Really nice accommodation - provably our fav in Cyprus due to the peaceful location and couryard and great breakfasts. Room is basic but comfortable, with ground coffee and a cafetiere provided which was a nice suprise. Courtyard is a lovely place to sit outside with a coffee in the morning or afternoon sun, and fairy lights in the evening. Breakfast was homemade in the cafe across the road, served with fresh coffee or tea. The village it is situated in is gorgeous but tiny. There are I think 2 restaurants in the village but they looked closed (or empty) when we were there, however some other very nice restaurants within 10min drive. Great location between mountains and sea. Lovely and helpful host. Felt very peaceful. Only down side is the bathroom is a bit of a wet room due to no shower curtain, but that's really not a big issue :) also to drive in you have to drive through some narrow roads! But worth it :)

It was in a very quiet village, away from everything and everyone, which is what we preferred. Our only neighbors were the cats! Antonis was such a kind and generous host, and breakfast was lovely. We had a great time in Maroni and will definitely return. The room was very clean, yet rustic and authentic. Oh, and the shower was hot and the wifi worked great.

It is rustic, and if you enjoy fancy, resort-style accommodation, this is not for you. It's simple and really beautiful, the stone walls made me feel like I was living in a castle.

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely exceptional. Located in the charming village of Maroni, it offers an authentic local experience, far from the usual tourist crowds. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, where the only sounds you hear are birds singing. While it is a bit further from major hubs, it is worth every cent. The peace, beauty, and atmosphere make it a truly special place. The host is outstanding—warm, welcoming, and attentive. And the breakfast? Simply delicious! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway.

Antonio is a really nice person and serves every day a fresh delicious breakfast (eggs cooked in different styles, bacon/sausages, cucumber, tomatoes, fruits, bread, butter, jams, coffee and tea) in the nice courtyard of the teacher's house. The village is really lovely and has a great taverna too (Piazza Maroni). It is very conveniently located to visit the main archeological sites, cities and beaches of the island.

I would improve a little bit the cleaning service (the room and the bathroom have never been cleaned during our 3 nights stay). There was no courtain in the shower and the bath had a small window covered by a black little towel for the privacy.

The area was great for us, I do think if you get a noise punch of people it may be disruptive as you can hear people talking while sitting outside as every room is close together. we had a great time and enjoyed our stay and would stay again at the beginning of the summer season.

The shower hose was very powerful which was great but needs a shower curtain as all the shower room got very wet and became dangerous to walk in, needs more careful cleaning as many cobwebs around which never really bothered us but may someone else.

Antonio was very kind and always with a smile We loved our stay..Good breakfast,clean rooms ,good A/C,comfy bed very good water pressure in the shower ,Antonio was super helpful & very responsive and gave us a lovely room !.All in all a great stay...We hope to return in the future..I highly recommend the local restaurant in Maroni ,Piazza Maroni great food with big portions what we could'nt finish we gave to the local cats & dogs...🙂 I would also recommend the Retro tavern in Kalavasos Village they serve very nice food too... Our 1st room had a wonderful Courtyard the room was nice but the AC blew on us all night we couldn't get the swing on the air-conditioning to blow upwards my husband's gets sick easy from the ac blowing right on him... Antonis gave us another room the next day which was very nice..He was very accommodating....Plus very easy to talk too.

The village is quiet and very peaceful. The place is authentic with comfortable stone houses with kitchen and free parking. Extremely kind and responsive host. Very easy communication. And every day a different, homemade breakfast, served in a colorful and very cute, "old" cafe, in front. Thank you very much for the welcome. Hope to see you again :)

We liked everything.

A lovely village, felt the real authenticity. A really quiet and calm place with many cats outside which were friendly. I would recommend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet and enjoys authentic places. Breakfast was simple but really good with the surrounding environment.

Cleanliness would be something I would improve, but everyone perhaps has their own understanding towards that, which isn't a bad thing.

The communication with Antonio was simple & great! He helped me with everything I needed, included late Check Out free of charge. The room was clean and big enough for 2 persons, the bed was comfortable, Free parking nearby, great A/C, good breakfast, fair price. The village is nice and the place is quiet. In total - Great Experience! Thanks for everything dear Antonio

The personal breakfast and service was exceptional. Very friendly atmosphere where you will meet other fellow travelers wonderful restaurant in the village of Maroni

Furniture a little dated. The village needs to have the coffee shop open longer.. (4pm onwards for 3 days a week) not much around to do.
