Our family recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at Das Grüne Hotel Zur post, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's charm and the quality of our two rooms. The rooms themselves were generously spacious, providing ample comfort for our family. Beyond the comfortable accommodations, the location of the hotel is truly excellent. One aspect of our stay that truly stood out was the great breakfast provided by the hotel. The selection was diverse, fresh, and delicious – a perfect start to each day. I would strongly suggest that all guests opt for the breakfast during their stay; it's well worth it!

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, easily reachable by public transportation from the old city. The Salzburg Pass works well for it. Kind and helpful staff. I love their focus on sustainability and 100% organic/bio! I wish more hotels were like that. I traveled with my family and liked that we could all be together, in a convenient two-bedroom suite. The breakfast spread was lovely, with a great variety of yummy foods and cappucino upon request. I particularly liked their fruit yogurts - they were bursting with flavor yet were not overly sweet like American yogurt.

We traveled during the recent heat wave: there were fans, but it was not enough and I had trouble sleeping; having a fan for each bed would have been helpful. But I imagine that during normal temperatures this is not an issue.

Excellent small hotel. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, all the amenities you need are available. Very friendly staff. Nice area of the city, easy accessible from the A1. Proximity to the downtown, the hotel offers for free bus tickets and the bus stop is just in front of the entrance. Breakfast is something you shouldn’t really miss! Nearly all goods come from local producers, the choice is enormous. We will definitely visit again if only will be on the way.

It’s not a big issue and the hotel definitely deserves 10/10, but parking could be included in the price - this is just the small parking spot on the courtyard, not the garage. But it’s also true, that one can park on the street nearby for free.

Staff were very co-operative, i was bit late for the checkout (usual time before 10pm, Received a call at 08:00 pm informed them i would be delayed by 10 to 15mins, they waited for me until i arrive and handover the keys and explained everything and helped to plan for my next day routine Location wise it is well located from the central Salzburg hbf station. Bus no:1 will stop right next to the hotel. The WC restrooms are huge, same size as that of the bedroom. BIO products through out, good :) The Guest Mobility Ticket for free was a happy surprise for us.

Breakfast is bit pricey, above my budget constraints, so did not opt for it. I have booked 1 week before my arrival, so felt the price is higher, Booking.com did not accept the Hotel taxes online. So i had to pay taxes at the time of checkout,

Well provisioned breakfast buffet and cappuccino upon request. Organic and healthy offerings. We loved and support the family owners in their effort for a green and sustainably approach to hospitality. It was great to see the efforts being made on PV, composting, bee keeping, and a well built structure. On a convenient bus line into the old city. The Salzburg Pass works for that. A good Gast Haus/Restaurant in walking distance nearby.

Street noise was bad for few hours. I read in onsite material that rooms are differentially priced based on the noise matter but I missed any nuance on that in the booking.com listing. Room provided with a fan which allowed window closure which cut down on noise. A very well built modern structure!

For families, this accommodation is a fantastic choice. We particularly appreciated the exceptionally comfortable beds and the comprehensive range of facilities available. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the car parking was easily accessible. The host went above and beyond, providing free bus tickets for city transport, which was incredibly helpful for exploring. Our overall experience was truly excellent."

Due to its location on the main road and the absence of air conditioning, opening windows for ventilation led to noise disruption. The broken bathroom shower was a considerable inconvenience during our stay. Additionally, we were disappointed that essential amenities like tea bags and water were not provided

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is very convenient, with a bus stop just a few minutes’ walk away, making it easy to get around. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious enough for our family and everything was clean, including the beds, which we really appreciated.

However, a couple of things could be improved. Some of the beds were a bit too soft for our liking, which affected the sleep quality. Also, having enough cups for everyone would definitely make things more comfortable. Lastly, while there are stairs to climb to access the room, they are wide and well-maintained, so not too much of an issue, but worth noting for anyone with mobility concerns.

Great location, there is a bus stop across the street that runs every 15 minutes to Old Town. The hotel staff will set you up with free transit passes. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Very quiet neighborhood

I probably didn't do enough research but I didn't realize that it is just 2 rooms, no kitchen, no living room. You have to go through the 2nd bedroom to use the bathroom and the bathroom has a semi-transparent door (why??). It's expensive, but I guess all of Salzburg is expensive. Parking is $10/day and really European (small spaces).

Location was very good, outside the city center still very well connected with bus stop right in front of the hotel (12 ride to the center and busses every 10 min). . Bikes could be rented if desired, parking was available for small price and it was possibke to charge electric vehicles. Bedroom was very comfortable for 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids, one of 2 years old). The top points go to the breakfast, excellent quality and variety. All bio, and options also for vegan. Staff super friendly and accomodating. Very recommended. If we go back to Salzburg we would definitely go back.

Family of 4, we just stayed at this hotel for 1 night on our way to our destination and everything we were looking for was just a random place to sleep over. We have picked this hotel since it did look nice in the pictures + the price was pretty fair in comparison to similar listings in Salzburg area. Hotel was amazing. We were on a daily chat with the staff since we were not sure if we're gonna make it before 10PM to do the check-in and they were really understanding and responsive. Room was amazing, spacious, clean, spotless. We had one big bed and one sofa bed, but I can't remember the time when sofa bed felt so comfy as the one in this hotel. Hotel offers a parking as well, which we also booked and overall, everything was amazing for the short period we stayed at this hotel.
