Location is BEST, walkable to everywhere as long as your feet can take you. 😀 The only transport i use is Bolt taxi from UAN Florenc bus Terminal ,15 mins ride to hostel cost around 6€ The spitfire butterfly sculpture- by renowed artist David Černỳ is just 1 min nearby on the same street. Kebab, KFC, Chinese/ Vietnamese, gelato creme la creme restaurants is next to hostel. 10 mins walk to Astronomical Old Town area. Receptionist Adela is sweet and very helpful, giving info where & how to go places/ where to eat local cheap food.

6person female room (rm 305) and only one fan, not enough! Bed at far end wont get any air from fan. Hot in summer, noisy when windows are open coz it is on the main street with trams / cars passing by. Bring earplugs and sleep masks! ! Bright sun shining into rooms in morning throughout the day. Blackout curtains would help to keep the room cool during summer. A full mirror outside the bathroom area would help alot especially for women. We need time to make ourselves presentable.😁 If a person uses the bathroom to shower, makeup etc.. Its a minimum 1 hour wait to use the bathroom! 🙄

The bedrooms very clean and the location was no less than ideal. I had never stayed in a hostel before and this was super easy and simple.

The girls bathroom, particularly the shower, was not as clean. There was hair on the floor and seemed to be dirt on the floor as well? There is also a timer that turns the light off every few minutes and the room went pitch black twice during my shower. I had to open the shower door and flail my arms around so the lights would turn back on.

I stayed at Downtown Hostel in Prague and honestly loved it! 😊 The location couldn’t be better – it’s right in the city center, super close to all the main sights, cafes, and public transport. Perfect if you want to explore the city without wasting time! The prices were really good, especially for such a central spot. Everything was clean and well-kept, and having a private bathroom in the room was such a plus 🙌 There’s also a shared kitchen which I found super handy – it’s got everything you might need: pots, pans, toasters, kettles, fridges… you can totally cook your own meals there and save some money 💸🍳 The staff at the reception were super kind and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist. There's even an elevator, which made carrying luggage way easier! 🚪🧳 And one thing I really appreciated – they have a chill-out area where you can relax even after check-out. So if you have a late train or flight, you can hang out comfortably without stressing. Such a nice touch! 🛋️✨ Overall, this place felt like a great mix of comfort, convenience, and friendly vibes. I’d 100% stay here again! ❤️

Excellent location near the Old Town and near good food places. Trams came right outside. We were just a 10 minute walk from where our tours started. For the price, the room was good and the bathroom was fairly big. The shower was powerful. Staff were really helpful and nice! Someone on reception 24/7 to help.

Our keys to our room stopped working multiple times during our short stay so we’d have to go all the way down to reception from the 5th floor each time. The shower was cold on the last day. There is no air con, only fans.

The staff were amazing, especially the woman who checked me in when I arrived, Gabby was her name. She was very efficient but also very kind and easy to talk to and she gave me lots of tips for places to go in Prague and was ultimately incredibly helpful in making my experience in Prague the best it could be

The hostel wasn't overly social in the way that there wasn't a whole lot of people staying in the room I was in, but that's not really anyone's fault so I don't blame anyone for that, but the location and facilities were great either way so worth the stay

We visited Prague as a group of 5 people and booked a quintuple room. It was quite spacious and comfortable. The room has a private bathroom, which saves you the hassle of sharing the bathroom with other boarders and waiting to use it during busy times. The location of the hostel is also great. It is centrally located and Charles Bridge is at a walking distance. Metro and tram stations are also nearby. The reception is also open 24×7 in case you need some assistance. Overall, I would recommend this place in case you are looking for a pocket-friendly accommodation in a central location in Prague.

The late check-in time of 2:00 pm is a problem for those who arrive early (like us). While it's understandable that it is a hostel policy, but I feel provisions for early check-in can be facilitated to make life easier for boarders. Keeping in mind that the check-out time is 10:00 am, check-in can easily be started from around 11:00 am. However, I must mention that even if they don't allow an early check-in, they allow you to keep your luggage in their lockers until it's check-in time.

I am not a big fan of hostels in general as I am phobic for narrow spaces (& bunkbeds) and I hate the idea of shared distant bathroom in most hostels but this hostel changed my mind. Perfect location (I walked easily to all the landmarks and 5 min from the main shopping street), very spacious room, very clean bathroom which was inside the room. Kitchen is perfectly equipped. Staff are very responsive (I booked a mixed room by mistake and they helped me immediately to change). I really liked the experience and it is a top value for money.

The location is perfect, with restaurants and bars conveniently nearby and easy access to the charming old town and public transport. The hostel offers 24/7 reception, spacious and comfortable rooms with shared bathrooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. They also organize engaging activities such as walking tours, game nights, and other exciting events, making it a fantastic choice for social and active travelers.

The laundry room could use improvement as the dryers are not functioning efficiently, taking an extended time to dry clothes. Additionally, there are not enough laundry facilities to accommodate the needs of users.

The hostel is very nice, the women room was unexpected very big, there is a box for your luggage, but you need to ask for a padlock. There is a common kitchen - fully equipped. And on saturday (probably) there was a breakfast to buy. The hostel is close to the old town and city centrum. there is a lift in the building. You can leave you luggage before check-in , and after check-out.

the bathroom (shover and toilet) is outside the room, the bathrooms (shover and toilet) required very good cleaning!!! Also behind the bed next to the wall required cleaning.

Very good location - close to the old town and surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants, and more. It’s just a 1 minute walk to the nearest tram station, but Prague is a very walkable city, so with this great location, you can easily walk to many main attractions. The staff is great, special thanks to Sofi, who helped me a lot when I arrived on the first day. The facilities are excellent, with a spacious kitchen fully equipped for preparing your meals and there’s even leftover food available from other travelers. The common area is also spacious and comfortable. Payable tea, coffee, and other drinks are available at reasonable prices. The dorm is spacious, with one bathroom inside the dorm, which is convenient, plus an additional shared bathroom outside.

Unfortunately, there weren’t many travelers during my stay, so the hostel felt a bit too quiet. But that’s totally okay!
