We had a suite at the back of the property on the top floor so it was really quiet. The bed was huge and we slept really well. The Loccitane toiletries were lovely and we liked that they were in large bottles so better for the environment. The coffee machine was great and we used it everyday. It was a nice touch that the mini bar was complimentary on the first night.

Two points worth commenting on. 1) we went downstairs to use the sauna on our last morning to find it doesn't open til 1000 which felt unnecessarily late. 2) we were in room 432 (I think!) and the TV was on the side wall which meant we couldn't watch it from the bed, not a big deal but we did comment on this when checking out.

* It was a lovely stay in a heritage listed building with a great hospitality. We experienced the dialogue within art nouveau, art deco, modern features. We loved the beautiful reception area and burgundy stairs. * The reception team was very kind and welcoming. We were expecting a courier to the reception. They have taken the note and placed the package in the room after our arrival. * The room amenities were high quality and refilled rapidly. Thank you for the fresh water, also for coffee, tea & soft drinks. * Great thanks to the housekeeping! They were really good at what they are doing. Appreciated!🙏🏾 * The breakfast was nicely prepared with fresh & quality ingredients. The breakfast staff was very organized, polite and welcoming. They were making the breakfast experience smooth in every way.

- The room was quite spacious, comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen which we loved a lot. Maybe, a bluetooth speaker can be added to the room for escalating the experience more to create a homelike feeling. That's all I can say. Nothing negative tbh :)

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were kind and accommodating throughout our stay. The room itself was spacious, clean, and exceptionally comfortable especially the bed. It’s a great option for travelers with kids, thanks to practical amenities like a fully equipped kitchenette and a washing machine, which made a huge difference during our stay

The breakfast experience was underwhelming. There was limited variety, no natural daylight in the breakfast area, and no kids menu or child-friendly food options, surprising for a family-friendly property. It felt uninspired, especially considering it’s the first meal of the day. Adding more variety, a dedicated kids section, and even light background music could really uplift the overall experience.

The room stylish, big enough and comfortable. The kitchenette relatively well equipping. Hotel building amazing. Nice cosmetics in the bathroom, friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic location. All main attractions in walking distance.

Breakfast disappointing and not worth its price. Everything was fresh and tasted ok, but the choice was very limited. Only 3 warm selections, all egg-based, no fresh vegetables, very limited and similar choice of sweet snacks. In plus: freshly squeezed orange juice and good farmers butter. In the kitchenette only 2 elements were missing: a cutting board and bigger mugs. But bigger cup were delivered upon request.

Great location close to the city centre - very clean Staff friendly Short walk from the underground (Stadthausbrücke- Green S1 line - direct to/from the airport- 30 mins - sit in the carriage close to the driver as train splits) Spoilt for a wide range of cafe & restaurants (book at they are really busy) Ran in the morning - 8am - no issue running the short distance to the Alter lake area - lots of runners & cyclists- all navigating around each other Saturday- underground- 2 stops to the parkrun - get off Hallestrabe - short walk to cliff lakeside cafe for the start at 9am Felt safe, very relaxed - very busy - walked lots - just head off in different directions - nothing further than 30 mins walk

Restaurant expensive - didn’t eat there - shame as it looked really nice inside - if not empty as we passed on our way out to eat Steps to the entrance- not user friendly for anyone who can’t climb steps/heavy case/prams or wheelchair

Location, heritage of the building. Staff were brilliant and very helpful except for one incident. Rooms were very clean, large and comfortable. Excellent response time to emails prior to arrival.

Night of our arrival we were unable to get dinner or room service as they were ‘too busy’. Explained we had just flown in but told service was running late and the kitchen staff want to go home too! It was 8.30pm. Reception staff were fantastic in helping us navigate apps to order food in but it was honestly too hard as we were so tired. In the morning no vegan options for breakfast so ended up at Starbucks across the road which became our breakfast hang out for our stay.

Beautiful restored Art Nouveau building in an excellent location between the inner city and the Hafencity. We went to the Miniatur Wunderkand and to a concert at the Elphie, which are both in walking distance. Also great to have the U3 directly in front of the hotel entrance and the S-Bahn with the Stop Stadthausbrücke over the street.

Didn‘t like the reading lamps at the bed, as they were tricky to get out again, when you liked to have the light again. We used a little tea spoon. Also the lighting could have been a bit more and dimmable.

- Very close to S-Bahn and U-Bahn is right opposite. We used it for airport transfer and saved us a lot of money. We walked to the main attractions as well coz it is very central to everything. - We stayed twice here - once with St. Nikolai view, and once with canal view. Both exceptional. - Room is beautiful and quiet. - There are stairs leading up to the hotel. But they have a separate accessibility entrance for people with wheelchair. Let them know your requirements and staff is super helpful.

Staff was so un cooperative We booked through booking.com and we booked 2 rooms, we are family of 6, one room for 3 teen age girls and 1 room for me and my husband and 4 years old. We included the breakfast but when we were checking out she’s like breakfast wasn’t included, I told her how do u imagine booking the 2 rooms with 1 adult per room and u let us take 4 children with us. Also why u did not notify us at the time of breakfast that it will be paid, they were so arrogant rude and not cooperative. Did not like this at all.

I like that the hotel is in an old building, but despite the "historical gloss" everything is in very good condition! It's good that there is a minibar with water and soft drinks in the room, also the rooms are +/- spacious and there is space to comfortably put things, but there is a great lack of light, I would like the rooms to have panoramic windows!)) This time I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room: there was a yellow rough coating on the shower tray, there was black hair on the floor .. the rubber bands (water stoppers) on the shower doors fell off, there was a black coating in the sink. For breakfast, which cost 30€, there was bread, pastries, jam and butter, 2-3 types of fish, muesli, cheese and meat slices, you could order eggs (boiled, fried, omelette), which was included in the price, tea, coffee, juices and other drinks. In fact, I didn’t go hungry, but I didn’t enjoy the breakfast for 30€ either, the choice of products was meager, to put it mildly! In fact, it’s strange that there was fish for breakfast… A big plus is that there is a bellboy and a free minibar, a minus: there is no private parking area (you can only park on the street nearby, depending on your luck), there is no recreation area, lounge area where you can sit in the evening with a cup of tea, etc.
