Everything! We had a very warm welcome from Chris, who really went the extra mile. The room was beautiful and comfy, with some lovely touches like a posh coffee machine and towelling robes. Breakfast was immense and an entertaining experience with the fabulous David. We loved all the banter, being served eggs to 'Abracadabra' was a personal highlight! The welcome drink in the speakeasy style bar was much appreciated too. The location was fantastic, in the centre but just that little bit away from the hustle and bustle so we got a great night's sleep. Everything was in walking distance. We want to come back just to hang out with Chris and David again! Thank you.

Nothing I didn't like.

Everything was perfect. The staff is super kind and nice; they waited for us after the check in time due to our delayed flight and they prepared us a breakfast for our trip back home (we departed from the hotel at 5 in the morning). In general, they have been very very nice, loved the morning talks with David; great atmosphere in the breakfast area. The structure is amazing, the style of the building is very nice, the decoration is welcoming as well as the Christmas decorations. The room is stunning, very clean, beautiful and big, everything super comfortable (from the bed to the temperature of the room and the bathroom). The location is right in the center of Prague, you can find everything nearby (restaurants, center, museums, parks, supermarkets etc.). To sum up, this hotel is definitely the best I have ever been in.

My son and I recently stayed at Nana Macs and it was nothing short of fantastic! If you’re looking for a hotel that goes beyond the ordinary, this is the perfect place. Mornings were a delight, enjoying breakfast and great conversations with David and Chris. Their warmth and hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. The location is another major plus—right in the heart of Prague, within walking distance of top attractions like Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and Wenceslas Square. Public transport is also easily accessible, making it convenient to explore further. Staying at Nana Macs felt like stepping into a charming historic retreat while still enjoying modern comforts. We had THE BEST stay at Nana Macs. Chris and his team were so friendly and welcoming. I had contacted the hotel before we arrived with a couple of queries etc and communication was brilliant. I stayed in one of the family rooms with my sister. It was a very spacious room with two large beds, it’s own seating area and en-suite bathroom. We both agree that it was one of the nicest rooms that we have ever stayed in. The hotel is in a great location and is beautifully decorated (very quirky and original). We particularly loved the cafe/bar downstairs which was great for a couple of drinks before heading out for dinner (or a night cap!). We can’t wait to return! A big thank you to Chris, Michael and the rest of the Nana Macs team!

This was one of the most unique and welcoming little hotels I have ever stayed in. The owner and staff were so warm, friendly and helpful, and really made us feel at home. Quite a nice quiet location, despite being very central; just around the corner from Wenceslas Square, only a 10-15 minute walk to to Prague Old Town. and just 2 stops on a tram from the central station. Rooms were beautifully decorated, making the most of the old building's features, and very cosy despite the cold weather. The included breakfast was great, the little downstairs cafe was cosy and great value for money.

There was a slightly creaky bed in one of our rooms.

On arrival we were welcomed by David who made us feel like home. He was on point,bubbly and with a great can do attitude hard to find nowadays,very helpful person. We booked the suite but I had a problem with my hip and I couldn't climb stairs so David ,without asking for a change,swapped the room with another beautiful room onthe first floor and I really appreciated that. Chris,the owner,was very nice and doe with a pleasant conversation. In my life I've been is so many hotels but rarely I felt homey as at Nana Macs. If you're looking NOT for a stereotype hotel's room ,then Nana Macs is your place. The location is fantastic in the heart of the old town,everything you want to see is just within 1 km walking,the breakfast not a pompous breakfast like the hotel but fresh and full of new flavours every day. The lady in the kitchen makes the best scrambled eggs and ham I've eaten. Coming back someday in Prague because is beautiful place for sure as Nana Macs as well.

Nanna Macs was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Thanks to Chris and a great team who made you feel very welcome, were knowledgeable and helped with any advice, ideas of what to do, taxis etc. The hotel has been refurbished with spot-on eclectic style and taste, whilst maintaining historic features and highlights, so if you find that interesting you will love it here. Excellent choices at breakfast, lovely areas to sit and relax in, location is great and close enough to everything to just "step out and go". "Welcome home" was often the greeting upon return, with fun chats and laughs. I feel that Nanna Macs has fantastic plans ahead and will only get better! Veselé Vánoce! x

Everything! We've loved everything at Nana Macs starting from the personal working there, location, room, breakfast. Location is perfect, close to the city center but also far from the crowded streets. You can get to the hotel from the airport very easy using public transportation and google maps. Also you can visit the city by foot or by tram/bus/metro... you can buy card for public transport for 1 - 2 - 3 days... it is very easy to use public transport and cheap also. The room we've stayed in was perfect for us, a very cosy room, it had separate bathroom with shower, mini bar very well stuffed, cafe machine with coffe pods, tv, a nice and big fan for warm nights and a very confortable duble bed big size. Breakfast is fabulous, besides many options where you can stay to have it (inside/outside) I must tell you that the products you will find there are very good quality and refiled fast. Coffee there is great too! But the greatest asset of the hotel is the personal working there! In all the trips we've been (and we've been în quite a lot) we didn't find such great people! They are very wellcoming and close to you, ready to help anytime, allways with a smile on their faces, it is quite a pleasure to talk with them. Nothing is imposible or to hard for them! I really hope that you will all meet Chris here and convince for yourself what I tell you here! Prague is quite unique, every step or corner you take you will have something nice to see or to photograph , many restaurants, many bars, lots of places where you can eat greate deserts! I also recomend excursions of 1 day each to Kutna Hora and/or Bohemian Switzerland, also ZOO in Prague is great for every age, boat tours are nice too, black light theatre is impresive! Visit Prague staying at Nana Macs and you will not regret it! You can choose to stay in a big hotel and to be nobody or you can stay at Nana Macs and be somebody!

Please be advised that the building where the hotel Nana Macs is it is a very old building updated as much as possible but it doesn't has elevator or AC. There are only 3 levels I think and for most of people this is not a realy big problem. In Prague i've seen that the nights are much cooler than the days in summer and the fan provided în the room it is sufficient to feel ok at night. For the winters the rooms are equiped with radiators.

This was the best boutique hotel I've stayed in by a mile! Actually , it was the best experience of all the hotels I've stayed in. The hospitality was above and beyond, special shout out to David who greeted us as soon as we entered the building and made us feel so welcomed. Chris the owner, was so lovely and gave us complimentary prosecco on arrival. This place has everything hotels are missing these days, they truly cared and pulled out all the stops. The rooms are fab and still reflect the old design of the building, while adding super funky touches. Breakfast was tasty and hit the spot with a bit of everything you could want. From my companions, the coffee was the best they've ever tasted. Location is super handy, quick walk to most attractions, it's near shopping malls, trams and all the sites. 10 stars out of 10!

Having to leave!

We absolutely loved staying here upon our first time visit to Prague. David was warm, fun, friendly and steered us to the most amazing culinary delights!!! After our very long flight from the US we were greeted by Chris. He warmly welcomed us and got us settled in. The property is clean and quirky with wonderful delights everywhere you look. This is a wonderful bouquet hotel in a perfect location …..close to everything but off the beaten path. The breakfast was delicious and served in a charming space. David played upbeat fun music and was happy to make cappuccinos. Book this special spot and don’t look back.💗
