Very nice good quality hotel: large comfortable room, nice large bed, A/C, free minibar, tea & coffee in the room, rain shower, fluffy towels. The location is perfect- walking distance to everything and yet surprisingly quiet. Also nice to have reasonably priced parking on site (with free charging for EVs).

Interaction with the hotel (email, phone and at reception) could be smoother. I received three standard emails from the property, but no response to the question I had sent. Check in took very long for no apparent reason, and the staff seemed both bored and overworked. And housekeeping tried to come in the room at 9 am even though check out is at 12.

Excellent hotel, very quiet although so close to everything from shops, restaurants and the many tourist venues which can be easily walked to. Our room was lovely but on our 2nd day we came back to the most awful smell, we went down to reception and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They firstly apologised then automatically gave us another room which they upgraded us and also gave us a voucher to use in the bar. The rooms are spacious and very clean and I love the free mini bar which gets replenished everyday. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again

The hotel is in the central location and the main attractions like the Cathedral, the Rheine river and the bridges as well as the railway station can be reached on foot. The check in process was fast and the staff was sociable and polite. Here I would like to give credit to the staff member Ms Alina Struve who favourably solved the problem we encountered. The room was spotless and the bathroom was big enough. The fridge with gratis juice, water and beer refilled each day was another plus. The breakfast was superb. A great choice of food for any taste.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was great. The bed were comfortable and the room was quiet. I was able to rest. The city is pretty flat so we walked everywhere and the location of the hotel was great. There's a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around. It's a 10-15min walk from the cathedral and other sightseeing points.

Nothing to point out

The size of the room and amenities included were fantastic with coffee provided and free access to the minibar which included alcoholic beverages, sparkling water and juice. The room was very clean and felt very high quality, as did the lobby. There is also a gym in the hotel. Plenty of eateries within 5-10 minutes walk. We were also able to walk to the centre of Cologne in 20 minutes.

There is underground parking underneath the hotel with flat rate of 29 euros which felt quite expensive.

The staff were helpful in allowing me to change rooms when I explained the heat in my room wasn't working. Taxi facilities right outside the hotel and if not, uber eats can deliver right to the lobby for you with no issues. Great central location close to cafes, restaurants, trams stations and the city centre.

I was only provided with sparkling water. A bottle of still would also have been helpful as I was unable to use the kettle.

Hotel was nice, beds were comfy, sauna area is nice and clean, plenty of towels/robes/slippers. Tea, apples and water provided. Our reception staff/check in guy was friendly and helpful (our friend checking in at the same time however got a very grumpy staff member). Free mini bar was water juice and only 1 beer. Close to shops and restaurants.

Parking was very very tight. We were told no need to book a spot, but when we got there, the carpark was extremely full so we had to squeeze into a spot beside a poorly parked guest. So I guess there are no guarantees you will actually get a spot on a weekend. And it was 29 euro for 1 night. The room was very very warm. We had to open the windows to let in cool air. The soap bottle was empty in the shower, only 1 robe was provided in the cupboard and only 1 beer in the fridge. Wellness area doesn't have any hot tub/pool. Otherwise nice for a night or two.

Clean and comfortable room with everything that is needed. kettle and tea/ coffee facilities. Mineral water provided. Mini fridge. Robe and slippers and little touches like mini nail files. We stayed Easter weekend and were greeted with a chocolate bunny and painted eggs outside the door. Good location about 5 minutes walk to the shops and about 12 minutes to the Cathedral and central train station

I loved the location. It is close to the centre and to the train station, so it is easy to get everywhere on foot. The room was nice and with a beautiful view on the Dome. It was clean and comfortable. I also loved the attitude of the staff - whoever I contacted were very friendly and helpful! I went to the lobby bar to have dinner and the food was just out of this world! I also loved the Lab12 cocktail bar, they serve very good cocktails. In the room there was a free minibar, bathrobe and slippers.

Though I am very happy with my stay and would return, there were three little things that need fixing: First, wifi is very sub standard. I would assume that a 4 star hotel must have a normal good quality wifi where you do not need to log in every day, especially when people come for work. Second, I wonder why the hotel does not provide hair conditioner in the bathroom. Third, everything looks a little dated, I had a feeling that the hotel hasn't been refurbished for quite a while. Nevertheless, I had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel has is very central very close to the shopping areas and the Dom. Parking on site ( for extra fee) Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym is very good and also they have a sauna and lounge area to stay and relax. They provide robe and sleepers. Frigobar with a bottle of beer and juice as complimentary and refilled every day. Also we had a kettle in the room. Bed is very comfortable. Good size room.

Breakfast was good but expensive.
