Good location and quiet. Great little coffee shop and a great cocktail bar essentially next door. Fantastic service—perhaps the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. They immediately found us parking right in front of the hotel, took our bags up to the room, offered us water every night when we came back, and went above and beyond. The breakfast was good and varied and what you would generally expect in Europe. The room was pretty tiny, but quiet, clean, and comfortable. The central atrium has a skylight and a cobblestone floor, and is a nice and atmospheric place to enjoy breakfast and plan one's day. The hotel has some character and interesting history—apparently, the building dates from around 1200 and at one point was the stable for the St Agnes nunnery. I would recommend this place and would totally stay here again for future trips to Prague—we really loved the city and hope to return soon.

The only thing I would suggest is that they shorten or streamline the check-in process. They were very helpful by sitting us down and offering us a free drink, pointing out key points on a city map, etc., but they were also soft-selling their tours and we were tired from a long drive and would have just liked to go to our room.

Great service. The owner Frank and staff attended to all of our needs with prompt service and a friendly smile. This is a very high end boutique hotel - beautiful, fully renovated convent from many years ago. Beautifully appointed, excellent breakfast, wonderful service all around. Received a free transport to the airport at the end, from the excellent attendant Michael. If you want a memorable experience at a fine hotel well located in Prague then this is it. This is the best hotel we stayed at. The entire staff was so nice, kind and helpful, always available to assist with anything we need, e.g. booking transportation, activities, laundry. They even packed us breakfast when we checked out from the hotel early morning to take the train to our next destination. The hotel is beautiful; facility, room is always clean; and breakfast is delicious. Fruits, tea, water are always available for guests. We will always stay at this hotel if we ever visit Prague again.

Our experience at The Residence Agnes was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed—especially Stefan. He greeted us with a smile, poured us a cold beer, carried all of our luggage to the room, and then sat down with us for 15–20 minutes to walk us through a map of Prague. He gave fantastic local recommendations—we tried all three restaurants he suggested, and they were excellent! The hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is fresh and delicious with a great variety, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk to all the main sights, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. Truly outstanding service and hospitality—we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Prague!

From the moment we walked in to the second we left, the staff was attentive, the food fabulous, the service was welcoming. Each member of staff was accommodating and truly nice, they wanted to make sure you had a lovely stay here. This cute little boutique hotel had everything a guest could want while visiting Prague, especially the welcome drinks were perfect. The location was perfect, near everything but also a side street that was quieter.

That we only stayed a few days, we will be coming again to this hotel.

I could spend a page writing about how precious this hotel was. No wonder the reviews are all so good. Location was amazing. Step right out onto the cobblestones to the amazing Old Town sights, incredible Michelin dining and high end shopping and the Easter market. Spectacular staff was always waiting with a coffee or beer or cold drink in the lobby when you arrived back from sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and they even had made to order omelets crepes, etc. We arrived in a car. Staff unloaded luggage and then rode with my husband to show him parking garage. Staff was so helpful in booking concerts and dinner cruise. Room was spacious and very comfortable for a good value. I was ready to move in at the end of our stay. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Breakfast was delicious and fresh every day, and we also received incredibly helpful tips about the city and local events, which made our experience even richer. A full 10/10 for this hotel. I loved the vibe of this hotel. Most of the credit goes to the staff who proactively and kindly offered their help in every situation- clearly standing out from what you would normally expect. I really felt at home! I lenjoyed the historical stone floor in the reception hall with the high ceiling. I appreciated the super quality beddings and the quiet room. Slept really well. The hotel was close to eg I needed to go to. My warmest recommendation to hotel Agnes and greetings to the owner: you have chosen the right people for superb customer service!

Nothing to complain about

The team was so incredibly friendly and courteous. I have never experienced anything like this before. On arrival and after each day in the city, we were greeted in a friendly manner and offered a drink on the house to help us relax. The property is located perfectly for a stay in Prague. You can easily reach a lot of the important places of interest with a short walk and also public transport is only a few meters away. The driver was picking us up from the train station and giving us a ride to the castle. All these service included in the price!

The breakfast was for us a little bit too much English style. We have been missing some more sweet things like loose honey or different kinds of marmalade not packed like in a supermarket. But this was the only thing. There was plenty of other nice things like self made quiche or different kind of cakes!

This was by far the most hospitable experience I've had at a hotel. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a glass of wine/beer, and once settled, our very knowledgeable hostess had us sit down with her to plan our itinerary. Victoria's recommendations regarding tours, concerts, restaurants, etc., were so incredibly helpful! She then made reservations for all our events/dinners, and then provided us with a printed itinerary complete with tickets for our selected events. The hotel also made their drivers available to transport us around the city at no charge. In addition to the incredible hospitality, the breakfast was amazing with the best scrambled eggs ever in addition to omelets made to order, fresh fruit, bacon and sausage, and homemade baked goods that were made fresh every day. Oh and our beds were very comfy and the heating and air-conditioning worked perfectly. The location was also perfect, in that we were only a 5-minute walk from the Old City Square. I would never consider staying anywhere else in Prague - loved every minute of our stay! Thank you so much, Residence Agnes staff, for making our stay exceptional!
