Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel and room clean and comfortable

Each room only has a tiny lock to lock the door from the inside, this is NOT sufficient for security especially for a solo woman. I couldn’t sleep as I heard noises outside the room both nights and was scared someone might be able to enter my room as such a small lock that can be easily disabled with an active card key. The rooms NEED ASAP a chain and bolt for security. Also the eye spy hole in the door needs a little sliding piece over it on the inside as again it’s all too easy to look in from the outside in to the room (I tested this out). Please make your solo women feel safe.

I booked the cheapest room, and was impressed of how spacious and comfy it was. Everything works great: bathroom can be strange at first, but it’s very well designed (and shower is perfect). Bedroom is very comfortable, with lots of great pillows and bed is big. Breakfast is expensive, sure, but also outstanding, with MANY delicious options and live music (and it goes late so it can easily become a substancial brunch). Truly, not only they prepare a gigantic buffet, but also offer great cooked meals like French toast, omelette and pancakes. Bar is good (amazing drinks and food). Location is great: VERY near to the east side gallery and just a small walk from Warschauer Str. Station, which connects you to anywhere basically. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is stunning! It's so bright and colorful, no wonder everyone I saw had a huge smile on their face! :) Staff is excellent - helpful, friendly and eager to tend to any needs or questions. Room was spacious and we were a bit surprised that it is so big! Bed was extremely comfortable and I still think about that huge and soft blanket that we were given. The breakfast was excellent - a lot to choose from and the custom made pink waffles made my friends day! :) Really liked that you can have your eggs made to request as well, just shows that they care about freshness of the food that is served. We booked the hotel due to the location initially, as we went to the concert that was near the hotel in Uber Arena, but if I come to Berlin any other time, I will definitely be staying here again!

What was lacking - maybe slippers or a bathrobe - since there is a sauna area, would've been nice and in our room the ceiling in some places looked a bit worn out, but other than that there are no other issues :)

Excellent location - being so close to Warschauer Straße and the East side gallery was very convenient and made accessing Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Mitte very easy. The staff were friendly and accomodating - it was great eavesdropping on the concierge at the info desk giving a young couple an expert and very personal set of recommendations of clubs to go to away from Berghain and Tresor. My friend had a broken leg and the hotel very kindly loaned a bus a wheelchair to help him get the most out of his recovery stay. It was really appreciated. And I had a fantastic view of the river and the bridge in the room they gave me for my extended stay.

Breakfast buffet food choices felt a little incomplete - you could get currywurst but not bacon, beans, tomatoes etc and the eggs were rubbery. The furniture in our suite looked cool, but was somewhat uncomfortable and impractical.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I can’t stop raving about it to everyone I talk to. The staff was super nice and helpful, especially the breakfast staff! The concept to make it a music hotel is found in all elements - you can rent a guitar at the front desk, every elevator plays a different playlist corresponding to the genre that was given to the elevator, the design is unique and amazing. It doesn’t feel like one hotel out of many but it is something special. Also the breakfast was incredibly good. Some dishes were made to order and the rest was found on a rich buffet of cold and warm dishes. (They even had Currywurst and Kaiserschmarrn) I’ll definitely be back!!

It is approx 10 min walk away from the nearest subway station, which felt long in January Berlin.

This hotel located by the Spree is wonderfully decorated and well animated, nothing like any traditional hotels you have visited so far. The bar with live music provides a great choices of beverages and stays open late at night so you can still enjoy a last drink when coming back from your dinner in town. The rooms are very cozy and the bed very confortable. After a good night sleep, make sure to enjoy the breakfast... which was just FAN-TAS-TIC!!

If I had to nit, maybe some more smiles from the staff, but not much more, everything was perfect!

Staff - everyone is nice and friendly. Pop-up bar (main one was under construction but the temporary one is very cool (if not cooler than the original one)). Such attention to detail and cool things everywhere: the 'do not disturb sign', notes on shower gel/shampoo bottles, pink phone with 'berlin calling' tag, elevators with different music (jazz, electronic, classical, pop, etc) Design - can't see cables anywhere, coffee machine and other stuff hidden in a cupboard, everything in the room is thought-trough There was a possibility to rent a guitar or yamaha synth. Breakfast in bed option. Our friends got it and it looked amazing.

The luggage room was full when we arrived but it was not a big deal for us :)

Staff was nice/polite/helpful. The hotel has a cool design/concept. The room was spacious, and fun. There were different pillows available. We found the bed quite comfortable. Also, we appreciated the coffee facilities and the complimentary water.

Breakfast was very expensive. The reason we did not even try it. There are better options right over the bridge, in Kreutzberg. There was no minibar in the room, just an empty small fridge - and the mini-shop at the reception had a non-functioning fridge for drinks. For that price and given that you have no mini bar in the room, I think they should at least be cold… Very expensive bar/cocktails, that were good but I would’t say mindblowing. Food at the restaurant not so great… Also - no/poor ventilation in the bathroom…

It‘s clean and valuable. A nice furnished hotel with a terrace at the Spree.

That you can‘t use the nice terrace at night anymore. We wanted to go out for having a drink and for smoking cigarettes shortly after 23:00 but we weren’t allowed. They told us it‘s because of the guests, so it‘s quiet outside. What nonsense when you hold concerts and parties in the lobby at the weekend, which you can hear from inside the hotel all the way upstairs. So I think there are other reasons why you are no longer allowed on the terrace at night. I stayed at this hotel about 6 years ago and you were still allowed to smoke a cigarette on the terrace at night.

A really nice, comfortable, clean hotel, great value and quite a good location. The gym and wellness area were great amenities, especially for the price, and the rooms were just great. The bar was a really great atmosphere too. Staff was excellent and friendly.

A few little things. I left a sign to not clean my room, but returned to the sign gone and the room cleaned, and they said it happens sometimes. My keycard was deactivated from being in my wallet, apparently, which has never happened to me before. But these were quick and easy fixes.
