Breakfast was great if you like cakes and pastries for breakfast! maybe some more healthy options like more fruit and muesli would be welcome! The room was a good size the bed linen felt a little damp on arrival the first night but it had been raining all day, we asked for more blankets and it was all fine the next day after some sun and an airing. We loved the location, maybe a bit far if you want to go out to eat in town every night but it was only about a 20 minutes walk, we were recommended a few local restaurants that were still open close by as many had closed for the end of the season and both of those were great. It was a short walk up to the lighthouse and to watch the sunset from the cliff tops which was stunning.

It might have been nice to have a small bar, although we were given two bottles of wine when we arrived which were very nice. Also we were we were in a ground floor apartment and there was a lot of noise from the one above us. However, we would definitely visit again.

- The staff was very accommodating when we arrived helping to get us situated and comfortable. Later, the staff helped us book a taxi with ease, which was imperative since we were navigating a foreign country and foreign language. The staff also provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine (we had indicated it was our Honeymoon), which went above and beyond our expectations. As tourists who felt a little overwhelmed, the staff was very kind and accommodating, helping us get oriented and suggesting places to visit/eat. - The property and room itself was charming, quiet, clean, and welcoming. We instantly felt 'at home'. We were very impressed with the bathrooms - we had stayed at 2 other hotels during our trip to Portugal and this was the only bathroom that felt comfortable. Generally, it was romantic and charming. - The options in the included breakfast were vast and delicious. We will be returning to this town and certainly staying at this hotel, and will recommend it to our friends.

We had a great stay! The room was lovely and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Breakfast was excellent, with a large variety of delicious options to choose from each morning. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything you might need. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

If I had to mention one small downside, the pillows were a bit too big for my liking and not the most comfortable to sleep on. But honestly, that’s a very minor thing—everything else was perfect!

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The location was great in a quiet area but only about 20 mins walk from the main Lagos town. Some lovely beaches and restaurants nearby. We loved the more traditional look which is why we booked it. Lovely set up with a few different buildings and a few pools to choose from. Staff lovely and welcoming. Our room was great and a good size with a nice balcony. Free public parking around the hotel - when we first arrived took us a while to find a space but spaces freed up over the course of our stay. Breakfast was good a selection of things and a lovely breakfast room to eat in. Very chilled vibes which is what we wanted. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The only thing I would say is that there was a very slight drains smell we noticed a few times in the corridor but it didn’t impact our stay at all. We also didn’t notice the sign to say not to put toilet paper down the toilet (use bin instead) until our second day so would be useful to be told this on arrival by staff. Saw this was a common thing in the Algarve.

Very cute! As pretty as the photos show. Lovely room, bit rustic but no complaints, clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing, massive choice and all very tasty! Pool areas were clean, tidy and pretty! It’s a small, charming bed and breakfast, doesn’t have a huge amount of facilities but what they do, they do very well!!!! Staff were so helpful, great restaurant recommendations! Great location just outside the old town and close to the beach!

Bit rustic and strange design choices but wasn’t expecting luxury, exactly what we needed! Pool was not heated but I imagine in the middle of summer it doesn’t need it. No bar/anywhere to buy drinks but allowed to bring drinks around the pool and bar next door to get drinks.

Absolutely stunning property. Beautifully manicured gardens, clean pools and modern rooms with good amenities. Great location in a quiet area perfect if you're looking to unwind and relax. 25 min easy walk into the town and 10 min down to some of the most geography stunning beaches in Europe. But by far, what stands out were the breakfasts. Incredible flavors, selection and daily new varieties, lije nothing experienced in North America before. Go here, you won't regret it.

Nothing. Leaving broke my heart

Beautiful, clean, peaceful property. Ultra well kept common areas and villas. Spacious. Beautiful pools. Breakfast spread is a beautiful sight, all kinds of perfect, gourmet delicacies. Way more food and options than the average person would need or expect. It was lavish and a highlight of the day. Pool water is cold but refreshing. Staff is reserved but very helpful with information when asked.

It was a little hot in main bedroom and AC unit was a little difficult to figure out and get temp right.

Oh where to begin.. really warmly welcomed and shown to our room. To say that photos do not do it justice is an understatement. There was 10 to 12 rooms/ apartments in our block and you would never think it. Such privacy and quietness. Breakfast is not only a feast for the eyes but a feast for the belly too. Did I gain 3kg from breakfast alone? I did. Do I regret it? no It's a bit of a walk from town centre but really take the board walk in a enjoy the views.

Staff friendly, cleaning staff excellent , our room , nice decor was very roomy and well equipped ,linens and towels all high quality, breakfast had great selection and something for everyone. Lots of comfortable lounger chairs

Not too much we disliked , however , I feel a few things need improvement, eg. we had a main floor suite with steps to enter and for person with any kind of mobility, perhaps a small rail( it was 3-4 step up or down from our door ) would be really helpful. I have partial mobility, so with luggage etc this would be useful, also the pool next to breakfast area was totally not usable for me, if you have any kind of mobility issue, that ladder , it get in and out was terrible and dangerous therefore we could not use this pool at all, a step in method as the above deck pool would be ideal. This was really my only complaint.

Very polite staff. Our room was spacious, clean, had a huge bed and nice small terrace with a table and chairs. The two accessible pools are small but they do the job for this kind of stay. The breakfast dining area was great and the selection of food had something for everyone. The little homemade savoury pastries and fresh bread were delicious. The overall vibe of the place was much nicer than staying at one of the typical big hotels.
