This is a great property with modern amenities and a lot of services making for an overall high class experience. For context, this was our second trip to Athen's, the first being a quick day long visit via a Mediterranean cruise two years ago. This second visit was the third part of our vacation having started with three days in Venice followed by a nine day cruise through Greece, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro. We spent 4 days at this property and as it turned out, this Hotel was a perfect staging area for touring the city and the rest of Greece. My wife and I take a major trip every two years and when we plan them, we pay very close attention to customer experience reviews. This hotel came very well recommended and those reviews were spot-on. We chose it for its location at the edge of the Plaka neighborhood, it's modernity, the available pool and spa, and the views from both the 10th floor restaurant and some of the available rooms. The amazing views of the Acropolis will forever be burned in my memory! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room service and early morning checkout experiences were highlights. The property is considered a major hotel so all the private tours we booked through Viator all had convenient pickup in the lobby. We also booked private airport and cruise port transfers directly through the Hotel which was extremely convenient. Don't hesitate to book this hotel as you will not be disappointed!

There was nothing we "didn't like" per se,, but I do have some minor critiques. Some light maintenance needs to be done in spots throughout the hotel. For example, when you went to press a button in the elevator, the whole control panel wanted to pop out of the wall. My wife and I were not partial to the evening restaurant food, thus the room service experience which was very positive. The 10th floor restaurant, while beautiful with tremendous views, got pretty warm what with the Summer heat...time to crank up the AC. We tried to get a full queen sized bed, but wound up settling for the two twins pushed together...common in Europe. We weren't used to this, but we made due, and it turned out to be O.K. As you can see, nothing at all "deal-breaking" here.

Everything at this Hotel is exceptional, the breakfast, dinner, view, drinks, the spa, the swimming pool. We did it all and it will be the hotel I will be coming back to. The staff go over and beyond, the location is wonderful but coming back to that view and hotel room! Perfect Stay and will be back.

This hotel is amazing: -centrally located and in walking distance to most tourist sites -modern hotel, with comfortable and spacious rooms, and lovely clean washrooms. -fantastic and friendly staff, who went out of their way to help us when a tour operator didn’t deliver. -a legendary breakfast. Seriously, the breakfast is phenomenal and the view of the acropolis was unmatched. I would book here exclusively when travelling to Athens. I understand why they regularly sell out.

The restaurant prices are a bit high if eating dinner at the hotel.

Breakfast was good with good service, coffee on time... The hotel is a street from the street shopping center; close from the ancient Agora and the Acropolis. Acropolis view from the breakfast restaurant with terrace possibility; you cannot ask for more in Athens.

Concierge and bellboys are doing deals with taxi drivers on your count. Ask for taxi meter. Also when I asked from the Concierge to keep a suitcase in their luggage room since I was coming back to the hotel for a couple of nights after a few days, he tried to charge me for an outside service.

Choice on offer for breakfast and the quality of the food was very good. Cleanliness of our room and hotel was of a high standard. Staff were very professional and helpful both in the restaurant, house keeping and reception.

On a sunny day we were allocated an outdoor seat for breakfast. It was very busy, so there was not much choice available. Next to our table there was a small wall with an ashtray placed on top, which encouraged smokers to congregate there. Having to breathe in second hand cigarette smoke at the breakfast table was very unpleasant. The location of our room faced the back of the hotel and we were frequently woken up with the noise of bottles being disposed of in the street below.

Rooftop restaurant was great for.both breakfast and cocktails in the evening with.great views of the Acropolis. Great location.

Staff at the reception wasn't really the most friendly. The room was rather small for the price point.

The staff were very friendly and professional, the location is perfect and within easy walking distance of the most popular places to visit and in very close proximity to the bustling area Plaka. The bar / restaurant is wonderful, a very comprehensive breakfast is on offer with the most wonderful, uninterrupted view of the Acropolis & Parthenon. Ensuite a decent size with a large walk in shower. Lovely fluffy towels!

Whilst our room was very comfortable and had a good-sized balcony with a table & 2 chairs (8th floor, looking onto the apartments opposite), it felt like it needed an update. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom so the condensation has caused damage to the woodwork. Very limited options on the TV.

Where do I start? The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prior to our arrival I’d read reviews stating you offered an avg continental breakfast. We’d like to say there was nothing avg about the breakfast we had & we plant to write that in our online review. We’ve stayed at other places while visiting Athens. Electra Metropolis will be our choice of hotels in the future. It also helps greatly when breakfast is included. The staff in the spa were very friendly, I had difficulty scheduling an appt with them prior to our arrival due to logistics. They reached out to me and I had an incoming call I could not miss. They booked us immediately upon arrival our first day there. Due to location, we were able to experience Athens on an entirely new level from our last visit.

It would be nice to offer a buzzer or receive a text from checkin staff notifying you when your room is ready. Other than that-nothing

The staff is brilliant, friendly and very helpful and makes up for all the nuances with the hotel premises. Location is very good, very good breakfasts 👌🏻

The hotel is quite modest in both the design and the interior. It basically lacks a luxury lobby area and gym is very small (6-7 people will already not fit inside).

The staff at the reception and throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room service was efficient, and the suite was spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Athens, making it easy to walk to major attractions and shops.

The breakfast was very basic and not up to the standard expected from a 5-star hotel at this price range. The indoor heated pool was very small, required a reservation, and was only available for children until 2:00 PM — plus the water was not warm enough. Regarding the rooms: I stayed in a suite on the 7th floor, which was very comfortable and clean, but the noise from outside was quite noticeable. Whether it was due to the central location or lack of proper soundproofing, I could hear traffic and street sounds clearly until late at night and from early morning, which was somewhat disturbing.
