Very nicely kept newer hotel. Breakfast was included for us and it was amazing! The weather was nice so we breakfast in the actual "Garden Court." Nice staff as well. They all went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is right next to an S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Those are very convenient although we walked back along the river to the hotel a couple of evenings. There were steps only to our room. We needed a strong fellow to carry the bags up the 2 flights to our room. (Ask; it cannot hurt.)

This hotel is outstanding. Number one-the location. The center of everything, everything is within walking distance, close enough, yet far enough that there is no noise and you can sleep without problems. Number two-the staff. Everyone is so, so kind that you feel bad that you have to leave. Especially the dear gentleman at the reception who is always smiling, cheerful, ready to help... Number three- breakfast. Really phenomenal breakfast, with fruits, vegetables, eggs, bakery products, soy milk... everything for everyone's taste. Number four-cleanliness. Very clean and very tidy. Without further ado, I was extremely satisfied and I'm sure that from now on, every time I'm in Prague, I'll stay exclusively here. I recommend it to everyone! And to you, Hotel Garden Court, thank you for your hospitality. We really had a great time ❤️

The staff was amazingly nice and the stay there was great 👍👍. Very close to the center and it was really good we definitely will come back and recommend to others.

Booked a rooftop superior room at the rear of the hotel. The room is a converted attic room with exposed original timber structural beams etc. and 'Velux' type roof lights. The conversion has been carried-out extremely well, with more than adequate provision of power sockets, with tea/coffee facilities, fridge and no-cost safe included. The room is bright and airy, with a large en-suite shower-room/toilet, again very well constructed. Reading other reviews, people have said the hotel was noisy which, if on a road facing room I can understand, however Prague has a public transport tram system which runs 24/7 and are extremely frequent - we were not bothered by noise at all. Breakfast was good, with a fair choice of options. Location of the hotel is superb, it is little more than a 10 minute walk into the centre of the city where all of the expected amenities are located, including the world-famous astronomical clock, the Charles bridge and more historic buildings than you can shake a stick at! Beware the walk up to the castle and palace at the top of that damn hill - also try the chimney-cake with ice-cream (will need a lie down afterwards!). There are a myriad of eateries and bars in the immediate locale, but they can be (reasonably) expensive. Almost next door to the hotel is the Travel and Joy backpackers hostel and bar - excellent place for a very inexpensive meal and drink. To sum-up - well worth a visit, clean room, nice location, also nice open plaza for those late night snifters, will book again...

As usual, hot water in the breakfast room isn't really hot enough for team and the cups are very small - if that's all I can whinge about, so be it! Finally, not a hotel thing but in general, we aren't used to smoking in the UK anymore, but they do like a smoke there - if you are of a delicate disposition in that respect, go somewhere else.....

Excellent memories of staying at the hotel. The room is clean. There is a small kettle and every day a new replenishment of tea and coffee. You can take an iron at the reception for free. I was very surprised by the variety of breakfast. Polite staff at the reception (if necessary, they will even make a geotag of the best exchange offices, special thanks to Ivan). The location is ideal for exploring the beauty of the city. We practically did not use public transport. Thank you! Next time we will definitely stay at this hotel.

Awesome location..staff kind & helpful..concierge type help..David & Roman best ever...comfy beds..good size room...excellent shower..impeccably clean.. Beautiful courtyard w live flowers...quiet break fm hustle of town ctr...easy access to local free transit Uber pick up etc. Cute.rest. nearby. Town sq. 15 min. walk....security cameras & luggage room . Variety bfast foods..beverages. better than most..tons of astries..eggs..bacon..salads..deli meat & cheese fruits...plus more. Will arrange uber...tours n borrow umbrellas. Elevator & 3 lovely bfast dining areas.

The staff was amazing, so friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast selection wasn’t huge, but it had everything necessary to start the day. My double room was a good size, very clean, and comfortable. The location is really good, close to stores, supermarkets and public transportation. Overall, a great experience!

Just as a tip for future guests: some of the rooms are located on half floors, so you may need to either take the elevator and go down a few steps or walk up a short flight of stairs to reach your room.

The location is perfect: close to the center, but away from the noise. Besides our room faced inner garden, so we barely could hear the street even with an open window. Windows are good, blocks 100% of possible noise. Curtains could make a night in the room at the middle of the day - could be very useful if you have a jet lag. There were sockets by the bed, which is a rare thing in Prague hotels. The shampoo/gel and the soap in the bath were in big bottles - much more comfortable than a tiny mini bottles that are usually in hotels. Beds were soft and we slept well every night. The stuff vas helpful and polite. The equipment in the room wasn't old, AC works well and the room has plenty of space. Breakfast didn't have anything special, but diverse and everything tasted good.

The bottles of shampoo/gel and soap were hard to squeeze. Cups at the breakfast are too small, like about 100ml. It's too small for a late or cappuccino that a coffee machine can made, it's too small for a tea - a bag takes half size of a cup. However, you can always take a mug from your room to breakfast.

Only a few hundred meters away from the old town of Prague, but still rather quiet. And also good located: you take the tramway 5 or 9 from the station to Lasarska-station. And from there it's only 200 meters to the hotel. IMPORTANT regarding Prague: there are no taxis directly available at the station (because they cheated on tourists). And mentioning "cheating": do NOT change money at the forex-office at the trainstation. They give a terrible rate (as we found out too late): 25 % below the regular rate. And they didn't care, when confronted later with it. But this has nothing to do with the hotel.

The breakfast was very good, varied and I rate it highly. The location was perfect and very close to the center. The building itself is very beautiful and has a historical heritage. However, the room (no. 144) was absolutely unacceptable. Small, without outside light with very poor ventilation, which was the biggest problem. It was only possible to sleep with the window open. There were a few other minor flaws in the room that could be easily fixed, but the problem with the ventilation and the window that does not have a view outside but a skylight, which makes the room seem even more claustrophobic due to its size. I think that room no. 144 should not even be rented to guests, but should be changed for its purpose. As they explained to me, it is the only single room in the entire hotel and if I had known that it was such a room, I certainly would not have stayed in that hotel. On departure, I asked to be shown another one and they kindly did so, so that I saw that the other rooms were better.

I already explained that room no. 144 which I got in the Hotel was unacceptable. Definitely, It was my biggest problem.
