The grounds, pools, and overall facilities were very nice.

There was pool repair/maintenance being conducted which included 2 straight, entire, days of jackhammering while we were staying at the hotel. The other 2 days were disturbed by continuous hammering stonework. This made the leisure time by the pool, massage services, meals, etc. impossible. I realize maintenance must be completed, but this was not an emergency repair and must have been planned in advance. While the staff was apologetic, had we been previously notified of the impending work, we probably would have relocated to another, more relaxing hotel.

Location and facitlies as you would expect. We only stopped for two nights, but it met all of our expectations. You should definitely head out to the right of the hotel for little and local reaturants for food. We did venture down to the fisherman's village, but we found it too mainstream. I'm not saying avoid as the area is well catered and has lovely reaturants with a busy vibe.

The only thing is that the beach is lovely, but the water is smelly along this stretch. It has a weird silt like on the floor, and as you walk in it, it feels slimy and, when disturbed, release an unpleasant smell.

The pool and restaurant is excellent. The food was exceptional (better than some restaurants we went to). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I loved the area by the beach where you can relax and look at the beautiful view with the soft chairs and sand. I also love that its pet friendly. The dog area is so nice. I would stay here again as it is affordable.

The beach is not that clean. There are a lot of nicer beaches on the island. The bike rental is expensive and the lady running it is not very friendly.

We have stayed here early March for the past few years as a short break from living in Bangkok. The Ibis is a great value for money hotel and the staff and facilities are hard to beat. Pool and garden areas are well maintained and the small rooms are clean and comfortable. Its a steady 30 minute walk into Fishermans Village or there are a few bars and restaurants closer on the main road.

The only thing i would say if there is anything, is that I always request a garden view room upon booking. On the past 2 stays when checking in I was told that there were no garden view rooms available but when asking if it was possible to have one the helpful reception staff have always found me a vacant room with my requested view.

Lovely location. Lots of space. Nice pools. Lovely staff. Good breakfast.

Didn't like the elevator music being constantly played. It's not necessary to play it. The sound of the waves are much more pleasant to listen to! In the evening some nice chilled cafe del mar vibes would be much more preferable to the European travellers. The elevator music is our worst kind of music so please consider changing this!I was slightly disappointed by the sea view just because of the design of the room - the window wasn't very big.

Our stay at this charming hotel in the Bophut area of Koh Samui was truly enjoyable. Even though we opted out of the breakfast option, we still had an amazing time. The pool was beautiful and refreshing, and the staff were always friendly and attentive. The location is a little off the main tourist spots, but it’s easily manageable with a quick tuk-tuk or scooter ride – which actually made it feel more peaceful and relaxing. Overall, a wonderful experience. We absolutely look forward to coming back on our next visit to Koh Samui!

Great Hotel in Bophut, Koh Samui – Would Definitely Return! We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in the Bophut area of Koh Samui. We chose to stay without breakfast, and still thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The pool was fantastic, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. While the hotel is a bit removed from the main central areas, it’s nothing that can’t be easily solved with a quick tuk-tuk ride or a scooter. Overall, a great experience – and without a doubt, we would love to come back again!

The facility is beautiful. It feels very relaxing at the poolside and on the beach. Away from the hubbub of the street outside. The staff was friendly.

The room was tiny -- everything maximized for space constrictions, but I would have liked more room to put my stuff, sit down and write, and just have room to move around. And although there are 2 chairs on the balcony, it's so small you can't actually put both of the chairs out, they just have to be stacked on top of each other.

The staff were very friendly and could not be more helpful. The beach/ pool area were in a private area so we got peace all day every day. The location was also excellent as it was only a ten minute walk to the Fisherman’s Village.

The hotel room was full of dust and there was not much cleaning took place during my two week stay. There is a policy that no sun beds are allowed to be reserved, however this is not enforced and as a result I ended up being assaulted by a family who, despite there being absolutely nothing on the sun bed I was on when I first got there, they were adamant that it was their sun bed and all three thought it appropriate to abuse me.
