Very nice hotel right in the heart of the Warehouse District of Hamburg. Handy for a lot of the main tourist sites, with either a short walk or a quick subway ride. It was also very quiet considering it was in quite a busy area. Handy car park attached to the hotel too with direct access to the reception area. Very good selection of foods for breakfast and a very good bar for those evening drinks with excellent attentive staff.

Only problem I found was you get a QR code to scan which gives you all the info you need about the hotel, very handy, but when I tried to book a table at the restaurant the web page that came up had no option that I could see, to translate it into English, so I gave up and walked into the city to eat. Not a major problem but something worth thinking about.

Fabulous location, right on the canal in the Speicherstadt and I had a lovely view out towards the nearby church as well. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful at check-in. Room was spacious, and I think the shower was the best I've ever used in a hotel!

The "air conditioning" unit would only let me adjust it by a couple of degrees (think 20°C was the lowest). In the day, I'd leave the windows open to cool it down naturally instead, but wanted them shut at night (early in the morning once the traffic on the main road started it was waking me up with windows open). One night I woke up sweating, to see the temperature was showing as 23°C - I assume the air con had reset itself perhaps?? At that point I had to throw the windows open and deal with the noise. Such a shame because otherwise the hotel was absolutely perfect!!

The rooms were very cozy and had a good and spacious layout. We also really enjoyed the restaurant area where breakfast was served and found the atmosphere very warm. Breakfast itself was fantastic, not crazy amounts of food but well selected and also good options for vegetarians. Coffee was very good too.

Probably the bar area. We went down for a drink but it was just lacking atmosphere and intimacy that was found everywhere else. Even the seating area next to the reception was cozier. It probably just needs a bit of attention, dim lights, a bit more mellow music to turn it around.

Great location. Walking distance to all of the city. The room was very well appointed, even though quite small. Great staff and great bar.

I expect a hotel of this quality to have a decent hairdryer in the room. This one was a flimsy travel hairdryer which kept overheating and cutting out. People rely on hotels having a decent hairdryer because they don't bring one with them due to weight restrictions on flights. It's a very small issue but needs to be said.

The location is great, there's a parking garage next to the hotel, and the staff is wonderful. We liked the buffet breakfast, and the hotel bar has great cocktails and food. The Italian restaurant that's also part of the hotel was very nice too.

The rooms are on the small side. And there's a smell outside of the hotel, that was quite pungent. Not sure what it was or where it came from. But bit seemed to be lingering around Speicherstadt, and especially strong around the hotel.

The property is in the Speicherstadt and is right on the waterway. The room was very nice inside with a large, comfortable bed, walk-in closet, and great view. The walk to the breakfast restaurant includes a section over the waterway that the tour boats traverse. The staff were helpful and found a free toiletry kit for an item I ran out of.

The room 502 is near the service elevator and I could hear the cleaning staff in the mid-morning going through the doorway to the guest hallway. I opened the door and looked out to see if someone had knocked on the door and then decided to ignore the sounds.

This place rocks! The location was perfect for us, there's a ton of things to see right within walking distance. The room that we had was very nicely furnished and had plenty of room and comfortable features. Although it's a bit expensive, it felt like it was justified. There was always someone at the front desk to ask questions and give directions, it just felt very high end. Again, we found the location to be very enchanting near the canals, with tons of restaurants within walking distance. The metro is also very close by and there is absolutely no problem getting around the town.

We liked everything!

Comfortable bed, good location (close to Elbphilharmonie and the new Westfield mall, miniature wonderland) and good breakfast options. The walkway between the hotel and the breakfast restaurant is beautiful.

I don’t have anything but I should ask for a large mattress in advance. My husband said that two small mattresses are common in Europe. Could have better signage for the breakfast restaurant (I seem to walk to wrong places after the breakfast)

The staff is exceptionally professional, efficient and kind. Location is well positioned to explore, primarily Speicherstadt but other parts of the city as well. Gym is small, but new, with a view on Speicherstadt canals. SPA are with relaxation room and sauna is clean and comfortable, two types of saunas finish and IR. Will stay with AMERON Hamburg again!

Nothing to explicitly point out. If needed to be picky the room temperature was initially a bit low, however was easy to regulate through AC heating

•Coffee cream/milk seemed not to be renewed on our arrival (the next day it was renewed). Also, we recognized that one of the sugar packages was open (left like that) in the kit. Maybe the coffee kit should be checked more regularly. •One bottle of water is never enough for two people. When we asked for the second one, it has been mentioned as it is a favor for that time which was not acceptable for a double room + especially with the coffee machine. For the third bottle, we are advised to buy a bottle then we bought a big one from the bar. •The sanitary bag was not refilled.
