When the staff is polite, friendly and willing to give their best, the rest is marvelous,in arrival I encountered an inconvenience which was kindly resolved by the receptionist and management, for which I am very grateful. It is a hostel with a jovial atmosphere, comfortable beds, The private bathrooms are very clean, there is a terrace where a friendly atmosphere is generated between people from all over the world, a well-equipped kitchen and a bar where you can enjoy good conversations; It's a hostel that maintains prices adapted to its young travelers, I recommend it!.

This is a hostel for only younger than 40 years old. this kind of restriction is quite common in Prague. You need to chek age restriction. a bit far from the city center but u can go by tram easily.

The staff in particular were incredibly friendly (shoutout Bob the bartender), and the value for a bed is exceptional - a dormitory bed at Sir Toby’s Hostel for 3 day was £42.42 (GDP) when I booked. Location being about 20-30 minutes out from Old Town meant that you avoid a significant amount of tourist crowd and you get to experience the quiet life of the city. The offering of an underground lounge/bar was a incredible atmosphere to talk to other travellers and there is also a quaint garden area for those who want fresh air, as well as balconies on every floor for people to use. WiFi was generally satisfactory and beds were also comfortable, though can be a little hot for some people.

When you are booking into a hostel, you are gambling with your dorm roommates, and our stay unfortunately gave us some messy ones, though this was only in our experience and other traveller we talked to had far more positive experiences. There was occasional dirtiness, such as with the lining of the shower door holding a little mold, but this was far and few in between. An improvement that I would like to see is being able to make a deposit for borrowing hostel property, being done on card - you are able to borrow items such as hairdryers, plug adapters, locks and towels but they cannot not be done so in cash. Allowing the deposit to being done on card would’ve been easier as I wouldn’t be needed to hold cash on what is becoming a more card using city.

I booked in a 6 - female dormitory bedroom, it's spacoius. There is a separate room for shower, toilet bowl and sink, so its convenient for guests, they can use it simultaneously, saves time waiting for your turn. Receptionists are all approachable and very informative.

Really comfy bed, actually, and the entire staff were super friendly. I only had breakfast there once, but it was good and worth the price. There was even a free Christmas Eve dinner, which was really a nice touch and very tasty as well. The neighbourhood is great - it's really easy to get to the centre or outside of the city if you want, but just a bit calmer with great places to eat or get a coffee nearby. I really enjoyed my stay!

Everything was really nice - I wouldn't have minded if the curtains for the bunk went down the full side, but that's a pretty minor thing. Anything else wasn't the hostel's fault at all, so overall everything was great. :)

The rooms were spacious and not like normal hostels. There were individual beds which gave me a lot of privacy.

It’s a bit far from the centre by public transport but very doable.

The whole vibe was so cool. It made you feel welcome and the staff took care of you. The cleaning staff were very friendly and quick with their work while acknowledging that people were still sleeping. The placement of the hostel is nicely placed so you aren’t disturbed by sirens and the mass of people.

It’s difficult to climb up to the second bed as the ladder is by the lower persons head and you have to climb by the end using the bed beside it. The toilets were dirty but that’s the guests fault for not cleaning after themselves, so maybe add something to remind them to do that. Lastly the croissants were hard lol. Also please tell people that there is an elevator when they are from the third floor and up.

Nice friendly staff. Comfy beds and nice common room and common kitchen.

All the doors were not closing properly or the knob is not fixed properly. Not enough charging points in the common room.

The community atmosphere during Christmas Eve was amazing. There was free dinner and live guitar music. Guests went on stage to sing, too. Including me, cheered by the crowd. On the note of the female dorm room, it is decent.

The floors of the female dorm are a bit squeaky. I would often be woken up by that sound when my roommate started their morning preparation. The cleaning staff did not wait for others to wake up and just entered the room one morning. I did not remember what time it was, but most people were sleeping, and it was before 11 am. Perhaps this is something can be communicated to the staff. They cleaned very well though, just too much sound.

Location is comfortable, easy to come from city centre (~1.5 km), transport in Prague is functioning for 24/7. Hostel is located in a quiet area of the town, in the Old Prague area. It has a little quiet and comfortable garden with hammoks, big trees and flowers. There are nice balconies on each floor. Also there is a little bar on the ground floor which is not noisy. You are invited for the first free alchoholic drink (beer/wine). You can get simple and healthy breakfast every day (8-10 am). All the receptionists have positive attitude towards guests and always ready to help you. Additionally, they respond to you very quickly by email/booking app. You can get tea for free and delicious coffee (for valuable price) at the reception for 24/7. As the whole hostel, so the room had simple design with oldish furniture. Room and bed sheets were very clean. Bed, pillow and blanket were very comfortable. Shared toilet/shower is cleaned every morning. You are provided with good quality towel, shampoo & shower gel with nice aroma. Every door has its card to open. I felt very safe. There is an elevator which is always free 😁 P.S. some people tell that there is no hangigs for clothes. Yes, there isn't any separate hanging, but - look at the door 😌

Sometimes the water got colder at shower. Walls are thin and every entry to the common area and speaking loudly makes you feel uncomfy and a bit irrirated. Garden and balconies are closed after the late evening.
