Location convenience; transfer to airport etc And a bonus star is for the hiring of international staff that speaks Mandarin, and Malaysian staff eg Mr Kng very good helpful

No LARGE LED lite signage against the background of MarkCity, especially for new to Shibuya out of country travelers like us have no orientation to where is EXCEL against all others

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Shibuya, with direct access to JR and metro lines via a short walk or the overpass. Restaurants, cafés, and shops are just steps away, and we were lucky enough to have a partial view of the famous Shibuya Crossing from our room. Our room was surprisingly spacious for Tokyo, even with suitcases open, there was plenty of room to move around comfortably. A major plus is the airport limousine bus stop located inside the hotel, offering direct connections to both Haneda and Narita airports. Overall, one of the most convenient stays you’ll find in Shibuya!

Coin laundry facilities would be a welcome addition.

Location! Steps away from Shibuya scramble and the city train stations. Hotel is clean, well maintained, and welcoming. Room was great, good size and bed was comfy. We didn't hear any noise from outside even though it's a very busy area.

It can be hard to find the entrance the first time, it's on the ground level in center of the building with a small Blue Sign on wall with hotel name next to glass sliding doors, take elevator to 5th floor lobby. That entrance is near the Tokyo Food Show area, closest to the bus stops and taxi drop-off point, best I can describe it. 2 other ways to get to lobby but this is best way for 1st time.

The main floor of the hotel is spacious, airy, and open with multiple staff members ready to assist you. We did upgrade to a corner Shibuya Scramble view room that was perfect. The view was iconic and the room was spacious. There are too-many-to-count options for eating, shopping, and transportation within easy walking distance. It is a busy area so be prepared, but the hotel is an oasis.

The location is prefect for families with kids, well shelter direct access to subway stations.

Had requested for counter staff to assist in booking taxi to go a meet up location for attraction. She responded all fully booked and didn’t provide any alternatives even though I tried to explain that I need to be at that location early. I will need assistance but she claimed will assist and call back but nothing was heard again. Quite disappointed.

Great location, easy transfer to Shibuya station, and a great view of the Shibuya crossing from the lift lobby window! It was quite a busy location, but for our first trip to Tokyo it was great to be around the action. The room was clean and all facilities worked as expected, and there were coin laundry machines on our floor. Bed was a little on the firm side, but that was pretty standard in some Japan hotels.

This has been my go-to Shibuya property for years, it’s incredibly conveniently located right above Shibuya Mark City. There’s everything you need right outside the door, including the famous scramble crossing. Facility-wise it’s pretty standard fare, a business hotel that’s clean and equipped. There’s ice and vending machines on each floor. Elevators are fast. Polite staff. VERY foreigner friendly. I think a lot of tours must stay here. Their lobby bathroom has saved me many times. 👀

If you’re someone who uses uber / cabs a lot, this is a tough hotel to get a car from… because it’s in the middle of the busiest intersection on earth. It can be done, but you need to walk a little ways away from the chaos of the scramble to get a car to you in my experience. Also less a ding on the hotel as the area but they’re currently (6/2025) doing MASSIVE construction on Shibuya station rn so if you’re trying to use the Narita Express, or do anything involving baggage, just know you’re gonna want to really do your recon the day before as it’s pretty confusing right now to navigate. So with 50 pound bags, that’s something to seriously consider when staying here.

The location is probably the best in Tokyo, for those who knows, this is the prime spot for shopping, eating, and the ease of access to local subways, shinkansen, and bus rides.

While clean, I do not think the hotel has done anything to refresh the look of the rooms for the last 20 years. The rooms are well maintained and clean, so no complaints there. Just it has the same look since I've stayed there since 2005, and I have stayed there almost every year for work and leisure. However, it is a small issue since it is great for what it provides.

The hotel is attached to the metro station and this is great. It is very close to Shibuya crossing and there are many restaurants nearby. There was a wonderful market just outside the hotel. the room was spacious.

Lack of possibility to open the windows in the room. The breakfast was very limited in choices. perhaps the air conditioning system was set to a high temperature. it was quite hot to sleep at night. However overall it is a great hotel.

Nice property with a great location.

The room we booked was a view room, which I assumed was a view of the Shibuya Crossing, however the hotel has limited rooms with views of the Crossing. Suggest you make the description more accurate.
