Paton Resort was centrally located, just off Bangla Road. It was also in close proximity to Paton beach. However, the resorts enclosure provided a tranquil and relaxing environment within its pictures setting. The hotels staff were professionally diligent in their daily duties and tasks. They were very courteous and are a credit to the management and owners of the Patong Resort.

Unfortunately there does not appear to be a strategy in place to manage the worst excesses of guest habitual behaviour. On a daily basis some guest would, “before breakfast” secure and reserve sun loungers around the main pool by placing their towels on them. Most of these sun loungers would remain unused for several hours before the towel owners returned unperturbed to use the loungers. This habitual practice is observable to all and is totally unacceptable as others guest are denied the opportunity to use the vacant sun loungers. Staff must be empowered to remove towels from unused sun loungers as the selfish behaviour of some guests becomes learnt, internalised and practiced by new arriving guest: ultimately, everyone one will suffer including the hotels reputational image.

Stayed in a low-rise, traditional style room, clean bathroom with bath and effective air-conditioning. Excellent wifi. Appreciated umbrellas in our room as we experienced heavy rain at times. Also appreciate notice on glass balcony doors to say keep doors closed as mosquitos will enter your room (at night). Welcoming and attentive staff. Observed lots of cleaning happening in common areas. Particularly well maintained grounds with kids club cute areas to appeal to children. Best feature at breakfast were cooked to order eggs. Good opportunity to try Asian dishes available. Relaxing environment around rear pool.

Many properties are being renovated at Patong at the moment including Jungceylong Shopping Centre. Would be timely to build a pedestrian only over the roadway bridge around that area sometime soon as crossing that busy main road can be difficult.

The proximity to tourist attractions and convenient access to public transportation made my stay even more enjoyable and convenient. Overall, my stay at your hotel was fantastic, and I will never forget the excellent service and hospitality I received. I am delighted with the whole hotel, A very nice welcome when I arrived. Room well located near the swimming pool. Very pleasant dining room for breakfast and very varied and abundant breakfast. 2 swimming pools including 1 with a bar plus the jacuzzi. Very beautiful gardens. And this hotel is very well located in the center of Patong; close to the beach and busy streets

Location handy to every. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Smiling We enjoyed the upgrade of room choice. We like the ground floor is best for us. The pool was close to our room. The other patrons while we stayed at Patong Resort we're friendly and extended invitations to have dinner and drinks. We had a lovely time enjoying different people from different countries. Will be back again.

Close proximity to everthing. X2 beautiful swimming pools and jacuzzi. Breakfast was good. Room was good size and nice balcony. Nice AC in the room for good temperature. I have stayed here before and defnitely hope to stay there again in the future.

Room was close to Bangla road and a bit of noise at night, but not too bad

We asked for a room upgrade as the "Superior" room was pretty naff! We were given a "De-Luxe" room in the main hotel which was far better. So in your description tyou need to differentiate between a superior and a de luxe room a bit better! There were two pools, the main one adjacent to the hotel was little used possibly because it was not in the sun most of the day which suited a lot of people because the sun is very intense, however there were only a few sun beds and more were needed. The breakfast spread catered for may nationalities and was adequate without being special.

The Superior room we had booked was pretty basic, and the porters told us it was due to be redecorated, we asked for a better room which reception were kind to do and did not charge us for the better room. I would suggest your description of Superior is changed to "Basic"

The Breakfast Buffet had great selection of food. The Pools were clean with great service offered for Dining and beverages. The location has always been superior to most other hotels. Security is excellent.

I prefer a Pool view room with elevation so I can open the Balcony Door to get fresh air, when I sleep but this time my room was a ground floor garden view room which if you leave the door open you got Mosquitoes through the open door which is warned by the hotel on the door.
