I consider myself quite a fussy person. However i was quite surprised how nice Lysithea was. Very clean, cleaners were always working hard to a good standard. Every morning staff on grounds cleaning pools etc.. Nice thick towels and Beach towels were supplied so that was a bonus. Fridge in the room/kettle/TV and AC Bed and pillows firm but comfortable. Bathrooms are quite small may be an issue for a taller person sitting on the toilet I think knees would hit shower screen..Toilet paper was also supplied! Some of the rooms are interconnecting, so if the doors are not locked and shut you can hear next door activity, luckily I had generally quiet neighbours for 10 days. I was a solo traveller, and I felt very safe. It was my first time in this area. Breakfast was available between 8-10am also a small shop next door shop was a bit overpriced. I would recommend getting a car 20 mins into larnaca town centre Finikoudes, 25 mins to ayia napa - Zorba Bakery 8 mins drive/ lidl 6 min drive, also 20 mins from Larnaca Airport. There are also Cafe Nero/KFC/Ocean Basket/ PaPa Johns and amazing Cypriot restaurant called Vlachos Tavern 5 mins drive up the road. Lovely quiet beach right across the road (€2.50 for sunbed), top floor facing beach has Seaview, if you get the lift upto the roof you can see the sunset. Yes there are a few cats and maybe a few ants here and there but honestly not an issue in my opinion. Overall I had a great stay, I would definitely recommend Lysithea, and I will definitely be back. Interconnecting doors need to be locked if the door is not needed just to prevent noise from next door. Also the curtains do not block out sunrise so be prepared to be up early if you like to sleep in dark. These are not deal breakers for me, possible minor adjustments. :)

Good, quiet, modern hotel, although it was unmanned (but responsive on booking.com messenger) when I stayed there (March/April, so out of season)! Room (223) was large, with a pool view, comfortable bed, good balcony & all things you would require (kettle, TV, hair drier, AC, fridge, although no iron that I could see). Room had mixture of mainly UK &, and some European plugs. Bathroom was slightly small, but the walk in shower was probably one of the best iv ever had, with water temp & pressure being incredible! There's no restaurant in the hotel (not sure if that changes on season), but the pool is clean & good to cool off in. There's also a kids pool, but couldn't find the showers! Lots of friendly, if not timid cats around. There's also a friendly shop next door that's open during the day (not sure if that changes on season), that sells all kinds of confectionery, pastries & alcohol. There's also a barbers too. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes about 20 minutes to get into Larnaca. Use the PAME APP to get bus times! Beach is just across the road less than 5 minutes away! The water is quite shallow (between knee/waste height).?There's also an outdoors fitness jungle gym/centre (free) & a bar/restaurant with sun loungers! Otherwise there's a great selection of restaurants that serve decent food about a 10/15 minute walk away! I personally recommend taverna Daniel, if not just to meet Endi who works there! But in all honesty, all 3 restaurants in that vicinity are worth going to! Only negative was the WIFI, which was horrendously slow & almost unusable! Got better towards the end of my stay, which is apparently common in Cyprus, with the internet slowing down from the middle to the end of the month! Would definitely go back.

It was a delight to wake up and drink my coffee on the balcony. The room is nice and clean, but the bathroom is a bit small, when sitting on the toilet we hit the glass shower wall with our heads as it's a bit too close :) and I am not a tall person. We visited Cyprus beggining of April and the weather was perfect for walking and visiting and even spent some time tanning by the pool, too windy to stay at the beach, that is just across the road. For someone coming from a colder country it was all I needed to fill my vit D reserveres :) Also, the bus station is just in front of the hotel, if you are interested in visiting the island, the busses that pass by can take you to Larnaca and Agia Napa, and from Larnaca Marina Bus Station you can get other regio busses to visit other towns.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lysithea Hotel, and I must say, everything was absolutely perfect! The accommodations were fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I did encounter some misinformation regarding transportation from Larnaca Airport (LCA) to the hotel. The receptionist advised us that we would need to take a taxi costing around €50 or walk for 3 hours. In reality, we took the public transportation bus number 425 for just €2.50, which was not only budget-friendly but also convenient. I wish this option had been communicated more clearly, as it would have saved us time and money. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I highly recommend the hotel!

Location, stuff and pool.

The location is not in centar of Larnaca, you will need a bus which takes you there in 15/20 min for 2.5 EUR. Buy a plastic bus ticket ideally at the airport for a longer stay.

Property was lovely good size room, all rooms overlook the pool with a good size balcony. They provided towels to use at the pool and the room was cleaned daily and had an air conditioner. Very rare to find a double bed and it was very comfortable. The beach was across the road but I’m a pool person so can’t comment but many of the guests did use the beach. As you come out of the hotel if you turn left there is a little shop that sells essential items which was great as I was able to have coffee in the morning as there was a small fridge and kettle, the lady there even lent me a bottle opener for my cocktails. If you turn right and walk about 10-15 minutes you will find a good selection of restaurants and further shops.

Nothing as long as you are happy for a peaceful relaxing stay you will be in the right place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lysithea Hotel. The pool was definitely one of the highlights – being able to swim at night was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The whole place has a charming 90s vibe that gives it a nostalgic and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were nice and clean, and the balcony had an absolutely amazing view of both the sea and the pool – it was a perfect spot to relax. Still, the location is great – very quiet and pleasant, perfect for a peaceful getaway.

One small issue we had was that there were ants in the room on the first day, but the staff responded quickly and sprayed, and we didn’t have any problems after that. There’s no reception, and the lobby area isn’t air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable if you need to wait there

The hotel is calm and well distanced managed by the host. Always responsive to the questions and chat. The self check in is a must, and super easy after given the access (exactly on the day of entrance). The facilities particularly the pool is awesome, with proper toilet and super good showers downstairs (so you avoid the entrance in your room). The room itself was clean and tidy with room service everyday (if you want it). The balcony a super must! I’d really like to spend my morning and evening having brunch or reading a book in there

Only con. it’s the walking distance to the center, but with the public transportation bus coming every half an hour it’s all fine but. And the connected rooms when you are not in a group, so you listen to the conversation/noise made by the other guests next door.

The property was excellent value for money,very clean. Fresh towels and supply of toilet paper every day. Linen change middle of week. Only little negative for us was the lifts were out of order last 2 days. Carrying cases down from 3rd floor was hard work. A good few restaurants nearby,walkable if able. Bus stops outside to take you to Larnaca, Nicci Beach, protarus and Paralimni.. Nice hotels across the front as Beach was opposite. All in all, had a great stay as we were near family living nearby. Would return. Recommend Daniel's restaurant and Regatta Beach bar.

The room is big enough and clean. The condition is very good. Air condition was working properly. The area outside is big and clean.

I enter the room at 16:30 and noticed that the top bed sheet was missing. I called the number provided from booking BUT the number is wrong. So, you provided a wrong number number. Anyway, I contacted the property from booking chat and told me that maids are NOT working the night and issue will resolved the next day. So, they left me without a top sheet bed for the night, something that was very unpleasant, specially when I had the AC ON. As a result, I DIDN'T enjoy the night. So, If you choose this apartment, be ready that IF there is any issue, this will be resolved the next day.
