The room, the pool, breakfast and all the staff were amazing. It’s the best place we’ve stayed in Thailand out of 7 different hotels.

The only downside is location, you’ll need a scooter to move around but that’s a general condition for the whole island. Gran and Volt are expensive here.

The facilities of the resort are great - Bar / Restuarant setting with the Coconut trees overlooking the beach, Infinity Pool with plenty of sun chairs and two large massage areas, and the second pool which is right outside (two steps) the room's back door decking. The main infinity pool area also has good, clean toilet and shower facilitates. The beach is a short flight of stairs away. The place manages to create a very chilled vibe. The rooms are plenty big enough for a couple / two people, and is kept very clean. Pool / Beach towels are also provided and changed regularly. The bed is big and comfortable. All the staff are sensational, from reception to the Restuarant / Bar and the housekeeping crew, all friendly and helpful. - Special mention to Ti, Aon and Tia - only because we can't remember all the other names. The included breakfast, and the Restaurant / Bar service throughout the day to dinner, is also very good in terms of quality. Price wise it is comparable to the restaurants / cafes in the towns (Chaweng, Lamai, Fisherman's Village). There are also a host of other eatery options in walking distance nearby - most are on the beachfront. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy Koh Samui. We will definitely be back.

Just a few minor points for improvement / to note. One, our shower did not clear / drain water very well. Not sure why, but there seemed to be plug in the drain - perhaps to filter it, but it prevented the water from clearing efficiently. Second, a few more hooks or towel stand in the room would be helpful to hang wet towels. Finally - while the location on the beach is great, it is about a 15 minute walk to the main road and shops via an unsealed road. Having a bike or car is handy to access the towns but Grab Cars / Taxis work well also.

We loved our stay at the Flow and enjoyed every minute of it. Clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and restaurant served good quality food and drink.

The hotel is beautiful.Nice touch with some ice cream when arriving . Lovely views to the sea. We had the poolroom with seaview. If you book this roomtype, keep in mind that the sun never reaches to the sunbeds. So it is not for sunbathing. Just to relax and swim. Some sweet treats every night and some soap and earplugs, eye masks provided. When we were there it rained almost the whole stay, so it was of course a bit disappointing, also because there are not many shops or restaurants very close by. One very good one just in the neighbor though, the Treehouse. Strongly recommend. Otherwise You have to take a grab, because the street to the hotel is very poor, not in good condition and it's very dark in the evening. Food and drinks were good, pool in the evening was beautifully lit. Breakfast was ok, you can choose your eggs, and if you like asian food in the morning, they have it. Some bread, some veggies, yoghurt, a few fruits but the sweet pastries are not worth it. The bed a bit hard for my liking. So got a little backpain. Shower pressure quite low, for washing long hair. There is not much happening in the area. So if you like your peace, it's here.

Amazing hotel directly at the clean public beach, big and spacious room with own access to pool, delicious breakfast with a good variety of asian and western food, in room towels, beach towels and bathrobe with slippers are provided as was water and small candy in the evening. Very attentive and friendly staff who tries to accomodate all wishes. Cooperation with a scooter-rental nearby which delievers the scooter directly to the hotel. Close to a grocery store and some massage/nail salons; fisherman village is a 7minutes ride with the scooter. We had the most wonderful stay at The Flow and will for sure come back!

The hotel is perfect for a romantic holiday so maybe not the best choice for families but being there with a child was no problem at all! If you’re looking for kids entertainment and such this might not be the place to look at.

We stayed in an Ocean Flow (beachfront) room and would highly recommend both the room and The Flow Samui. The room was spacious, with a big firm bed, huge circular bathtub, small sofa overlooking the beach and multiple places to store/place our belongings. The infinity room pool was wonderful, with a lovely view across the sea and down the beach. It was also quiet - there was a baby in one of the adjoining ocean rooms and we weren’t disturbed by noise at all. The Flow has lots of nice small touches to make your stay special, including daily bath bombs and a sweet treat left with the evening turn down service. The resort is small, with the shared facilities consisting of the lobby/reception area, restaurant, and pool area. Both the restaurant and pool overlook the beach, and being away from the main tourist beaches it’s both beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant food is delicious (the grilled fish with red curry sauce was a highlight), and the next place along the beach also has great food with only a short walk. We really appreciated the staff at The Flow, they were all lovely, helpful, genuine people who made our trip extra wonderful - we would go back for the staff alone.

Really nice staff, great and clean room and nice food and drinks. The price in the restaurant was good for a hotel and also the in room dining. Good drinks as well. And great breakfast. We had our small son with us and the staff did everything to make his stay good as well. Especially Krit who carried him around and entertained him.

We came at Easter and there were a lot of noisy Israeli guests, when they left it became quiet again. We came off season I think, and they renovated some rooms, sadly one of them was next to ours which was a bit noisy during the day. It wouldn’t have been a problem if our son didn’t nap in there. We didn’t try to change rooms. Overall the resort was quiet and intimate. The beach was murky and not something we used

The person(s) behind the building of this resort and the architect deserve a big thumbs up because its a very clever little resort. The Flow is small but perfectly formed. The pools are amazing, 2 of 3 are infinity pools above the beach. The public areas are nicely styled, largely neutral colours and calming. The walkways are edged in hedges and small gardens. Just enough green to ensure the resort feels tropical while limiting green maintenance costs ensuring the focus is on the views, pools and rooms. MaeNom is a swimable beach, 5km long, with deep golden sand mostly (small areas of small rocks). We walked its length. Approximately one third of the beach front remains undeveloped. There was some rubbish on the beach but in the scheme of things it wasnt too bad. For what its worth looking in on the other beach front resorts i think The Flow rates at the top of all the options if you want a small intimate elegant resort. The resort is down a short road from the main round island road, which, in that area, seems to be lined mostly with light industrial local places and the odd restaurant. The distance from the road means the the resort is quiet. We stayed in an ocean front room with direct access to the infinity pool above the beach which runs across and is for the sole use of the 5 or 6 ocean front rooms. The room felt secure and was largely private. Each of the toilet and shower were in a separate small room and there was a huge tub to the rear of the bed. The room decor is neutral and soothing. The entire resort is clean and well maintained. We ate breakfast two days and the options were extensive and generally good (more fruit choices please). We ate dinner in house one night and the food was good, albeit portion size was on the small side.

We generally liked everything but this was the most expensive place we stayed so we had high exlectations... Suggestions for improvements... 1. Rooms need towel racks or rails; 2. Sun loungers elevated above the ground would ensure lounger mats dried faster (so dont smell); 3. The quality of the resort sofas are inconsistent with the general standard of the resort (suggest upgrade); and 4. Give consideration to providing guests with more than two bottles of water per day.

The BEST hotel we have ever stayed in. Absolutely loved everything about it. The views were amazing, food was delicious, facilities were great, everything we needed. Our room blew us away, we wanted to spend so much time in the hotel because it was so nice. Staff were extremely friendly, helped us with everything we needed. We were able to hire a bike through reception which made it so easy for us to get about. We really didn’t want to leave. I’d come back again without a second thought.

Never had such an outstanding expérience in a hotel. Rooms are clean, modern and confortable with a direct access to a shared pool. What a pleasure to wake up and swim directly from your Room. Location is amazing, close to a beautiful and quiet Beach ! You will have some amazing sunsets ♥️ And what about the entire Staff ? Lovely, nice and dedicated to your pure confort. It's definetely the Best Hotel I ever went in my life. Thanks for all. Ema & Daniel
