Location: The hotel’s location is ideal, situated in the heart of the island. It’s conveniently positioned about 30 minutes from both Larnaka and Limassol, and 40 minutes from Nicosia and Ayia Napa. Additionally, the beach is just a 6-minute drive away. We particularly enjoyed Zigi Beach, which is close by, uncrowded, clean, and well-facilitated. The tranquility and serene atmosphere made for a truly relaxing experience. Hospitality: The hotel is run by a warm and attentive family who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Their genuine hospitality was one of the highlights of our visit. Breakfast: The breakfast was delicious and well-presented. Although the menu was the same each day, the quality of the food made it enjoyable. Transport: It’s important to note that a car is necessary to reach the hotel, as there is no public transportation available. Don’t be deterred by the narrow village streets; they add to the charm of the location. Overall Experience: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to returning. This place is a true gem, and we highly recommend it to others seeking a peaceful and well-situated retreat.

We had the apartment like room with its own entrance and two balconies. Very roomy and comfortable. Shower over the bath was very powerful and plenty of hot water. Great pool where we ate breakfast beside every day. Breakfast was so huge and delicious! We could not manage it so instead we had a beautiful plain omelette each day, with veg. Situated in a pretty quiet village. Just six minutes to Zygi beach cove. A couple of restaurants, small shop and lovely village feel. Hosts delightful and very welcoming. Nice to use a local hotel rather than a huge chain.

Furniture a bit tired.

Breakfast was very good and staff nice and friendly. Very clean in all areas. Bedroom very big with good bathroom. Good size bed (but hard mattress). Enjoyed the swimming pool which was very clean and warm. Though I didn't drive, there is a good size car park available to park right next to the property.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed. A little to hard and uncomfortable mattress for me. Pillows were very thin. Prefer softer mattress and bigger pillows. So the bed wasn't much comfort for the head or the back.

The room we stayed in was very nice, the hosts were very friendly and always willing to help and the location is extremely nice, in a quiet and peaceful little village without anything to disturb our sleep.

The breakfast was in the form of a composed plate, which was fairly rich but got a little monotonous after a couple of days. The hosts clearly said that we could make some modifications if we wanted, but still this isn't as good as a buffet breakfast. Also, the whirlpool was not as good as it looked, so I wouldn't choose the room based on that. This was, however, a very large and comfortable room, so it was still very much good value for money.

Very nice historic building, friendly owner, fantastic breakfast. Breakfast is no buffet but includes everything you need and more than you can eat. Everything was really tasty. Parking is free and just beside the house.

Pool ist not heated and was too cold to use. Some smaller repairs in the rooms needed (missing door handle from the inside (broken), so in case of an emergency you need to open the door with the key; parts of the kitchen fronts did not look good anymore), but everything is really clean.

We liked the intimate atmosphere of the place which is very boutique. Breakfast was always very fulfilling and tasty and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. The pool was lovely and the room was great.

At one point there was a family with a loud child staying in the hotel which woke us up in the mornings but they left after a few days and we were told that usually this place is not booked by families with children. So We were just a bit unlucky for a few days. It is definitely an adults only place for most of the time.

We had a lovely stay at Esperando, the owners were very attentive and the breakfasts superb. Nice old building, room was a decent size and the Jacuzzi bath very relaxing. Not quite warm enough to use the pool, but still lovely to sit out the back with a drink. The village itself is charming and has a brilliant Old Coffee Shop (serving wine and a cheese/meat board in the evenings) - well worth making your stay coincide with their opening days Fri/Sat. There is a restaurant in the village but we didn't try this. The owners seem to be working around the place making improvements, which is great, but the bathroom did seem to easily flood a couple of times so a small drain may be useful to install if possible, or checking the bath sealant.

We were looking for a quiet, rustic place away from the busy towns and cities. We settled on Esperando as it was just 25 minutes from the venue where a family wedding was being held. Esperando has 7(?) rooms, we stayed in 3 of them during our visit - we accepted an offer to move initially as a family needed the 3 bedded room we’d been allocated and then we moved again to a lovely room at the front of the premises. In all rooms the air-conditioning worked well. The third room had a normal size bath, unlike the first two rooms which had larger baths. All three were spa-baths and would have been luxurious in their day. The shower worked well over the bath in our third room. The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful. They provided a large and hearty breakfast every morning that we eventually tuned to just the ingredients and a size that we could eat. Cypriots like to feed their guests ! There is an outdoor pool with 6 loungers under parasols and some tables and chairs for alfresco breakfast. Each room had a balcony - our third room had two - one at the front and another at the back for afternoon and evening sunshine. All rooms were spacious and very clean. There’s plenty of parking at the side of the premises - you will need a car to stay here.

The shower head was too heavy for the wall mount and fell down a couple of times.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful! The room was clean, spacious, the furniture in a very good condition, the balcony big and comfy.The bed led lights were cool and a nice touch. Towers were provided, and shampoos. The breakfast was big and it was including almost everything except from cereal and fruits. If you needed something else for breakfast could always tell your preferences to the host. It would be a nice touch to have music playing on the background while you eat. The village is small but graphic, very quiet and not that cold during December. You had the access to the local stores for basic supplies. The check in and check out were easy, you only have to call the owner before you get there. The jacuzzi wasn't that hard to manage on your own. It was sooo relaxing and just what i needed.

Be careful because the road gets narrow once you get closer to the facility. It impressed me how the front doors are always open, day and night. Although, nothing happened. The church is very close so you can hear the church bells. The pillows were not that comfortable for me but that is a personal matter. Nothing else 🙂

Location is outstanding, peaceful small village. Breakfast is delicious with a large portion, vegetarian option is also available, although after a week it starts to be monotonous. Hosts are super nice, very friendly atmosphere. Rooms are heated during winter, it's warm and comfortable. Parking lot is available next to the building.

No smart TV. But there is a great Internet connection :)
