Location is very good close to the train station city . The hotel is close to hotel is close to the road but NO noise thanks to their double or triple grazed windows 😀 Their breakfast is nice .and staff are very helpful.

Pillows stunk of sweat I was in ro 209 ( incase its the only room ) I had to buy 2pillows for my self as I couldn't afford another night with the hotel pillows..plse change pillows or throw away old ones every often

We had a 7 day stay at the Citadines Michel Hamburg. Fantastic location as a base to explore Hamburg. Very friendly staff on the reception desk will go out of their way to answer any questions you may have. If you can’t walk to where you want to go, there is a U Bahn and S Bahn station within 5 minutes walk which will take you all around the city. Room was comfortable with plenty of storage space. We didn’t use the small galley kitchen facilities but it’s good to know they are there if needed. We booked on a “Room Only” basis so can’t comment on the breakfast options. Several patisseries and coffee shops are in walking distance to help start your day.

To be honest the hotel and staff provided us with everything we could ask for to make our stay in Hamburg memorable.

The location was the top thing about this place. You can walk everywhere and that’s reason enough to return. There was a really busy street outside but there was air conditioning so we could keep the doors closed and it was really soundproof so we weren’t bothered by the traffic.

The breakfast wasn’t good at all and super expensive (19 euros). Don’t buy it. There’s many cafés and bakeries around, I would go there instead. The room and hotel in general had a bit of an impersonal and stiff ”vibe”. Not very cozy. The beds were quite hard. Room not as big as it looks in the picture. (We had the 26sqm one so a bit disappointing as we were two friends travelling and it seemed small). The lack of comfort and warmth together make it low value for money. Otherwise great.

44 m^2 apt. was perfect for our family! Location was great, within walkable distance to many places or easy transport otherwise. Water with and without gas, coffee and tea for free was a great plus!. Dish washer machine with all detergent included also helped. In general, the kitchen is well equipped and the fridge is large enough.

There is no daily cleaning service (at leas for our 3-night stay), but anyway this was not a great problem for us. We went down to the garbage disposal place inside the hotel, and just changed the garbage bag ourselves. You can also get extra towel if you want to change it.

We had a one-bedroom apartment, and it was very good. The facilities in the apartment were sufficient for our stay. The location is great, right beside a historic church, and it’s about a 20-25 minute walk to the central station and around 10 minutes to the harbor. The staff were friendly. Although we didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel, there’s a nice café nearby with good breakfast options at a lower price. The availability of coffee and tea 24/7 at the reception was also very handy.

Since we had an apartment with cooking facilities, it would have been helpful if basic cooking essentials like oil, salt, and pepper were left in the room from previous guests to avoid having to buy these general items. Additionally, we noticed that the sofa (a bed sofa) was not cleaned, although we didn’t use it.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The communal area with table football and tv ( the Euros were on at the time of our visit ) was very inviting, relaxed and comfortable. The free coffee and ice cold water was very civilised. One evening we tried the hotel's frozen food as we were too tired and hungry to even order food and it was excellent! The kitchen in our apartment was great as was the bathroom and separate toilet.

My only niggle which I managed to sort out was the air conditioning which didn't seem to function at all, luckily July has been awful so I slept on the very comfortable sofa bed with the windows open and it was nice and cool.

The location was perfect, you can go to the center and the port by walking. At the same time, it is very close to the S-bahn high-speed train line and the U-bahn metro line can also be reached. You can drink free water, tea and coffee during the day. We went in January but the heating was good and hot water was fine.

The breakfast was nice and varied, but the price per person was a little expensive. Other than that, there was no negative side, we liked it very much.

Great central location. Very nice staff, umbrellas provided on a rainy day. The room was clean, there were cutlery and pans in the kitchen too.

The only thing I didn't like were the soap and shampoos provided. They smelled absolutely awful and entirely too strong, I ended up buying my own soap to use in the washroom.

The apartment was super clean and had everything in it. Good location too. Friendly staff

We didn’t realise we had to book parking beforehand so were not able to park at hotel. We then had to park about 10-15 minutes walk away at a cost of €100 for 2 days 40 minutes. It was not clear on any communication beforehand this would cost so much - otherwise we would not have parked there. Do not park at Parkhaus Michel Garage - totally rip off pricing structure.

The hotel is near the harbour area and many popular sights, easy to get to using public transport. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was very lovely and helpful.

My room was facing the street, so it was a bit noisy. The dishwasher looked quite tired. I wouldn't have minded a bottle of water in the room, though I do know that there were some free drinks (coffee/tea) available in the lobby. My TV was randomly turned on a few times, which I believe was due to a remote used in a nearby room.
