It's a 10-minute stroll to the ICC, and a 15-minute stroll to Taksim Square. The food in the restaurant was well thought out and good value for a 5-star hotel. When sitting outside for food, friendly cats wander around and Shisha is available for a leisurely sit by the pool. The rooms were spacious, the beds large, the shower facilities excellent, and everything was clean. The room was cleaned daily, and water and snacks were replenished.

Everything was handled very well. The only small inconvenience was the first night the aircon didn't work in my room; after mentioning this to reception the next morning, it was fixed and operational by the time I returned to my room later in the day.

Great value for money

There was a wedding near the pool on Saturday night - with the very loud music until midnight. It was impossible to get asleep eveen with the ear plugs

The experience was truly incredible. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is by far the friendliest staff I have ever encountered- everyone was so kind and helpful that it's hard to put into words. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff-the cleaning lady did an amazing job! We were traveling with a 6-month-old baby, so you can imagine the mess, but every time we came back, the room looked spotless. The bathroom was also large and very clean. The outdoor pool is fantastic-very big and surrounded by a beautiful garden, making it a perfect spot to relax. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul!

Outstanding Stay at Grand Hyatt Istanbul – Highly Recommended! We spent 5 wonderful nights at the Grand Hyatt Istanbul and were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our stay. The hotel itself is impeccably clean — both the rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standard. The housekeeping team deserves special praise for their attention to detail. Our room was spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. One of the true highlights was the warm and professional service. Every staff member we interacted with was polite and eager to help. A special mention goes to Media at the front desk, who was incredibly welcoming and made our check-in experience smooth and pleasant. She was always ready to assist with any request during our stay — truly an asset to the hotel! The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality items, from fresh fruits and pastries to made-to-order omelets. The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous. The location is perfect — quiet and green, yet just a short walk or ride away from Taksim Square and other major attractions. It's a great base for exploring both the modern and historical parts of the city. The outdoor area with the pool and garden is beautifully designed and very relaxing. The poolside service could be improved — it sometimes took longer than expected to get drinks or food. This is a minor issue in an otherwise flawless experience.

+The hotel is located in close proximity to Taksim Square +About 100m from the hotel is one of the central subway stations +Due to the central location, many sights can be explored on foot. +/-large, beautiful and bright rooms. However, the hotel is already getting old and could use a renovation in some places

*The hotel generally has a great outdoor area, but... ...weddings sometimes take place on weekends, which means there is limited use of the pool area. ...the cleanliness of the pool sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. -Although there actually seems to be enough staff, hardly anyone took care of used glasses, plastic waste or plates in the pool area during our stay. Improvements could be made relatively quickly here.

The breakfast is excellent with alot of options available every morning. I loved their omelets, fresh fruits and freshly squeezed juices. The hotel was conveniently located to the Swiss Hotel where I had my meetings. I was so happy to find a fruit arrangement and a message from the person in charge of the rooms personally welcoming me to the hotel The person who prepared my room also left me a note saying that they enjoyed preparing my room for me. Thank you to the valets for always arranging a taxi for me with a smile This made me feel very welcome.

Not all the staff knew how to speak English particularly in the dinning area which was a slight challenge but eventually someone else would come to my aid.

Great swimming pool, great gym, good breakfast, great idea with club on eighth floor if you additionally pay for it. Nice bed soft pillows, nice view no noise, no noise from mosques

The shower is too small - there is a big bath but too small shower. A little walk to metro, wet sauna shall be better

Everything was ok, the room, the staff (special mention for Mr. Murat the porter), the food, the location... The parking in the undergroud garage (very accessible and wide with free spaces - unlike others, for a few euros per day) was very good, with no "parking stress" typical for Istanbul. Room price was reasonable and we paid a small extra for a room upgrade including VIP access, breakfast, daily snacks and refreshments, evening meals and drinks. Probably the best choice of international hotel in the Taksim area, quality and value-for-money-wise.
