The hotel is perfectly located in a commercial area with shopping centers, shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to metro and bus stations.

The receptionist who attended to us was not very friendly and they must notify the guests in advance that they must have 100 euros in cash that they ask for at reception as a guarantee. I did not receive this information from booking or from the hotel in any message or as conditions of accommodation, since it is a surprise that not all of us have cash on hand or at the time. I have been to many hotels in Germany and it is the first time that I have been charged 100 euros by Kaution.

The room was exceptionally spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. Its central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to various attractions and transportation links. The proximity to Zoo Station was particularly advantageous, allowing for quick and effortless travel across the city and beyond ( i.e. direct train to Tropical Island ). Overall, it was a fantastic place that offered both comfort and convenience in a prime location.

Noisy room - The bar and restaurant downstairs didn't bother us, as we are sound sleepers. However, it might be annoying for others, especially since there is no air conditioning and you have to keep the windows open at night to feel comfortable. The makeshift plumbing (yes, it's an old building) made the shower basin exceptionally high, so be careful when you get out! It's a much bigger step than you think!

The room and bathroom were really clean. The place was safe and quiet. The room had 2 cups 2 Tee bags,and 2 glasses, 2 ness cafes, 1 Tv, 1 safe, 1 slider wardrobe , a small fridge and a Queen size bed as I expected. The location was really good in downtown near Bus station and U-Bahn station. There are supermarkets near for food and drinks. About 10 minutes to the train station. There was a big waiting hall for people who came before the check in time.

The room was small and dark. The two windows had no effect and they were opening to a bad picture. The Tv had kinda problems and it was restarting by itself while watching movies or shows and the remote wasn't working sometimes.

The room was nicer than expected, and it was spacious for the price. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure.

We stayed for 2 nights and they didn’t clean our room throughout our stay, even though we put the “please clean the room” sign out front. Also, the soap they provided us ran out, and it was difficult to talk to the receptionist because they were on another floor (top floor) and there was no phone to connect us. They also had an elevator but the elevator stopped between the floors (because its an old building), so we had to climb up the stairs to get to the floor we wanted. But if you’re young/able bodied this is not a problem at all.

The elevator is small and old, and several stairs have to be climbed, including a narrow winding staircase. Not suited for mobility-inpaired travellers -- and for everyone else it is recommended to travel with light luggage. Some reviews mentioned that a cash deposit was asked for the room. This was NOT the case for us, so no problem here. However, bring cash as deposit if you need a parking space.

Very comfortable location if you come without the car - just 10-15 minutes by public transport to the central train station or first sight seeings. In general it is central but quiet. The rooms are quite simply equipped, but very clean and comfortable. There is a fridge and cattle with the tea/coffee options in the room which made our stay even more pleasant. All hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. And of course breakfasts make the stay just amazing! It saves time in the morning and the food is quite variable and tasty.

Hotel is located at the 4-5 floors of the building and the way from 4th to the 5th floor is with the narrow circular staircase. So can be not very comfortable for order people, but of course it is all written in the hotel description, which is rather fair.

This is a budget hotel, that does not pretend to be anything but just a budget hotel. Yet, it has an excellent location, the rooms are kept clean, and the breakfast is comparable to that in more expensive hotels. The building itself has a sort of pre-war atmosphere, even if the renovation appears to have been somewhat heavy-handed. A big plus for perfectly functioning internet. That is not a commonplace in Berlin hotels!

My single room had more wall height than floor surface, and the bed felt like it was roughly 50 cm wide. But again, this is what I paid for, and I suppose that the double or family rooms are bigger.

Comfortable rooms, easy check in, great location.

There’s this very German guy, seemingly in charge of the breakfast every day who takes his job extremely seriously. He WILL take your full cup of coffee from your hands at 11.02 because breakfast ends at 11.00, you knew the rules missy!

I stayed alone and answered end I was put in a room with three beds, they took up all the space in the small room and minus the atmosphere, meh.. I also wanted to leave my backpack for storage after checking out, but there isn't even a separate room for that, all the things are just dumped in the corner opposite the reception, and it's impossible to say that anyone even looked at them. I had to look for a locker myself in the city

We had a great stay at this place!! It is near Kaiser castle which was a great orientation point so it was really easy to find this hotel. We came quite later than we expected and there was already a crowd of people waiting to accomodate but within a few minutes we´ve got our room. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and worked fast, they even let us print some documents in their office which we really appreciated. The room was worth the money, it was enough for 2 nights...they even provided us with towels and toiletries which was really convenient. The location was the best - we had U-Bahn only a few minutes so if you want to explore the city I´d reccomend this place to stay.

If you are phisically impaired or simply find it difficult to climb stairs I would not reccomend as there is only 1 small elevator and sometimes you don´t get to use it if there are too many people. Also if you have trouble sleeping in noisy places also not a great option - at night and early in the morning a was woken up by people above/below us walking...I guess it is due the construction of the building but just consider it when you choose this place.
