This hotel is close to public transportation and some of the sites I wanted to see. There are plenty of restaurants close by and it was not too noisy at night. The accommodations were modest, clean, and just fine for my stay as I was only there a few nights. The free wifi was a plus. There are no elevators and I was originally put in a room on a higher level. I have a physical disability and was able to be moved to a lower floor. That was all handled through chat earlier in the day of my arrival. The chat communication was handled efficiently and my needs were met.

The reception was only open 1 time while I was there. It was closed late morning and early afternoon as well so I regularly came in and out through the alley. As a solo female traveler, the courtyard and side alley was intimidating. It just didn't feel particularly safe, especially at night! The safes to access the keys are not the easiest. I struggled a bit and the motion detecting light stopped activating so I had to use my phone as a flashlight. On another occasion I had to help a gentleman who also couldn't figure it out.

Perfectly located hotel close to a number of public transport options, with shops and shopping mall and tons of international and affordable restaurants just around the corner. Short walk from Warschauer Strasse U-bahn, S-bahn, RAW-Gelände. Perfect for our plans. The rooms, bedlinens and towels were crispy clean, beds comfortable, rooms comfortably warm (and managed per room, which is pleasant, in October). Staff was very friendly. We got to check in early (11 in the morning) instead of dropping off our bags, which was wonderful service. We booked a twin but got upgraded to a 3-person room with 3 single beds, with a kitchenette which allowed us to make our own hot breakfast each morning. Excellent price-quality ratio. Loved our stay here, would stay again when visiting Berlin.

Just a tidbit to keep in mind is that reception isn't manned 24 hrs, so when dropping of or picking up stored luggage on day of arrival or departure, agree on a time beforehand.

The room was clean and comfortable (nothing fancy but perfect for this price), the staff is very friendly and the location is great. There are a lot of cool places in the area and you can get to anywhere really fast by public transport. I especially recommend this hotel for people who visit Berlin for the nightlife.

The street is very noisy in the evening but I think it’s not the hotels fault, it has more to do with the location being busy. So if you prefer to sleep early in a quiet place it’s probably not your choice but again this happens anywhere else if you book at a busy street in a big city.

The property is perfectly located. Close to many bars, cafes, restaurants. Very lively area. It's also close to important Metro and Train stations. The room has a fridge, microwave and an electrical kettle. Although it was in a very busy area my room at the 4th floor was quiet. Good price for the area.

The shower cabin was difficult to close, probably it needs some maintenance. My room was in the 4th floor by stairs. This was not a big problem because I travelled light, but be aware about it. Also it's mentioned in the description, so no big complains.

It is what it is, fairly basic hotel room in east Berlin, really was perfect for what I needed, plus the room had a kettle, fridge and microwave! The more expensive hotel I went to in Hamburg after this didn't even have a kettle let alone the rest! If you're visiting and need a crash pad it's absolutely perfect, awesome shower too!

The back entrance you use to enter the hotel at night is through an alleyway that's not very well lit up and could definitely be a bit nerve inducing if your that way inclined, again wouldn't have bothered me but I know some of my female friends would be a bit freaked out by it

The hotel was close to that place where we had to go. It was easy to get there, but we did not find the entrance because it has 2 ways you get into it. We tried that entrance where only you can get into with code after when the reception is closed. So the main entrance is on the main street, not in the small street, pay attention! The room was simple, but clean, the bathroom also. There were no microwave only heater, no plates, only dishes. They have kettle. Soap in the bathroom was fixed on the wall, I did not find shampoo or anything else. Anyway it worthy for staying and discover the city. In that area there are many cheap streetfood and restaurant. Good place even if they dont have elevator. It is close to the railway station also (5 mins walk) The man at the reception was very friendly and gave clean instructions. I recommend it.

Lack of microwave, plates and shampoo.

We went to a concert locally so chose the hotel based on proximity to the venue Clean and sparse but did exactly what was required. small kitchenette in the room was a bonus but I was only there for 1 night so didn't use it it. Clean bathroom good shower.

Having to go down the lane way after the reception has closed to gain re entry was not ideal .. I was also concerned that there was no one on site if you have any issues during the night. Beds not exactly comfortable but fine for one night

The staff was very nice and accomodating, the shower was heavenly and the location was great. Combined with the convenient parking lot next to the hotel (10EUR per day) it was a pretty good value for what we paid. It was understandably noisy outside, but the windows filtered almost all of the noise out. The neighborhood was also awesome! Lots of delicious cafés and eateries, very lively and great flea markets on Sunday.

We had one single and one double room and I have to say that the double was really tiny - we couldn't even properly open the door because the bed was in the way. The lighting was also kind of wonky, in one room it did not work at all and in the other it flickered from time to time.

I only stayed at Goldmarie for a night, but it was very nice! It had a convenient location, right by several U-bahns and a major S-bahn station, which was very helpful. The room was also equipped with a microwave, plates and silverware, which was extremely handy as I was traveling on a budget and was planning on eating ready-made meals. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

The only issue I had was the shower. It was quite old and leaked everywhere after I used it. But that didn't detract from my stay there

The room was a bit old, but it was clean. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. Everything was explained very well. The location is great. We could park our car safely next to the hotel on a closed parkingground. Costs were very reasonable. Besides that we mainly used public transport, which is nearby and very accessable.

There was a noise from a ventilator or something from the neighbouring room. Streetnoise was okish.
