Amazing location right in the old town. Full of bars, nightlife and things to do. Metro station nearby. Very cheap price compared to the competition, especially the economy room which is small, but very clean. Great breakfast with lots of cooked options and vegetables

Walls were a bit thin, depending on your neighbours you can hear a lot of noise. Small bathroom and sink. Might seem a bit outdated for some, but it has it's charm. Bed was not that comfortable.

Location is fantastic and you can’t wish more to be in the centre. Very close to the main historical attractions and vibrant streets.

Staff in general was really great, however the Housekeeping in the morning could be heard just outside the room talking very loud quite early…

Really old hotel as the name suggests but it has character. The furnishings are dated but the water pressure in the shower is good and stable. The room had prints of Van Gogh’s painting and other impressionist artists. The room is of a decent size with kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, good heating as the temperature at night was in the range of 4-6 degrees celcius during my stay. The bed and mattress feels a tad worn, it could have been better though it is still acceptable. The breakfast was great with a wide variety to choose from, ham, cheese, butter, eggs, harsh brown, coffee, tea, milk, fruit juices, muesli bar, corn flaks, yogurt, bread and fruits. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from Praha Main Station but it is very near many of the tourist attractions and is surrounded by many eateries around it. It is a small hotel, very much family run style. It is not crowded with people and it feels cozy. The Ubekz lady who helps check us in was quite humorous.

The room has a mild musky smell.

Very friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Reception closed at 5pm. Therefore, luggage had to be collected from the left luggage room before 5pm.

The staff were very lovely, breakfast was good and the location excellent. It's so close to the old town and all the majority sites are walkable. We went in February when it was freezing but the hotel was always nice and warm and cosy! It was spotlessly clean. Room had good facilities like a hairdryer, fridge, safe etc

The hotel was a little run down in places (only very minor things like cracks in the door and bits of wallpaper coming off), but it was very clean and these minor things didn't detract from the experience. We were next to what I think was the kitchen and it was a little noisy from 6am onwards and didn't bother me as I am an early riser but if you want a lie in and are a light sleeper then maybe request a room upstairs!

Everything was amazing. Starting with the location, just 5 minutes walking from the clock tower. Area full of restaurants, pubs, souvenirs shops and metro. The staff is really nice, especially the sir who received us on the first day. He was really helpful and caring about us. Regarding the room, I have to say that the check in was at 14:00 but they said that if possible it would be ready at 12:00… we arrived at 11:30 and the room was already done, so we could leave our luggage there. The room is decorated in an ancient style but in a good way, absolutely clean, big and with amazing views (we could see the castle, the clock tower and the end of Tyn church from the room). I am still missing the huge shower, one of the best I have ever been.

Nothing bad. I would stay here again if I go back to Prague

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was old fashioned in a good way and felt safe and friendly. The other guests were mainly couples and friends; I didn't get the feeling that party crowds stayed here We had a nice quiet room at the back; it was also very cosy and the cleanliness of the room and premises was superb. We loved the excellent choices for breakfasts, including fresh fruit, and the serving time (7.30 -10.30). The staff we met were very friendly. I'm really pleased that we chose to stay here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The location couldn't be better....basically ground zero in central Prague. The breakfast was fresh with a large selection of sweet and savory. Our room was very spacious and overlooked a school playground. It was sometimes a little noisy with children during school hours, but I imagine it is much better than overlooking the street. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The elevator was a bit dated, but it was reliable and fast. I had to pay the city tax and transportation to the airport in czech crowns which was an inconvenience. I would prefer to use my credit card.

Great location! Good breakfast buffet, better than typical in Europe. Room has all you need: fridge, kettle w/ tea & coffee, safe, shower, TV, mini closet, comfortable bed, solid WIFI, strong air conditioning that you control.

On a queen size bed you get no top sheet and two single sized blankets. But my room in Cesky Krumlov had the same, so maybe this is just a weird Czech thing? No keycard so you have to carry around large keys. Lift is extremely small, wouldn't recommend if you can't handle stairs. No clothing iron in room.

From the moment I first arrived there was a wonderfully friendly vibe all round. My single room might have been small, though everything I needed was there, but the welcome was massive as were the buffet breakfasts. Apologies to the restaurants of Prague but most days I could fuel up for a day’s exploring and return shattered to my bed having not managed to burn off all the calories I’d taken on at breakfast. The room may have been small but the bed was so comfortable some mornings I didn’t want to get up even after the bells of Prague’s nearby churches had roused me from my slumber. Shower perfect. All other room facilities spot on.

Size wise I might have preferred more room but no grumbles there apart from maybe the television which lacked any English channels. Then again I only really had it on for company.
