Good location,excellent breakfast and very clean rooms

Need to inform guests rooftop bar not open every night when booking,toilets in the public area need to be checked and cleaned more regularly...had to inform twice about toilet in the lobby area.More zero alcohol options should be available...as is the norm with other such establishments...not just beer...zero gin/vodka etc .More security needed on floors when loud people returning...and more bar staff at the pool bar needed during peak times.Very over zealous staff at breakfast clearing plates when not even finished and sitting there without asking.

The property was in a great location - 5 minutes down to the marina or 5 minutes in the other direction up to the town with a small selection of more affordable restaurants. We stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Palma but stay outside of the city and this hotel was perfect - an easy 25 minute public bus ride into Palma. Our suite for 3 was spacious and modern with a sofa bed in the living area, two balconies and a separate twin room. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, light and airy, the pool was stunning and the rooftop bar was perfect for watching the sunset with a cocktail. Breakfast was fabulous with so much choice and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We were really impressed with everything and thought it was great value for money.

We had a lovely stay here, the hotel was very clean and bedroom huge! It’s an easy walk down to the harbour with great restaurants available. The pool area was great and the staff were very accommodating for my partner’s coeliac, going out to buy him gluten free beers for the bar! Would recommend!

The walls were a little thin so you could hear other guests some evenings, also the sunbeds get reserved really quickly so you have to be up early to get ones in the sun!

If I had to make some constructive criticism.... Entertainment was not the best for our age group...either DJ for the younger generation or a singer who sang 'old songs'- good for other age groups but maybe something for the middle age group...? Quiz's are popular....?

The beautiful port of Puerto Portals is a 6 min walk with great restaurants, lovely shops and a n amazing harbor. Palma de Mallorca is a 15 min cab ride in one direction and Madaluf a 15 min cab ride in the other direction. Quick access to both places was nice without having to stay in the middle of lots of tourists since we went in August. Several gorgeous beaches nearby made for fun beach days and after our 10 day stay, I would definitely go back to Tomir. The staff was very attentive and the rooms super clean.

The Tile floors are noisy so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with stylish and comfortable public areas and clean, well equipped bedrooms/studios. Great to have kitchenette in our room as well as separate bedroom area. Lovely swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers. Also a spa for massages and facials. Sumptuous breakfast buffet included in room rate. Delicious lunch, dinner and snacks in restaurant throughout the day. Rooftop bar opened while we were there and was gorgeous (-as were the cocktails!) Hotel was very well staffed - especially at breakfast. All staff including manager were so friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault them. We will definitely return.

The only negative things I can think of are that the air conditioning wasn't very powerful, especially in the bedroom; and that the peg for the main weights machine in the gym was broken. Neither of these things detracted from a wonderful stay though.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in, firstly the staff are exceptional, they are all friendly and so helpful. The breakfast is expansive and has something for everyone. The decor is modern and fresh. The rooms are spacious and clean, our junior suite has a big balcony that caught the sun till 4pm everyday. The location is perfect, a short walk to the beach (Playa Punta Portals), the village and the marina. The front of house team organised taxis for us to travel to Palma and Santa Ponca, these locations are easy to get to in a car. The food in the bar is delicious and service is always quick. The rooftop bar is stunning, has a great vibe and the staff work amazingly together; everything just runs so smoothly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return myself when I get the chance.

We loved our stay at the Tomir Portals Suites. We had a warm welcome when we arrived from Carmen on reception, she was exceptionally friendly and recommended a restaurant to us which we visited twice during our stay. We loved our room, it was clean and functional with a comfy bed and a great shower. The best bit was the breakfast, such a lovely selection everyday and different things brought out each morning. Excellent stay.

I only gave 4 stars rather that 5 on staff because a few members (older men on reception) were a bit grumpy but it didn't impact our stay at all.

Really great new property with excellent facilities. Many options for breakfast. Nice views from the room. Easy public transport as well as taxi services. Friendly reception and breakfast staff.

Some staffers could have done better. The waitstaff were very impatient despite one being unfamiliar with the menu. It was equally odd that when we booked the spa facilities, they were turned off when our group got in and only when we requested it to be turned on was this done.

We had a spacious room for 3 of us with the sofa bed in the L shape part of the room towards the balcony. The balcony overlooked the sea, so was a really lovely view. There was a handy clothes rack for drying wet swimwear on the balcony too. The breakfast was really excellent. There was a huge variety of fresh food, both hot & cold to choose from. You could pretty much have whatever you wanted and it was open for a lovely long period so no having to leap out of bed early to grab a quick bite. The pool area was packed with sunbeds where you could relax in the sun and take a dip in the sizeable pool. There was also a gym & spa but we didn't use those facilities. The bar had an extensive food and drinks menu, and everything we tried tasted good. We will definitely be going back!

We struggled to get a taxi on the Saturday lunch time of our stay. It wasn't the fault of the hotel that it didn't show but the male receptionist was a little "computer says no" when we were trying to order it and was quite surly when we asked him to check up on it. Really we'd have been best advised to wander down to the nearest taxi rank, which is what we eventually did and we got a cab quickly then. But as I say, not really the fault of the hotel. It was just a super busy day for taxi bookings!
