the gentleman at the reception who checked us in was very rude. To be honest, this is the first time I have encountered such rude behavior from a staff member at a hotel and the first time I am giving a negative review.this man definitely shouldn't work in tourism

Excellent location, lovely and warm after a cold day in the city, comfy beds, huge room with high ceilings, extra large, windows in the room, honestly for what we paid absolutely amazing what we got. Easy access to the luggage room, 24 hour reception, everything you could want a stones throw from the hotel. Really don’t understand the negative reviews.

Breakfast was basic but honestly for the value of the stay, it was more than adequate. Because the hotel is bang in the city centre, there is a lot of traffic that you can hear outside, and due to being it being an old building. I had no problem with it, but could see it would be a problem if you were a light sleeper (take ear plugs).

The best part of staying in the hotel has to be the location as it is so close to multiple bars , restaurants shops etc. The room was cheap and basic which was exactly what we were looking for. Checking in was simple and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was included however we didn't end up using it due to being so close to other places.

In general we were extremely happy with the room. The only things we could've benefited from having in the room were extra facilities like a fridge or fan as it did get quite warm. In the nighttime the trams were somewhat noisy however we were out until late anyway so it didn't bother us too much but for some it may be an issue.

Me and my friend got a room with a fabulous view!! We took photos with central Prague in the background and in the morning (there was a balcony!) the wind gently brushed the curtains over by the two twin beds which looked like a king together. The shower was nice and the hotel had an old classic feel. Breakfast was good too. Tv was included she liked that.

Decor was simple but it’s ok. It functioned well. We couldn’t work the elevator cause we were noobs so we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs a few times but worth it. There is in fact an elevator but the layout is a bit confusing.

I recommend the accommodation services offered by Hotel City Center in Prague. This is an ideal option for singles and couples who are looking for cheap accommodation. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center (within a 10-minute walk) and public transportation stops, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel has basic facilities, but there is everything you need for city breaks or short vacations.

When I chose this hotel I did not expect luxuries, just basic amenities. Everything was in line with my expectations. The only thing that disappointed me was the front door to the room, which provided a low level of privacy and security. I also missed more intimate night lighting, as well as a breathtaking view of the city, rather than the rooftops of the surrounding houses.

The room was clean and larger than I expected, also the bathroom. Breakfast was decent. Bed was ok. Free wifi works great. Best location in central Prague. Overall a nice stay.

Water pressure in the shower could be better. No kettle. Walls are very thin, you can hear everything, so it's a bit hard falling asleep. I was told the elevator works only from the second floor and carried my luggage up there, later I noticed the elevator works from the reception floor. Why should the hotel stuff tell the costumers to carry their luggage in the stairs for no reason is beyond me.

Location was good and within walking distance of major places of interest. Metro station on the door step and, transfers from airport to the city centre easy and cheasp. (A 90 minute interchange ticket between bus, metro and tram costing less that £2. 50% discounted for those ove 60 years!! Breakfast was excellent. Great variety and choice to suit most diet needs and preferences. Room was clean and tidy with a daily 'maid' service changing towels.

Think the room could have potemntially had a tes/coffee making facility.

The hotel is in the heart of the old town of Prague within walk distance of all of the famous tourist views. My room was nice and equipped with all of the necessary things. However it was hot in Prague and there was no air conditioning in the room, I felt comfortable with the littre air driller provided among the facilities of the room. At breakfast I found all of the necessary things, even the selection was not as broad as in a fancy hotel. However, for good stay for a good price, I think this hotel is a perfect option.

For this price I found everything OK.

The staff in the reception are very nice, but I will write about my experience with the lady in the reception with smooth blond hair, as I had more interaction with her than others. She was the nicest I have ever seen. She is very lovely and helpful, and answer all my questions with lots of care even before I ask them, even though she is very busy with lots of people coming and leaving with questions, but she still answer everyone's questions with genuine help. I booked a room with city view, once I arrived I realised they gave me one without city view. I discussed with her and she genuinely tried to fix this problem, and although there was no room with city view available that night, she managed to sort this out for me with all possible options available. She offered one available next day. Although I had one night in a very tiny room with city view, the rest of the nights I stayed in a nice room with lovely city views, and the rooms are very clean. I just wished I get her name to thank her, but I am sure she will know if she reads this.

Staying at City Center Hotel during President Marcos's state visit for our News Coverage was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the superb breakfast spread and the warm welcome from the staff. Our room on the 6th floor exceeded our expectations with its stunning views of Prague. The location, near Pavilion mall, was perfect for exploring the city center. What's more, the affordability of the hotel made it a fantastic value for money. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning to this gem of a hotel!
