent location, fab staff, especially Margarita. Comfy room. Water welcome.

Breakfast is quite poor. Lighting for makeup in bathroom rather poor. Frying oil smell from both windows on the side of the roof, even in my top floor suite, so sofa area not cosy or usable. Front window in bed area is openable, and there was no fried oil smell from restaurants below in there, but facing the major square quite noisy if left opened.

In shoulder season it was nice not to have so many people at the hotel complex as would be in high season. It was great to be away from the Old Town Dubrovnik scene and just a convenient bus ride or a downhill hike away. As older, vigorous adults, we appreciated the options. We had lovely breakfasts, and dinners there and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We only wish we had stayed a little longer as it was so relaxing.

We should have booked ourselves sea view rooms, but that was our mistake. If you go, spring for the view! The hotel was superlative.
