The location was good by the main street full of bars, restaurants and tourist shops. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel with a direct connection to Aiya Napa and a shuttle bus to Larnaca airport. Nearest grocery store is a few minutes walk. The beach is about 10 minute walk. Our windows were facing the pool/sea so street noise was not an issue. There was music all day until late, but it did not bother us. The room was quite small, barely room to open a suitcase. The bathroom and balcony were also very small. The room was decorated in a stylish modern way and so were the the lobby and pool areas, but the hotel isn't new and it is visible here and there. The air-conditioner was noisy and had a mind of it's own, the controls on the wall did nothing for it. Luckily it mostly tried to make the room cool (visiting in July). The breakfast was the same every day, but there was a good selection of options. The pool area was lovely, just full of people and very busy. The bigger pool was constantly full of kids playing with balls and floaties, the bar pool was full of soaking grownups. Better reserve your chair very early in the morning, there is not enough for everyone. The bar was busy, but food and drinks were very good and service friendly. The beach was also full from early morning, two chairs and umbrella cost 7,5 euros. The beach was beautiful and the water was very clear and the best part of Protaras.

The hotel met my expectations.

My friend and I booked this hotel as it fitted within our budget and honestly didn’t expect much booking this hotel, but were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nice and clean. Beds were made, towels changed and rooms cleaned daily. Excellent location at the top of the strip and a 5 minute walk to the beach. I personally had no issue with noise although I asked for a poolside room and I sleep with brown noise. The breakfast was excellent, and food portions at lunch/dinner were enormous so we never went hungry! Staff were absolutely amazing, welcoming, friendly and up for a laugh! The pool was lovely and the perfect temperature, and the area around the poolside was beautiful to sit in, with good music. 100% recommend this place and would definitely come again.

The location is excellent! Right in the heart of Protaras. Rooms were clean and in good condition. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and always with a smile. And there is a Mikel coffee shop in the hotel which was perfect.

Tiny bathroom. Also the first room they gave us was the one for the invalids (plenty of room though and bigger bathroom) but it was on the side of the pubs and until 2 in the morning there is very loud music and impossible to sleep due to no sound proof. The staff was very helpful and changed our room during midnight.

Loved the swimming pool. There were plenty of comfortable loungers. Adults' swim up bar was an added bonus. There were plenty of choices for breakfast. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We were given a room with 3 beds, which was cramped. The staff moved us to a room with 2 beds and a table with 2 chairs. Much more suitable for a couple

It's right in the heart of Protaras. The music from the bars is very loud and does not stop until 1 am. There was a persistent smell of urine from the toilet even after cleaning.

This facility offered everything I wanted from an accommodation. Central location next to main bus routes, spotless clean, big room &bathroom. The breakfast offered the most wide selection of food from eggs, beans, bacon to a variety of cheese, olives and fried nibbles to a variety of fruit and jams to a variety of cereals. In addition to the usual hot drinks and cold juices, they had a dispenser of hot milk. Friendly, professional and always smiling staff at the reception. Special services offered were pool towels rent, an iron &iron board at the floor for clients use and a late check out for 25euro. Ah, also: SILENT AC BUTTON OPTION!!

The only improvement I would suggest is to train a little more the less expert staff members at breakfast who in different occasions kept gravitating around me waiting to take my plate/cup as soon as I ate my last bite or took my last sip making me feel a little uncomfortable. But it happened just a couple of times and only with some staff members.

Everything, the service was immaculate Mr Nicko's is a legend, everyone was so polite and friendly, breakfast was lovely, abundant in variety as well as quantity and most importantly quality. The whole hotel was spotless with a pleasant aroma in the spacious reception area, the rooms were just right, everything we needed was included, the bed was so comfy but the pillow was a dream (i am fussy mind you). I couldn't praise this hotel enough. And Will gladly visit again.

Some of the people staying in the hotel hogged the jacuzzi, and would get rather rowdy, typical English behaviour. But that is not the fault of the hotel.

Wow, what can I say. I've been on the island for 2 years and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. Even 5 and 4 star hotels I've used don't match up to this. Why it's only a 3 star, I will never know. Amazing pool area to suit everyone, especially the pool side bar and chill out area. Sunbeds are one of the most comfortable I've used and breakfast and the main meals on option are delicious. It's perfectly located at the top of Protoras strip where you have the choice of all the bars and restaurants at your doorstep. The beach is a 5 minute walk, which also has bars and restaurants, so you will never find yourself without a toilet or liquid refreshment. Staff were super friendly and the rooms were immaculate, everything you need in a booking. Well done Kapatanios Bay Hotel. I will definitely be coming back.
