Fantastic Breakfast selection that really was 5 Star

Sat on a cabana sunbed and was told had to book these and another type of bed. Even worse they expected me to pay for it. Given already paid through the nose really disappointing they should do this. This degrading system is Not required as place was not even half full. Rooms look great but a lot of impractical elements.

Great service, very helpful and accommodating staff always trying to keep you happy and satisfied Location close to the beach Very fancy breakfasts and dinners. Good variety of food, à la carte option included Initially we booked a room with a sea side view, but because of not working AC, we’ve got an upgrade with a superior sea side view room, which was nicer.

The hotel has a very small area - basically only the swimming pool in front, comparing to the nearby hotel Lopesan Costa Meloneras. Drinks were not included in the dinner, even simply the water. It was also a bit annoying when we’ve been asked during the dinner several times how we are going to pay - cash or card - while still eating. The closest beach had a lot of stones in the water, not comfortable to swim at all. And if you want to go further where the beach is nicer, you have only two options with the sun beds - beach for nude people or gay.

Where do I start.. This holiday exceeded my expectations. Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 7 days for my birthday. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and great hospitality. We booked the unique deluxe room with sea view and the view of the beach was amazing. You could see the whole beach and shopping centre from our balcony. The beach is a 2 min walk from the hotel. Most of the excursions are also on the same beach so you won’t have travel and the shopping centre has lots of bars and restaurants so you won’t be bored at all. The rooms are a good size, very good WiFi, you can pretty much watch any programme of your choice, once your connected, if you have Prime/NOW TV etc You can also listen to music from Spotify which my boyfriend loved. The food/snacks choices were very nice, tasted very well. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Sara who was lovely, bubbly and so friendly. She was always interested in our stay and wanted to make sure we were having a good time. The entertainment was WOW, most of their live bands and singers were great and so entertaining. All I can say is I would highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to go back

More selection of food/snacks and drink choices for all inclusive. I wasn’t happy I wasn’t able to smoke on the balcony. I understand no smoking in the rooms but they should allow on balcony’s. The smoking area is too far to keep going up and down and should be a much bigger space with more chairs

Location -booked a room with sea view -excellent aspect: beach and lighthouse and sunsets…. Lovely staff -nothing too much trouble. Super breakfast. Very comfortable rooms and clean

Noisy nightclub on top floor -especially intrusive continuous thumping beat at weekend. Had to go inside- couldn’t read on balcony, even with noise -cancelling headphones.

We stayed in this hotel last year and while we had exceptional stay last year this year there were a few issues. Luckily the staff are still as lovely , so it was all sorted. Even though it didn’t go as smoothly as it did last year , it is still a great place to stay. Its location is perfect, the hotel is clean , great breakfast options.

I noticed on this stay how much longer it took to get service at breakfast and dinner. Also ordering drinks around the pool took a very long time. At our last stay our waters coffees and snacks in the room were automatically replenished w, this wasn’t done regularly this time and had to ask for this to be done. I think it was a very busy season and not enough staff this time round possibly but I think it let down how attentive it was. Hopefully that can be rectified as would love to visit again.

Amazing location. Staff service so spot on, being attentive and friendly but never intrusive. It felt personal. Design of decor generally and our room was so clever and effective - stunning. Fabulous views from breakfast/dining room and terrace. This is a "smaller" (still large) hotel option next door to the old lighthouse and lovely beach area....in contrast to the wider local area with its massive hotels/ developments which felt sterile. We were shocked there is no "old town" here.

Although really very good, w e felt the buffet elements of breakfast and dinner were trying to cover everything for everyone. We would have preferred less choice and maybe some things a bit better quality as a result. And save on the waste of unused food. Sustainability is important to me, and this shocked me.

- Very good location right on the Beach and right next to the Faro and Maspalomas - Superb breakfast with wide variety of fish, meat and excellent Cava and amazing view to the Ocean - Beautiful view from the room to the East to the Maspalomas with lovely sunrise experience - Parking place was reserved for our car during the stay - nice swimming pool area - very good room service - nice rooftop bar - Thank you for the birthday gift. (I had my birthday during our stay and the Hotel surprised me with delicious cake and a bottle of Cava. Thank you for your attentiveness)

- no iron in the room. It is really strange and not general that a 5* hotel does not keep iron in every room

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Faro. The hotel seemed to anticipate our needs every step of the way and we felt like we were treating ourselves to a luxe vacation. Welcome drinks at the front desk, a beautifully designed hotel and room, breakfast with lots of unique offerings, snacks and water in the room, and lots of little unexpected surprises. The location was just perfect, beautiful beach, we strolled the dunes, and being at an adults-only hotel was quiet and peaceful. Overall, it was such a relaxing and refreshing stay and we loved every moment. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The beds were a little hard for our taste, but we were able to swap to softer pillows by calling the front desk.

Everything! Hotel views and setting, staff are polite and helpful. Food is excellent, good quality and lots of variety. The restaurant terrace has a great view of the beach and promenade and perfect soft lighting. The entertainment is varied and a good choice. Not too loud! Room is comfortable and clean with plenty of storage space and hangers. Sun loungers are comfortable and you can ask for an extra towel to use as a pillow. Pool staff always on hand to help with umbrellas.

Not major issues, but: When the hotel got busy it took a long time to get the attention of staff for a drink order round the pool. Would have preferred not to have the maids trolley parked in the corridor outside our hotel door every day. I asked for a softer pillow in person at reception. The member of staff wrote the room and details down on a pad. My pillow never arrived to my room. Perhaps offer two different types in the room to start with rather than 4 very firm pillows.

Great location - on the ocean with a beach Great meals, Very comfortable and a nice sea view from the room The staff was great, especially Daniel Ruth, the Guest Experience Manager, who was extremely nice, helped me upon arrival, and drove me to the conference I attended. all the other staff were extremely nice as well.

I reserved a room for one week with breakfast and dinner. As I was invited for dinner outside the hotel I requested to cancel two dinners in advance. They refuse, I can understand refusal to cancel one day stay, but not dinner which is prepared for a big croud.
