Wonderful hotel, the room was super spacious, very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed: a big and very comfortable bed with many fluffy pillows, a fridge and a nespresso machine, a complementary bottle of water and complimentary nespresso capsules for the first morning, beautiful bathroom with spacious shower, great amenities (good quality shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, body lotion, toiletries and even mouthwash), very powerful water pressure, bathrobes and plenty of fluffy towels. Everything was super clean. We had a wonderful stay for a quite reasonable price and would favour this hotel next time we're in Hamburg.

The breakfast was not included in the reservation price and it was quite costly (way more than an average breakfast price). This being said, the breakfast was amazing, great variety of delicious food and plenty of everything.

Location excellent. Staff were very approachable and friendly. Good atmosphere in the lobby / bar area.

Bar closing at 23:30 is noot good for people who check in after a late flight to your city. This is really an unacceptable level of service. The safe in our room was locked when we arrived. this was rectified by a very helpful lady manager. Somebody had been in our room before we arrived. They had used the bathroom and a towel, leaving the towel on the sink area. They had also left a handwritten post-it on the desk. This wasn't a huge issue for us but it reflected a certain carelessness (to say the least) in your housekeeping function.

Great Stay with Excellent Service The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were always ready to help on every occasion, which made the stay even more enjoyable. On-site parking was very useful. I also appreciated the street view from the room—it was a nice bonus. The room was clean and maintained daily. I highly recommend taking one of the free tours (2–3 hours) around the city, port, or historic sites—they're a great way to discover more about the area.

Parking at the hotel was expensive

The location of the hotel is very close to the center which is very convenient. I wanted to applaud the staff at the reception (you are the stars!!!!). I arrived to the hotel very late and I lost my phone in the Taxi. The reception was calling the taxi company multiple times in the evening and then next morning. I had to go to the meeting and return to the hotel after lunch. The reception managed to retrieve my phone from the Taxi company!!!!!! I was so touched by their care! I was offered a drink to help me calm down. This is such a rare kindness these days!!!

The location of the hotel alone makes it a superb choice. Located on the most luxurious shopping street in the city, 300 metres from the Binnenalster lake and Jungfernstieg U and S-Bahn stations, and on the Grosse Bleichen, the border between the Altstadt and the Neustadt, it feels very central. The Rathaus is close by. Our standard room was comfortable, quiet, spacious (for its class), equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, and had a nice, if compact, bathroom. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. If returning to the city I would certainly stay here again.

Although the staff were perfectly friendly and helpful, the management system seemed somewhat bureaucratic, e.g. daily signing in for breakfast, and it was not explained in advance that the hotel would provisionally post an additional charge per night of 50 Euros to cover breakages or damage, which was not in the final charge, of course.

Location was great, right in the centre near the main shopping street. Breakfast for a 5-star hotel leaves room for more variety. The lady at the breakfast room was not quite suited for international tourists, not speaking German. Very comfy beds, pillows filled with feathers- not so much

Our room had a door for interconnection with another room. The guests in the other room, although not very noise, felt like they were located right in our room. That was unpleasant, especially when you had to listen to phone conversations in Greek till 2AM

Very friendly staff - reception, attentive restaurant/bar staff, good room service. Special thanks to Miguel on reception who sorted a problem with my mobile. Spacious room and good walk-in shower - which I had asked for. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice - fresh fruit, yogurts, seeds/oats, salads plus all the usual cooked food. Lunch and snacks reasonably priced. Very quiet in the room and good temperature. Windows that opened.

We liked the location and overall vibe. The breakfast was good and varied. Beds were comfortable.

Although a nice offering for breakfast, it was incredibly expensive. We had two rooms, one for my 90 year old Mother-in-law and at €30 for her have a cup of coffee and a brotchen (of course others would eat more) is just too much. We were offered a continental choice for a bit cheaper €25 I think?) but we didn't want to tell her she couldn't choose something else if she wanted it while our breakfast was strangely incl in our rate. Also, our room looked out on the trash bins.

Room was good but very surprising I have stayed at Marriott and Renaissance properties in Asia too where they give Complimentary water everyday but here they dint give. Also the pods for Nespresso machine I was told is chargeable. very strange. Breakfast as usual was excellent as I have stayed here before too.

Location was very good for us as it was only a short walk to the opera house. There was also a good range of restaurants and cafes in the area. Breakfast was substantial if somewhat expensive (though we did not eat much else the rest of the day!)

The music in the bar was too loud, especially after coming in after a show. One night it put us off going to the bar at all and on the second encouraged us to leave!
