Everything!!! Location, location, location (like a real estate ad)!! Just steps from the world famous Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock at the old town square!!! Book a room with the breakfast option and you won’t regret it!! It’s not your typical run of the mill “buffet” hotel breakfast; you get to choose from a wide array of brunch entrees and coffee/ alcoholic beverages. And it comes with your room reservation!! Can’t beat that!! Both hotel and restaurant staff were great!! Everyone was nice but special shout out to Anastacia from reception and Mikayla (sorry if I misspelled your name!) at the Venue restaurant!! Top notch service! And the rest of the team too that I didn’t get the names of. Would love to come back!! And hopefully soon!!

Maybe just the staircase. As someone who has huge feet, it was hard to access the steps because they are too narrow. And it’s a spiral staircase with no elevator. So just be mindful of that.

I was very pleased with my stay at Design Hotel Jewel Prague. The staff speaks fluent English and Russian, and I’m sure their language skills go beyond that. We were welcomed with a welcome drink and were shown exactly how to get to our room. What I especially liked is that the building has a luggage elevator — very convenient! The location of the hotel is excellent — all the main attractions are within walking distance, making it easy and quick to explore the city. Breakfast was excellent: you could choose a full dish from the restaurant menu, plus one hot and one cold drink. The smoothies were absolutely divine! The dishes in the restaurant were also very tasty and filling. We had an early departure at 5 a.m., and the staff kindly prepared breakfast boxes to go for us, including smoothies. The restaurant staff provided high-quality service: they were attentive, fast, and professional, and the food was really delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only minor drawback was noise from the pub in the building opposite, which made it impossible to open the window. However, the air conditioner helped, although it was a bit noisy. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Prague!

The hotel is in a great location, only 5 minutes from the Venceslaus square, but still very quiet and somehow separated from the terrible tourist crowd. My room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I was lucky to get a extra-saver offer, which means the value for money really good. A great plus is the breakfast offering (make sure you book it). They have a fantastic menu of dishes cooked on purpose, and I was only two mornings available. There are a lot of nice touches to make you feel t home, like a good night tale card on your bed.

A very minor issue is that the room did not have any table or surface, only a small coffee table. . It was not a problem for me, but if you plan to work with a PC, you need to work on your legs.

I think this is the best value-for-money hotel in the area. It's both quiet and very centrally located, and the rooms are spotless. We stayed as three people; the room was a bit small but very clean, and they cleaned it every day along with offering complimentary cookies. You can have breakfast at the hotel café until 4:00 PM, which is a great plus. Their menu and presentation are excellent. A small note for those who may have difficulty walking: there is no elevator, but you only need to go up a maximum of two floors. Many thanks to Roman at the reception and to all the staff at the café. I definitely recommend this place!

Very nice and quite good equipped, but small room (but at least they have a good solution for singles). The little piece of cake every day and the nespresso machine show the nice personal touch they add. The location is perfect to visit the old town.

I personally don't like the breakfast idea. You eat in the brunch restaurant at ground floor and can select one of the dishes. The dishes are fine as such, but not all are really suited for breakfast and you only find out after ordering. Also only 1 coffee is offered, and I prefer more coffee in the morning:-)

Good location. The front desk people were so helpful and welcoming. The beds were very comfy. The adjoining restaurant had great food. We enjoyed their delicious breakfasts!

No elevator! Climbing several flights of castle type stairs were hard. Lighting in the stairwell was very dim! Needs to be better lit especially at night! It’s an accident waiting to happen. One of our travelling friends injured her foot while we were sightseeing and it was difficult for her to get to and from her room. BTW, the restaurant staff helped her get up and down the stairs! Thanks!

I booked a single room which was perfect for all my needs, The room is quite small but believe me ,it has all that you would require in a bigger size room: comfy bed, safe box, mini bar, air conditioning, big window for fresh air, nice shower and even a Nespresso coffee machine. You also get a filtered water jar with lemon ( nice touch :) ) . The location is just 4 min on foot to the Wenceslas square and the Mustek metro station. And it's also very close to the old town square and main attractions. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and served "a la Carte"-all small details to perfection and with fresh products. The scrambled eggs were heaven! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

No elevator but it was mentioned on the booking and the reception lady explained again that is an historical building and not possible to have it. It was not a problem at all as I travel light.

The location is perfect, we can choose excellent breakfast from 8am to 4pm and its fresh juice made me my days. One of the staff, Victoria is friendly and helpful, although there's no lift she came to take care of me more than three times! I really appreciated all her help. My room named Onyx is lovely, small but clean and well furnished and I was greeted with a very tasty cheesecake and tea. It was announced that their hotel only had stairs so it wasn't a problem lol.

The reception opens until 8pm. When I left my luggage after I checked out, one of the staff reminded me to come back by 7pm, as they need to close at 8pm. I don't think it make sense and it felt like somehow they didn't trust me at all.

I had a wonderful stay in Prague at this charming and comfortable hotel. I stayed in the Emerald room, which had everything I needed. The hotel’s thoughtful touches, such as providing fresh water, daily pastries, and bedtime stories for guests, were truly delightful. A special mention to the staff, both from the hotel and the restaurant where breakfast is served, for being incredibly attentive and accommodating. I especially loved the amazing breakfast/brunch hours (8 AM–4 PM), allowing for a slow, stress-free morning. I hope to return!

The hotel can be a bit noisy since it is not fully soundproof, but this was not an issue for me.

First of all, a fascinating breakfast! Clean rooms, very friendly and helping crew, perfect location. Cute surprises everyday as "bedtime stories"-traditional Czech ones- and a dessert next to the water. What more could we ask for an accommodation? The only trick is that, there is no escalator. But a little bit of cardio is good for health :) And special thanks to our receptionist telling us to buy the "40 minute ticket" for the airport transport, he saved us from paying penalty for incorrect ticket! Thanks a lot, 10/10, highly recommended!
