We moved in last minute as hotel we originally booked was too noisy. Metropol was amazing, very modern, clean, central. Everyone spoke very good English. Very, very friendly reception staff. Breakfast was fabulous and staff there was lovely. Room was air conditioned, quiet, fully stocked minibar, electric windows. We couldn’t fault it. Our room was ready early at 12.30, we also booked extra night as our flight was late at night and we Kraft around 7.pm, and they actually refunded a bit for that. Honestly, we stayed in Prague 4-5 times and this was the best hotel we stayed so far. We booked the old town view room, and it was fab. You will definitely not regret it.

Lift, very slow and just not easy to use with the need of card. Didn’t affect our stay.

The staff most of all. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff, cleaners and mostly the front desk. The location and facilities were great. When a problem arose in our room, it was checked and we were immediately offered a replacement. Breakfast was good. Staff was very accommodating when our flight was delayed.

The first room's smell. The shower door didn't close all the way so the water leaked on the floor soaking up the towel. But that's it. Everything was great.

I really liked the location of the venue, it was in the city centre and next to a mall. Extremely convenient. One of the managers / hosts / receptionist had recommendations to go to a place called Garden Restaurant and some other places. It was so good! We took some nice pictures.

Nothing. I was worried because of the carpet in the room that it would give me a severe dust allergy. But the cleaning is exceptionally good in Prague with high standards so I had zero allergies!

The rooftop was great, take a cocktail up and watch the sunset. The room was basic, but clean and the beds were comfortable. There was air conditioning and outside the window there was an automatic blind to help keep the room cool. We were on the 6th floor and there was a good sized lift available. Complimentary Coffee and tea was also available. The bathroom was small but functional. There was a bistro downstairs selling lovely food and drinks, which we could take to the roof top or to our room.

My friend and I are both CPAP users. So plugs close to the bed are required. There were few plug sockets in the room and my lead had to go over my friend's bed at night. There was no bath mat in the bathroom and the bath was really slippery, so showering was a bit risky. We had to pay for our bags to be kept safe after checking out, which is unusual in my experience. The furniture was clear plastic? And I would not have dared to sit on it, even if I was much slimmer. This meant we had to sit on the bed whilst in the room. The photos on the website are a little misleading I may not have booked had they been more realistic. That being said, I would stay again.

Great location, in the city center, with everything at walking distance - supermarkets, restaurants, bars, everything. Reception was really friendly, you can leave baggage with them for 25czk per bag. The hotel was clean but the roomservice didn't do much during my stay. The rooms are not that big but I just went there to sleep so it didn't bother me. I would go back there.

staff didn't know what they were serving for breakfast and didn't bother to find out - view from my window was a wall - it didn't bother me as I didn't spend much time in the room but it wasn't pleasant

I really did enjoy my stay in Prague. The location of the hotel is very good and it helps to visit all the city around even by walking. From the airport it's very easy to arrive directly to the hotel by public transport means. The staff of the hotel is very helpful and kind. Everything in the hotel was clean. I did enjoy the city view on the rooftop of the hotel. I really recommend this hotel also for solo travelers. ☺️

The hotel is very well located within walking distance to the main sites in the Old Town. The staff was very gentle and the ambient of the hotel was in general very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent.

Super clean! Excellent, central location (steps from Narodni Divadlo, Vltava, easy walk to other theatres & Mala Strana). Coffee/tea and minibar/fridge in room. Huge window you can actually open (unlike the majority of US hotels). AC that worked. View of David Cerny's butterflies. Nothing fancy but perfect for someone who needs a comfortable and clean place to sleep. Very quiet wrt other rooms. No noise from neighbors at all - always appreciated. (BTW, this was an unplanned stay and literally a last minute reservation, after the AirBnB I reserved blew up at the last minute - so glad I found this, will come back. Cheaper and much, much better than the AirBnB I reserved.

I liked everything. Very minor issue was that I couldn't get the internet to work but not a big deal if you have a hot spot. The window faces Narodni Trida, so could get a bit loud in the evening (esp. when the Czech team got the gold in hockey, so completely understandable), but did not prevent me from sleeping. Also, there is a lavish bfast but try to go early, as it can get full.

We did not get to use the rooftop do cannot really comment on this. We went for a group trip. Staff were friendly. A great location for walking in and around the old town. Rooms were adequate and had what we needed for a basic hotel stay. And were clean and tidy. We ate breakfast there on the first morning but chose to eat out all the others as the food wasn't great and with so many lovely eateries around seemed pointless not to experience what the area had to offer.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very central location and makes it easy to get to the main attractions. The room was clean and well maintained. Daily room housekeeping was appreciated.

The view from the rooftop terrace is stunning but there were no lights. We had to use our phone lights to see in the dark! The lifts were very erratic. There were times when we had to wait a long time for it and it bypassed our floor a few times. We even gave up once and walked down 7 floors to get out the hotel!!
