I chose this hotel purely for its location; I could step off the train from Warsaw and enter into the hotel without leaving Ostbahnhof station, yet my room - on the 3rd floor, at the back, with a view of the roof of the platforms - was very quiet and peaceful . Another reason why I chose this hotel was because it was only an 11 minute walk to Berghain (techno was the purpose of my visit to Berlin). The staff were all very friendly and helpful, plus the station has supermarkets, a pharmacy and other shops, so I didn't have to go far for supplies. If you're coming to Berlin for a Berghain Klubnacht a) this hotel is a great location, and b) good luck getting in 🤞😋

I would definitely choose this hotel again, particularly if I was coming alone and for the same reason as this trip. If I was with my wife we would be looking for somewhere with more style. The rooms a little dated and plain, basic even perhaps, but it was absolutely fine for me. It could also be a little cheaper, that would be good (maybe I'm being greedy).

Fantastic hotel at a central location, right next to a train station. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Staff were really friendly and helpful - they were very happy to provide information about visiting nearby parks for running, and they dedicated their time giving me directions and suggestions.

Admittedly, although included in the room price, the internet connection was relatively slow - I'm not talking about streaming audio/video, but simply loading news websites etc. After some point I ended up using my mobile phone as a hotspot for my laptop.

Clean (although a bit basic, nothing luxurious) and affordable hotel, built just inside the train station -- and for this reason the transportation is extremely good, and there are also countless fast food restaurants in the close proximity, even on bank holidays (Rewe, McDonalds etc. etc.). 3 minutes (by train) from the city center (Alexanderplatz). The personnel is extremely polite, the hotel is neat and clean, very good price for the value. Perfect both for visitors of Uber Arena Berlin and also for families with small kids thanks to the great transportation and restaurant options. Btw. I usually have difficulties with sleeping in hotels, but in this hotel I had a good sleep! Unless you are looking for an expensive, luxurious wellness centrum, I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is a part of the buidling for the Ost Bahnhof. It is very central to many parts of Berlin where you may want to spend time as well as a short walk from the Uber Arena if you are attending an event there plus it is very easy to find. Everything was perfectly clean, the furniture a bit dated, but in perfect condition. I would certainly stay here again.

Due to the hotel being a part of the railway station, you will of course have people outside, who hang around such areas. I stayed on a Saturday night, left my windows closed during the night as I was on the first floor and could hear everything happening right downtairs, right outside, at the bus stop. Sunday morning when I opened my window for some fresh air, I could hear people outside, that were obviously still drunk from the night before, throwing up and could hear their attempted conversations. I would still stay here again - I just closed my windows again shortly after and the problem was solved.

Beds were comfortable although would have been nice to have choice of pillow as it was pretty soft. Room had everything you would need for a short break and was a decent size for two people. Bathroom was a good size aswell and the shower had great water pressure. The best part of the hotel was the location. It was right next to Ostbahnhof Station so very convenient for travelling using the U bahn and the S bahn. It was also a great price for the three nights we stayed. We were able to get a travel pass for our stay from reception once we had signed up to H rewards online. This was an added bonus and saved us quite a bit on train tickets

We weren't offered to get breakfast added when we checked in. Rooms could have been updated as felt in need of refurbishment

It was practically located in the same block as the metro/railway station and therefore it was ideal location for a trip in the middle of the winter season. There were plenty of places to get brewed coffee, food and groceries (the last two were below ground level).

The doors on the shower didn't stay closed so water spilled outside the cabinet. The dispenser with shower gel must have been nearly emtpy as it ran out after in the middle of the first shower. The container by the sink contained shampoo & conditioner, not the expecet soap/shower gel-like product. The TV-set didn't have an guest accessible HDMI connector for using my own device, which prevented the use of a larger screen. It had a USB type A-port on a cable, but I don't travel with archived media.

Located in Ostbahnhof, which offers you a lot of mobility. If you book through the hotel's own website, you will get a complimentary public transportation ticket as a gift. When you first arrive, you are directed to a computer kiosk for check-in, after you enter all your information and pay, the machine gives you your room key. The room was nice, clean, warm and noise-free. There is a kettle, tea/coffee and a complimentary bottle of water in the room. Breakfast is excellent with many delicious choices, spacious room. Alexanderplatz is very close: 2km on foot or 2 stops by train. There is a very big grocery store inside Ostbahnhoff which is open all the time and meets all your needs. The hotel neighborhood is quite safe for walking in the night.

Location, location, location. You are literally living on an S-Bahn which allows for the almost instant access to all of the city. Combine that with the free public transport ticket for the whole duration of the stay (you should definitely ask for it on the reception desk), and you’ve got a perfect match! And even though we were always 3 minutes away from the train, it was very quiet in the room. And on top of that there’s also daily room service. I’m blown away by the price/quality of this place.

Given that it’s a train station, the surrounding area is not perfect. But there was never really a time when it bothered us, because the walk from a train to your room literally takes 3 minutes. Another potential problem is that the room doesn’t have AC, and it sometimes gets pretty hot, even in May. But provided fan was solving this issue. Not sure if it would work as well during hotter summer months.

Spacious, clean room and bathroom. Fridge in main room which was very useful as breakfast was not included so I could buy my own food and keep it in the room; due to the excellent location there were 2 supermarkets within the Station complex and several places to get warm food too. Opening window; seems that there was no aircon but the room was warm enough and there was a pedestal fan (that I did not have to use).

Would have been good if there had been air conditioning; temperature was OK during my stay but if it had been during the summer or unseasonably hot, it could have been an issue. I also had issues with the wifi connection speed and stability - it kept dropping out on my laptop, meaning that I was unable to do some work stuff that I had hoped to do whilst I was away from home. My room had a view of an internal "courtyard", so nothing interesting to see.

The hotel is located right at Ostbahnhof Station, so instant access to S-bahn and RE trains. Also there were alot of bakeries and food places inside the station, aswell as Rewe and Penny markets in the underground level. Only 500 meters from the start of East Side Gallery. The hotel also offers a card with unlimited transport within ABC zones for the duration of your stay, which includes u-bahn, s-bahn and buses (you have to register online as h-rewards member before you get this).

The pillows should be replaced for better (normal) ones; the one's they have are of square shape and very soft..not very convenient for sleeping. Also the wifi is not the best and should be improved...
