Pools are super, a lot of space everywhere, evening shows are hight quality, lobby bar is great, a la carte restaurants are very good. Main restaurant is perfect.

Room 5102 Shower door was broken, sofa was with half broken bottom. Many of staff guys expect the tips by default otherwise they won't do nothing. Drink station (coffee, tee, water) could be more well organised and cleaner (eg near the water cooler always a lot of waiters)

Our stay at the Steigenberger Alcazar in Sharm El Sheikh was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, Lydia, the manager, went above and beyond to make our holiday truly unforgettable. The food was excellent – the buffet offered a huge variety of fresh and delicious dishes, and the à la carte restaurants were simply exquisite. Everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The resort itself is immaculate. The pools are always clean and inviting, and the golf cart service makes it so easy to move around the vast property. We also loved the football field right by the beach – a unique touch you rarely find in other resorts. Every evening, there was live entertainment and shows that made the atmosphere vibrant and fun. Whether it was relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sea, or watching the performances at night, there was never a dull moment. The service, the attention to detail, and the warm hospitality made us feel truly special. In short, this is not just a resort – it’s an unforgettable luxury experience in Sharm El Sheikh that we would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

The hotel is truly amazing, the restaurants are top notch, the pools and the coral reef are fun. All food is halal, which provides personal comfort. Overall, our experience (9 nights) was nearly perfect. The guest relations office is fully attentive to feedback. We personally recommend diving, it is the best experience to do in the area.

The WiFi is slow, and not steady in certain parts of the hotel. Some staff are ultra nice and professional but some staff forget orders, are late etc. The pools close at 6. At 40 degrees, it is hard to enjoy pools at midday. It would be great to allow the pools until 8-9. A prayer area for Muslim visitors would be a great addition.

I think it would be a great experience if it's your first time at a '5 star' resort - for us it was 4 star overall. Good: - Very well presented resort that was clean and well manicured. - 3 large pools and a private beach and jetty. - The gentleman who cleaned our room did a great job everyday and made the effort to fit around our schedule seamlessly. - The food selection at the breakfast buffet was great. Not so good: - The classic problem of people getting up before dawn to reserve the sun beds for the entire day - other resorts now police this quite effectively. It was quite frankly impossible to get a sunbed past 8am even though most of the days the resort was not near maximum capacity. - The staff at the pool bar made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them just for asking for drinks. At a 5 star all inclusive resort I don't want to be made to feel like it's too much hassle to go and order a wine or ask for an ice cream. It was bad enough on the quiet days (they often pretend like they don't see you waiting there), but on the busy days it was just chaos. - Similarly for the breakfast buffet, there is no personalised service for drinks orders and no proactiveness from staff to try to seat you or tend to your needs for example find a high chair for our child. Every day we were asking the same questions and ended up just finding everything ourselves. Again it's just not a 5 star environment. - The alcohol was bad. - The a la carte restaurant food was hit and miss - we enjoyed Asian and Italian, the others not so much. - The entertainment was almost exactly the same every day and to be honest seemed like 20 years old (I know the resort only was built in 2017 but still...) Overall we had a nice week but a lot of things could be improved to justify the premium price tag. Value for money is not there in our opinion.

I truly enjoyed the entertainment during my stay at Steigenberger Alcazar Hotel. The animation team was amazing ,they kept kids engaged with fun activities throughout the day. It added so much joy and excitement to our vacation.

The food in the main restaurant was average. I believe there should be more variety, including a dedicated section for healthy options such as boiled food and meals with fewer spices. Additionally, I couldn’t find the type of milk I usually enjoy with my coffee, as only local brands were offered, possibly to cut costs.

