Staff upon arrival were very friendly. Arrived between 11am & 12pm to drop off our bags but were told we were allowed to check in as our room was ready which was music to our ears as we were in desperate need of a nap as we already had a long day of travelling from Dublin. The room, while basic, was perfectly clean. The location of the hotel was ideal as we travelled to Berlin to see Madonna in Mercede-Benz Arena, just a 10-15 minute walk from hotel. Public transport to central Berlin is well connected, you’re in the city centre in minutes.

Customer service was excellent, and the staff is lovely. I dropped off my luggage early and was unable to arrive before 3 pm, when the check-in desk closes. They assigned me a room and took care of putting my luggage inside when it was ready. I arrived at 8 pm directly to the room and my luggage was there. They also offer pastries and coffee/tea in the morning for free!

The online check-in and not having anybody to go after 3 pm for questions threw me off, but it all went well in the end. The restroom looked clean but had a smell

Everything was clean, comfortable and functional. It was very convenient to be able to enter using the pin entry system. The complimentary breakfast was much appreciated; basic but adequate - coffee machine, fresh fruit, croissants, pretzels with condiments. The mattress I slept on was very supportive. It was very quiet on the top floor and the blinds blocked out all the natural light so I slept very well. I’d definitely stay here again!

The hotel was about a 12-15 minute walk from any train stations which I didn’t mind but might be worth bearing in mind for anyone for whom that’s a deal breaker.

The NuWave hotel is advertised as being digital access, which was convenient because of our timing, and it was all explained in a video received after booking. It worked perfectly, although there were also receptionists some of the time, who were very friendly and helpful. I was there for clubbing, so easy access through the night was vital. The hotel was easily accessed from the airport, within walking distance of eating places and the Berghain, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I'd completely recommend it and use it again.

No criticisms

Excellent service when I needed a late check-in, very clear instructions and smooth process. Also great service when I requested a fan (because I was not used to the high heat of summer) which they brought to my room. Nice location, near Boxhagener Platz and many food options, as well as Weberwiese station which I used often to get to city centre and many other important places. Room was spacious, simple and clean with a modern bathroom and overhead shower. Overall enjoyed my stay hear, thanks!

More ventilation/cooling especially for summer would be nice :) but good that they can at least provide a fan upon request!

Pleasant and cosy room with very comfortable bed; nice stuff at the reception; love the location - walking distance to the clubs and east train station, nice restaurants in the close neighborhood, also it's very easy to get to the city center; there is also the possibility to leave your bags for the half day

It was our second stay in this hotel and this time we were not so happy with the room - it was much smaller than the first one - it was even uncomfortable for 2 ppl; no kettle in the room and the hairdryer was quite weak

The location is good. Quiet. This area of Berlin is vibrant and busy especially at night. The best about this hotel was its quiet location in a very noisy area. It’s 5-10 min walk from public transport - and public transport to airport. It’s near many restaurants and shops and 15 min walk from the buzzing nightlife streets of this area. Good WiFi in room. Clean room of good size with well maintained furniture. Bathroom is in good condition but is very tiny and I wonder how a tall or big person can fit in the shower. What was excellent was the small fridge and the efficient fan in the room. There is no kettle to make tea / coffee. But what I found really negative was that there is no air conditioning for hot weather (and it was too hot during my stay in the top floor under the roof). There is a lift. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is pricey but staying in that area of Berlin isn’t cheap.

The breakfast was okay, there´s what you need. Very friendly staff, the Irish receptionist was very helpful and informative. Gave advice about a cheap parking near by in a big shopping center. You have to pay for the parking on the street, which is around 3 Euro for a hour. Great with a small fridge in the room. Awesome location!

The ketchup was missing to the scramble eggs, there should have been at slice of toastbread to the bacon and eggs. We didn´t know that We could get a bigger bed, it was a bit tiny, only 140 CM wide.

It was a very clean and spacious room. Cleanness was important as I was traveling with my mum :) The location was also perfect. We were close to everything we would lie to see in Berlin. It was also an extremely quiet room.

The room was on the pricey side, but accommodation in Berlin is expensive, like in any other big city, so I guess it is normal. It would be great if they gave us slippers.

The room was large and exceptionally clean. We had a large pull-out sofa in addition to the double bed,l. There were free pastries and coffee in the hall. Quiet but well-communicated area with lots of nice places nearby.

The bed was squeaky not an issue for the price though.
