Location was great: not in a busy, noisy area but very close to the Museumplein and walkable to everywhere else. It was across the street from a beautiful park and tucked in a lovely residential area. We paid for breakfast each morning as part of our stay and it was a great and convenient way to start each day. The staff at breakfast was exceptional and the offerings diverse and delicious. Our room was large and modern and very comfortable. We also had a second room for our adult children on the same floor and that worked out perfectly. Their room was lovely too.

The area where the hotel is located is excellent, in fact it gives you a sense of security and high standard. The area has some very nice restaurants and beautiful places to go for a walk. The hotel restaurant is very good for dinner and the bar makes very good cocktails.

Something that disappointed me a little was the service of the staff, especially at the main table. We asked multiple questions about recommendations and places to visit (since it was our first time in Amsterdam) and all the time it was that they don't know and once one of the staff told us, "google it" - this is definitely not good service. The breakfast, if not included and you have to pay for it is a bit overpriced - I recommend going to the bakery nearby and you get a better breakfast for a lower price.

A lovely, quiet hotel nearby the Vondelpark with a very friendly staff. A nice cozy and clean room and a good breakfast , also the restaurant was great in the evening.

The location and the beauty of the surroundings, the quietness of the area are wonderful.

Despite the environment being so quiet, the inside of the hotel is very noisy. Especially room number 330, which is opposite the cleaning room. It’s a very noisy, unlucky room. Constantly listening to cleaning sounds is disturbing. I spent most of my time in the room and was not happy

Nice rooms, well equipped and well provided with bath consumables. Good location in the calm area. I loved option of electronic check in and check out with Bluetooth key. Breakfast was decent.

Our price was 50% higher than the one that I saw the day after on booking for the next night - felt a bit too much (330 Euro) for the night. The elevator button to go down on our floor was not working so we had to go every time up before we could descend.

Everything it was clean safe good located

Outstanding location - superlative! A beautiful spot in the heart of the city and an easy number 2 tram ride to Central Stn/Dam Sq. Wonderful staff and customer care (THANK YOU ALL). Restaurant did a lovely dinner and the staff in there were lovely (thanks Torrie and Innes), but it was busy so we needed to reserve a table. A nice bed was provided for our dog. She was very comfortable. Breakfast was quite good.

Our room was a bit on the small side and there was no opening window, although the air-con worked fine. It was also very close to a well used road with nearby tram stops, so double glazing would have been nice! There were a couple of minor maintenance issues in the room itself. The bathroom door was extremely heavy/difficult for my wife to open. It says parking is offered on Booking.com, but it is not. The parking available is public, on street parking and costs around €60 per day, payable at the local machine.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed nightly drinks (and ice cream!) in the lounge area before going to bed and that was so lovely. The whole facility was clean and smelled nice....Our rooms were quiet and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It's a short walk to several tram stations - 4 to 7 minutes, depending on which one you need. We would definitely stay here again.

This wasn't a BAD thing by any means, but we didn't like that we needed our room keys to access the elevator - to go up and back down again (the stairs were right there with open access, so it didn't seem that the key card was necessary). It was just a pain. Other than that, no complaints at all! We truly loved our stay!

Comfy bed. Good bathroom. Good food. Friendly.

Minor point: loud and rather poor piped music in the bar area. A common fault of most establishments. If music is played at all, it is our opinion, it should be of a classical nature and at low volume.

Easy check in and out, quiet room with tv, panel for turning on lights, curtains, a/c, and heating. Decent pressure in the shower, and comfortable facilities. The mattress was excellent, and the sheets were the softest I've ever used in my life. The air conditioning was very comfortable and silent- also didn't blow uncomfortably on you so you could use it the whole time.

The smell of the hotel is pleasant but quite strong, the soap and shampoo is also the same smell. It wasn't my favourite scent, but not the worst. The breakfast was decent but overpriced for what was provided. The room came with a fridge, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't on. Water wasn't available in my room when I checked in (I checked in early, and it was a last minute booking so I'm not upset about it). The location isn't walking distance to much, but I still ended up walking a lot because it is such a stunning area.
