The hotel is very nice and modern, very clean and the staff were all nice and helpful.. The room was a bit small but we managed to keep our stuff around. The location is very good it’s near all the attractions and near a lot of good cafes that you could go to have breakfast if you like to explore the city instead of eating at the hotel. The only thing that bothered me was the bed, the mattress and pillows weren’t comfortable at all..the pillows were too soft and the mattress gave me a back pain, and if you could control the temperature of the room, we had to open the window to keep ventilation.

The hotel was really nice, cosy and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. The minibar was free of charge. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the astronomical clock square.

The breakfast was a bit expensive. The buffet breakfast was not included in our stay, and we decided to try it for one day. We also had 4 coffees on the other 2 days, and we paid 85 euros. Also, there were no eggs choices in the breakfast, and it was additionally charged.

Hotel Maximilian was in the PERFECT location! A 5-10 minute walk from Old Town but in a very quiet part of Prague. From the time we checked in, we were very impressed with the quality of the staff. The reception staff was very attentive and clearly wanted my wife and I to enjoy our stay in their hotel as well as Prague. We even had an opportunity to meet and visit with the hotel manager. She was very professional, easy to chat with, and a FANTASTIC representative for the hotel. When visiting Prague again in the future, we will certainly stay at the Hotel Maximilian.

We had an amazing two-night stay at the Maximilian Hotel in Prague, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and attentive – any time we had a question or a small issue, they were quick to assist and always did so with a smile. It truly felt like they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The same level of service continued at the bar – friendly, professional, and always eager to please. It made the whole experience feel even more special. One of the biggest highlights for us was the location. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Prague, making it super easy to explore the city on foot. Whether we wanted to wander through the Old Town or enjoy the nearby cafés and attractions, everything was just a short walk away. As for the room itself – everything was spotless. The cleanliness, the comfort, the quality of the bedding – it was all top-notch. We slept incredibly well and felt totally at ease throughout our stay. Honestly, there’s nothing we could fault. It was a truly enjoyable experience and we really appreciated the thoughtful service and relaxing atmosphere. They couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at - and believe me I´ve tried many! The location is fantastic (we walked everywhere during our stay), the breakfast is superb, all the staff was very nice and helpful, the design is absolutely beautiful, everything is clean and smells nice, free mini bar with non alcoholic drinks... I could go on and on. The icing on the cake was a surprise bottle of prosecco, a slice of cake and a handwritten card for my birthday. I just cannot recommend this hotel enough. Stay here if you´re going to Prague!

The bed was too firm for my taste. But again, that is a matter of taste :)

Very clean, beautiful hotel with various amenities such as free drinks included in the mini bar, an excellent well stocked bar in the entrance, a quiet lounge and garden and an underground parking. All around, high quality rooms with everything working just perfectly!

I would recommend against parking at the hotel, or renting a car at Prague in general - it is not cheap, and the parking space is cramped. The entrance is extremely small! Also had a small incident that I assume is a one-off - fire alarm went off in the middle of the night but it was a false alarm.

We visited here in January to celebrate my partners birthday and were hoping for something special - we were not disappointed. Excellent service from start to finish. Angelo helped us before we had arrived and accommodated for all of our needs. He was incredibly professional and also pleasantly friendly. We felt the service went above and beyond what we expected and were very sad to say goodbye. The rooms themselves were stunning! Both modern and stylish while classically cosy. Even the people working the bar downstairs were a pleasure. We were greeted each day with a big smile and a genuine welcome. It made it difficult to leave and go sightseeing, but when we did, we were happy to have all locations within a 10 minute walk. It was a perfect location. 10/10 all 'round

The hotel is new, extremely clean, and well designed. The location is perfect and surrounded by fun/interesting things to do in Old Town. 20 minutes walking distance from practically everything "to do and see" in central Prague. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee are fantastic. It's also connected to a great bar for drinks (not associated with the hotel). We both got massages in the hotel's spa, which is beautiful -- high marks! Excellent value overall.

Keeping in mind that pillow preference is totally subjective: the pillows on the beds flatten very easily (there's little to no structure to them). We like more firm pillows, and this hotel's pillows don't provide any support. Also, we requested an ironing board twice and both we're broken. We were able to make them work, but I would recommend the hotel purchase new ironing boards. It's a small expense, and the experience of receiving a broken item twice didn't fit with the overall top-tier experience of the hotel.

Best location in Prague. The hotel was meticulously conceived in architectural and decoration details. The owner is probably a borderline psychopath in perfectionism. Staff is well trained. Very comfortable and bathroom amenities are great. The Café is amazing with very warming service.

Overall cleaning was great, except for the bedroom and bathroom floors that could be better. Also, unfortunately we had an issue with one of the bath robes that not only were not washed, but it had an used tissue paper in its pockets.

Excellent location. Close access to transport options and walking distance to many of the city's main attractions. The hotel was clean, classy and modern. My room was well designed, quite big and very comfortable with chairs, a desk and a couch. Plenty of restaurants and food stores/supermarkets close by. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave some excellent recommendations for places to eat/drink and things to see/do. I would 100% stay here again if I came back to Prague!
