It was a mother-daughter trip. My child is 2 years old and it was a perfect place to stay. There are all the facilities to make your life during the holidays simple. In the middle of January, we enjoyed the sun and swimming pools in the area of the hotel! We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel's canteen - a lot of food choice. Minidisco with animators 6 days a week after the dinner for little ones! If you want to stay at the hotel during the day, you can go to the playground area where there are animators organizing activities for kids. Moreover, the hotel is located at 5-10 minutes walk-distance from a supermarket and the beach. You can walk with a buggy everywhere without problems.

Love this hotel. Great rooms, pools, food and branded drinks for AI. My 3rd stay here and I’ll be back again. Staff are lovely, especially Salem the waiter in the adults only dining room. I used to visit twice a year with my children (since 2010) when it was the Don Paco. Salem has worked there since then and always remembers me when I visit, greeting me like an old friend.

Everything was amazing, the pools, food, the rooms were unreal. It was such a lovely stay for a first family holiday with our 11 month old. Perfect

I can’t fault a thing

The room was very nice. Clean and comfortable. The kids splash park was also great. The buffet was varied and well prepared.

The swimming pools were extremely busy. Sunbed wars at its best. It was very frustrating that all the beds were gone by 8.30 with no one sitting on them until 10am. The hotel made no attempt to improve the situation even though some people were reserving beds in multiple areas. I also found the all inclusive package confusing. When we booked all inclusive plus was not offered as an option so in standard all inclusive not all things are included and you may have to pay a surcharge.

The hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly. It was my fiancés' birthday and they gave him a complimentary bottle of prosecco. There were 3 pools for variety. We enjoyed the adults only pool for some peace and quiet. We hired one of the Bali beds for the day which was great. We had our own private little hut and it included a bottle of cava and a fruit platter. The room was great with plenty of space, the balcony in particular was a nice touch. The buffet was great too. We went for the all inclusive option. Sometimes the food felt repetitive, however, there were plenty of options. I like that they offered themed nights to offer variety. There was also a nice outdoor eating area which we enjoyed in the evenings. There were additional restaurants in the hotel, however, they were not a part of the all inclusive package. There was plenty of entertainment on offer, especially handy if you have children. We also enjoyed the snack bar which was available late morning until the late afternoon. There was no shortage of food and drinks. The location of the hotel was great. About a 10 minute drive to the airport. Only a 5 minute walk down to some shops and restaurants and the beach. Was about a 10 minute drive to the old town of Puerta del Carmen.

The air-con in the room was controlled by the hotel, which was very inconvenient at night as it was quite hot and felt like it had been turned off, we were not able to change the temperature setting on the panel. The mini fridge was also not very cold. The bathroom had a strange design. The toilet and shower had their own glass doors, however, there was no main door to the bathroom which did not provide any privacy, this also meant that there was no way to block the morning sunlight through the window. Every morning we were woken up early due to this. We ended up having to try and hang a towel up. The Wi-Fi in the room was also very patchy.

The location of the property is perfect short walk to the beach and near restaurants and shops. The property was spotless clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. The rooms are lovely and spotless clean. Different pool areas for whatever suits you I.e adults only, lively family pool or a quieter family pool and the splash pool for kids too. The food was lovely in the restaurants good quality, all inclusive can be repetitive but you will always find something to eat. All the staff in this hotel worked extremely hard and are always so friendly.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like

As a solo traveller, I was well looked after. All inclusive really means all inclusive. Choice of bars and pools. Also ‘adult only’ pool and bar. Food was great, lots of choice every day and every meal. Could always find something, even as a fussy eater. Rooms were very comfortable with good air con. A coffee machine and kettle were nice treats! Balcony and 2 sun loungers and 2 chairs and a table, so space for spending the afternoon there if you wanted. Staff spoke good English even though there were a lot of other nationalities there as guests. The staff couldn’t be more helpful.

Beautiful place, spotlessly clean, buffet food was the best I’ve ever experienced and always tasty, I looked forward to my meals! Nice touch that the resident manager was in the two restaurants each mealtime overseeing things. Not seen that before. Lovely bedroom very large, I requested a top floor room and was pleased I got one. Bed the absolute best, more comfortable than mine at home. Entertainment fabulous. A great base to stay, and I loved it, and planning a return in January. Highly recommended - and I’m fussy!

I appreciate it’s a family hotel and not adults only, but there were too many pre-school children there at the time of my stay which made it noisy at times. Luckily there were two buffet restaurants, one for families and those that don’t mind excited children and another for adults only. Apart from that I did not dislike anything else.

Loved the staff everyone was so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing and fresh every night having the shows on every night they were so entertaining and made us laugh and was incredible. From the animation team to the waiters, to the cleaners and everyone who works there did an amazing job. The beds were so comfy the rooms were spacious. The hotel was so clean the pools were perfect.

The shows in the bar and the shows in the theater start at the same time which was annoying because both were so talented and we wanted to see both shows, the pool was slightly cold but kinda normal for this time of the year but maybe just put up like 2 degrees higher

Calm friendly accommodating. Location perfect for us.perfect holiday.
