The hotel staff were very sweet and helpful. They did their job perfectly, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting. You should stay here in Berlin. It was right next to the metro station. Everything you could need was close by — markets, restaurants, cafés, parks, everything. Having snacks and water available in loby at normal prices was a great idea.

There was sometimes a smell of food in the room, especially when we first arrived. The shower water pressure wasn’t quite balanced. The air conditioning didn’t work very well, so opening the window was a much better option for us.

Generally our staying was very good.. But their lift didn't work properly at the first day. But they tried their best to fix this problem. In other day the lift was better, but I think the lift was too old and small comparing to the size of the hotel... The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect which U ban was in front of the hotel that made our transportation easy..

This review reflects the comments of myself and five family members. The hotel is located almost adjacent to one of the entry/exit points of Samariter Straße U-Bahn station on Frankfurter Allee - ideal for us as we used public transport a great deal. Booking in was straightforward and the rooms were clean, well serviced, the beds comfortable, bathrooms working as intended and staff always helpful and pleasent. Breakfast provided enough variety to fill you up for the day and the coffee machine produced reasonable quality drinks. We breakfasted from 9.00am which ensured we missed the busiest time. Outside the hotel there are nearby spati's (open all hours) and a Netto supermarket, DM personal care shop, and a range of cafes, bakers, etc. and there are simply lots of restaurants and bars in the area. We didn't encounter any noise in the hotel which was good in busy periods and the evenings. Overall, the hotel delivered what we wanted in the Friedrichshain district.

No rooms have kettles (so I brought a travel one with me). I find this disappointing, accepting that you can purchase drinks in the reception area. I had rooms (during two stays) at the rear of the hotel - quieter and cooler (when the sun shines). Those who had rooms at the front (overlooking Franfurter Allee) found them noisier (when the window was open) and hotter. There are aircon controls in the rooms however, none of us found a way to make them operate... perhaps idiocy on our part! None of the above detracted from our overall good stay.

The location is the most! Beside there are DM drug store and Netto store where you can buy water and some snack. And the train station is in front of the hotel which is wonderful. All staffs I met three people at reception were really nice and friendly. Overall its convenient place to stay!

Its not about the property but there are some homeless men nearby anyway they did not harm people so no concern.

Loved the location. I also loved that you could do online check in, and that there wasn't a keycard but a pin for the room. There is also a vending machine in the lobby, in case you wanted to buy snacks during the night. Wi-Fi was also great and you didn't have to pay extra for good speeds! The hotel also has self checkout, you just have to leave the room by 12pm and that's it.

You had to double check if the doors are fully closed, since it doesn't close fully with a normal push. Some staff members spoke poor English.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and cleaned every day. The hotel was right our side the subway station - very convenient. I did try the breakfast for one day and it was the usual intercontinental spread, with a variety of options.

I did wish that there was a mini fridge and an electric kettle in the room, but otherwise I was very satisfied.

I liked the location of the place, it is right next to U-bahn and about 5 minutes walk from S-bahn. It was super close to the plaza I needed to go to on a daily basis, which was one of the reasons I looked for a hotel in this area. I really liked the cleanliness of the place, they cleaned my room every day and it was super clean. For the price of the stay it was a rather good hotel. They also offered breakfast for 10 euros per day, but i did not use it so I cannot say much about it. The staff was super helpful, polite, and supportive. They even let me use the storage for a couple of days when I left for another city (free of charge). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I like everything.

Perfect location, that was my main goal for choosing this hotel. Very comfortable mattress and 4 pillows, it was a very nice stay. Netto and DM and a kebab eatery literally next door, you couldn't ask for a better deal.

I would like to have had a fridge in the room, but otherwise it was good.

Very convenient location. Next to the metro station line u5 that connects with Alexanderplatz, Museum island and Branderburg tor. Supermarket and DM next to the hotel, too. Clean and quiet. Most of the staff was polite and helpful.

No fridge and coffee facilities.

Great value for money, the staff were helpful and lovely. The room, bathroom and sheets were clean. Especially loved how the windows blocked every bit of sound that came from the noisy streets.

The location wasn’t the best, we had to take several transportations since everything was closed due to strike. All in all didn’t feel safe in the area.