It’s very beautiful place. Rooms are cleaned and cozy. Free mini bar. Water in a glass bottles.The territory of the hotel is amazing, there are lots of flowers and some plants, it’s cleaned. There are 6 restaurants. The food very delicious, you want to eat all of them. I was with my child in January 2025. In the afternoon was warm but windy, in the evening was a little cold, we were wearing sweaters. There is a nice playroom for children. There are nice pools in front of the buildings, but not all of them. Also, many big swimming pools at the territory of the hotel. On the beach cute and comfortable lounge chairs. The service is at a very high lvl. I was at another hotels in Sharm el Sheikh but “Steigenberger” is the best in my opinion.

In general: Our stay was good, very beautifull hotel. Housekeeping takes care of a very clean and large room. The food was great, specially the five à-la-carte restaurants. The staff was very kindly and helpfull. At the pool they bring around the drinks, gives refreshment towels, cucumbers and clean your sunglasses. They (lifeguard, guests relations) ask multiple times a day if everything is ok and if they can do anything.

But our feeling was that the staff (barkeepers / lifeguards) served the others guests better, faster or extra because they tip regulary. We did tip but not as many as others guests apparantly. What we found out (in the second half of our stay) is that u have to dare to ask if u want something. So if u need something small or big, ask! These are just little details of our own experience. It was a superb hotel and stay.

Everyone was so sweet and helpful. I want to thank especially to Sabrina for being amazing. The food was also good but the bakery was on point (compliments to the chef). I also want to thank Makeen and his team at Zohrey restaurant. And lastly, all the golf car drivers and the reception team. Such a sweet environment.

The rooms are good but please be aware that there are pools right in front of the rooms. So if you want privacy make sure you ask for a room that doesn't see the pools. Also, as a hijabi, I need to inform you that only the villas have a totally private pool. All of the others are visible to upstairs neighbours.

The property was stunning, immaculately clean and smelt incredible as soon as we arrived at reception and our Deluxe family swim up room was beautiful and spacious. We even had one of the staff members come in to spray and check for mosquitoes and bugs everyday. I loved the layout of the bathroom, we got fresh towels and swim towels everyday and after a day in being in the hotel, I figured my way around compound, 5 pools and found the adult only pool located closer to the beach and my favourite seafood restaurant. The beach cabanas were soo comfy and private with staff taking orders for drinks if required. The head breakfast chef made my partner and I a special Shakshuka (egg dish) in the morning which was soo tasty and my partner also enjoyed the variety of crepes, mini pancakes, pastries, salads and fresh juice which were soo delicious in the morning. The seafood restaurant was the only A la carte restaurant we had time to go to for dinner due to activities and the food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We opted for a chef curated menu. We also had lunch in the seafood restaurant, Sanafir as it was close to the beach, my partner loved the Calamari. I also enjoyed lunch in Amoura, the Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant. A special thank you to Enas, the Guest Relations Manager who helped me with arranging my dinner reservations and checked in on us during our stay to make all was well. She was ever so friendly and arranged our transfer to the airport. I was never left without a drink in my hand, whether it was water or a G&T which was always perfectly made. Also thoroughly enjoyed their Margarita’s. It is lovely that there is always something to eat and yummy snacks all throughout the day and a bar that was open 24/7 close to reception with friendly staff. You may end up there at 2/3am like my partner and I did. Try their club sandwiches, to die for!

Could not fault the hotel. 10/10.

Hotel facilities are great in general, the pools, the access to the beach. Breakfast is very good, everything is clean, gardens in really good shape. The staff in the bar are very customer oriented and they do a great job. I was asked for feedback during the stay and they took real action.

Transport to the Airport and city, there might be a shuttle bus. We had problems with taxi drivers in every trip we did, they are aggressive, rude, unclear and expensive.... There is a car service in the hotel, but 18USD/ trip is way to expensive for country prices, there might be a mini-bus. A la carte restaurants are not up to the level. Japanese restaurant, raw fish and noddles were dry, as if they were prepared long time ago. Italian restaurant really poor, ravioli uncooked and watery... pizza really low quality. Reception staff should have better English level.
