I honestly cannot recommend Stayery enough, I had a fantastic stay there. Location is excellent - I used to live in Berlin and highly recommend Friedrichshain enough, there are loads of shops, cafes, restaurants bars etc (the majority all independent places) which are all walkable from Stayery. There is also a tram station right outside with great connections and it is only a 10 min walk from Ostkreuz a major train station for local transport and national trains. The accommodation itself is great (think IKEA meets industrial chic), and the bed is so so comfy, and the space is great. Shower is a delight, had really great water pressure and was spotlessly clean. The kitchenette is basic but useable.

Would have been great if there was salt and pepper in the room kitchenette (there was a salt and pepper shaker but nothing in them). There not being someone on site was mostly fine but when I needed to extend my stay it would have been great to be able to speak to someone in person (but it was all sorted).

The apartment is super comfy: beds, kitchen, location, style, the shared facilities, internet, ability to wash your clothes if you're staying long, tea and coffee, etc. It is super comfortable for both a short stay and a longer one. The stuff is amazingly friendly, helping out as much as they can. I defnitely enjoyed my stay there. And the neighbourhood is great. A few min walk from a buzzing area with lots of restaurants and shops, a few min walk from the best ice cream shop in town, and a few min walk from the train station from where the train takes you to the airport in just 20 min. Super well located.

I had a longer (8 days) stay, and my room was facing a wall. While the stuff was totally open to change it according to availability (grateful), eventually it didn't happen for different reasons. Therefore, even though the room was lovely, the view on the wall was a lil depressing. So if you're there for a longer stay, your options are — quieter room facing the wall inside the courtyard, or a louder room facing the street. I can't sleep with noise, so I had to embrace looking at the wall for a week. If you're not a light sleeper or staying for a few nights only, then you won't have this issue.

The room is comfortable and clean. The bed is also comfortable and the shower is nice. There is a lot of space for putting your clothes. The check-in is easy and the information provided clear. There is also coffee and some basic items you can buy in the lobby area. The location is easy to reach with public transport. The kitchen is practical if you want to prepare something small to eat. There are several grocery stores a few hundred meters away. There aren't any basic cooking ingredients like oil, or salt. There is also a great variety of restaurants and bars in the area. Nonetheless the street is quiet and you don't hear any noise from these places.

The cooking utensils are ok, but the cooking pan could be replaced. The only downside is the noise of the tram and the price is a bit high.

I've been to Berlin a good few times and I've stayed various neighbourhoods across the city. Friedrichshain is great area to stay. STAYERY in particular is really close to Ostkreuz station - which is a very well connected station, especially if you are coming from Brandenburg Airport via train. It's a safe, easy walk to Ostkreuz ( 10 mins ) and you are in the heart of a lively area with plenty of cool bars, restaurants, convenience stores etc. There are also good bus routes close by and it's great location to have as a base for your trip to Berlin. We stayed in the "BIGGER" apartment which was VERY thoughtfully designed. The wall cabinets ( for example ) are wall mounted half-way up giving you extra luggage space directly underneath to keep your luggage. One cabinet had a removable key - a hotel style safe would have been overkill and naf but a simple locking cabinet for semi-valuable items really is a nice addition. Concrete ceilings in the bathroom and bedroom were very cool, lots of good lighting options in the room and there were pops of color and fun graphics throughout the hotel and no wifi black-spots. Our experience was 'no fuss' from start to finish. The automated check in kiosk spat out our cards much to our amusement. The WIFI code was on a wall graphic on the elevator - couldn't have been easier and the communication via Booking.com, mail & Whatsapp was very clear, accurate and consistent. Our trip was a big personal occasion ( birthday ) for my partner and I and our stay in STAYERY couldn't have been better.

We needed our bags stored after checking out on a Saturday but the host was only on premises until noon which meant we had to take our bags with us. The host did recommended that we use a train station for locker storage instead - this ended up being way more convenient in the scheme of things. But just to give some positive feedback for the premises - it might be worth considering integrating some sort of automated locker solution in the future, even a paid solution would be greate!

The staff were great. After arriving and finding no around who could help with an early arrival, I called the available number. The call was immediately answered by Esmay who calmed a very tired and grumpy customer. She had a room for us in 30 minutes, and it was a room on the same floor as the other two rooms our adult children were going to be using. During the stay there was always a happy greeting and help with any issue. After about a week we became very sick. Marco helped us call paramedics to have my wife checked and she was taken to the hospital for test. It was confirmed that she had contracted a serious influenza virus. We were unable to leave for a few days and another room was found for us. After one night, I needed a separate room, and that too was located. Without the excellent and kind service of your staff we would have had a much harder time. They immediately became our support group, check on how we were doing and asking if we needed anything. Thank you for doing such a great job.

We found the rooms a bit dark. January in Berlin requires a lot of light. You can be in the room from 16:00 to bedtime and more light would be useful. The larger room we had for a week had two proper chairs, but when we moved to a smaller room there was only one real chair. I think you need to find a way to add a chair. Your questionaire would not accept our rating of 10 overall, and 10 for all areas.

Relatively quiet room in spite of being in a densely populated area of the city. I liked the kitchenette feature. Plenty of storage in the room, and there was a desk and sitting area as well. Close to a variety of grocery stores; restaurants were further afield. A tram stop is right outside the front door, and Ostkreuz bahnhof is a 10-15 min walk. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Generally everything was great. However, the signage could be better: posted information about the hotel was minimal and thus one had to dig or ask for details that easily could be provided in rooms and common areas. Also, it would be nice to have a recycling bin in the rooms in addition to rubbish bin :-)

I had a great stay at this hotel in Berlin. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth from the start. Arrival was easy and well-organized, and the room exceeded expectations—very clean and nicely furnished. While the hotel is a bit far from metro and train stations, there are bus and tram stops right next to it, making it easy to get around. The neighborhood is also really nice and pleasant to walk through.

The only small suggestion would be to provide a shower cap and maybe a bit of salt in the kitchen—just little touches that would make an already great stay even better.

Everything is very very there. That said the stay too. It was a very good experience staying there. For us it was very close to work and all required shops to buy groceries or just have a meal. You have every kind of restaurant within walkable distances. The staff were very helpful and they also received our parcels etc. Entire stay is easily operational. Added to that right outside the door is the tram stop and 5min walk away you have the Ostkreuz S-Bhan station. I would stay here again for sure next time in Berlin again.

Only thing i felt was, it would be have good if we had some door mats at the door and outside of the washroom. Also the cleaning part, it was not up to the mark. I still saw some dust at places even after the weekly cleaning was done.

It’s also conveniently accessible from Berlin’s airport, making arrival and departure especially easy. The hotel itself is impressively modern and tech-friendly; you do the check-in yourself, which is incredibly easy and convenient. The rooms are sleek and beautifully designed, providing a stylish and comfortable stay. I stayed for a full week and enjoyed every moment. For anyone looking for a mix of convenience, style, and technology, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Great location and nice apartment vibes. Seems to be more like serviced apartments for digital nomads rather than a traditional hotel/hostel

As it is semi-remote it isn’t staffed like a hostel which meant that when we needed to leave our bags and a staff member was unwell there was going to be nobody available to let us in to collect our luggage. This meant having to find a left luggage locker - requiring 2 train journeys and missing the first half of the football match we were attending a 15 minute walk from the Stayery. It was an inconvenience and although illness cannot be helped it does suggest the unstaffed model could cause issues in an emergency. Otherwise all was good with the quality of the venue.
