The cleanliness was superb, I was welcomed by the staff with a warmth and the manager Ms. Bahadir was so kind and helpful with any needs I may require. The staff was able to fulfill those. The food was also delicious ( during my stay I ordered room service) and also supplied extra bubble bath for my room when requested. The bath tub in my room was exactly what I expected but better so I was very pleased with what I had booked. The executive room was very comfortable had a nice view of the city without obstruction, at the end of my stay I said my goodbyes and for the first of my travels felt I had the best stay at a hotel ever. Everyone was wonderful. I do highly recommend them if you are visiting Istanbul, their attention to detail and to make your stay the best is what they strive to do. :)

I had a wonderful experience staying at Lionel Hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was relaxing and welcoming. The facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt organized and professional. A special mention goes to Elif and Sona at the reception. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist with every request made me feel truly valued as a guest.

Good facilities and services. Breakfast buffet has multitude of variety with hot food being served. Most of the staff were pleasant to deal with. Security manager Ismail was exceptional. He deserves a promotion and pay rise. Relationship manager Zara was also good. We had the right size room for a family. Modern structure from inside and well lit. Kids enjoyed swimming pool. I am glad that its accessible to family.

Minor things like outside windows were not cleaned until end of our stay. Nice views from our room. Also, few staff were being ignorant or typical of cultural attitude but majority were amazing. Carpets had stains but not a major drama for us.

Staying at the Lionel Hotel shifted my experience in Istanbul completely — from chaotic to calm. The stylish comfort, warm service, and peaceful atmosphere helped me recharge and reconnect with myself and my family.The staff is absolutely great, especially supervisor Koray and Sona who helped me a lot with my easy booking,such a warm welcome and booking fun activities for my trip🙏 In addition, the spa is very clean and nice.It comes with sauna,pool,hammam and a lot of various massages.

Nothing to complain about

From a warm welcome at the Reception to my last day meeting the guest relations, the experience was simply exceptional. From the decor to amenities, everything was clearly well thought through with a special touch of greatness. The hotel provides a healthy breakfast with lots to choose from, the wine - well choose the Sarafin Chardonnay you will thank me. No words can fully describe my amazing experience so far.

The breakfast was exceptional. Kaan and his team were amazing. The gym was also good although the personal trainers stay in their office and don’t organise the weights😂 the cleaners are absolutely amazing and some of the most hard working people - the rooms are always next very clean

The location is a little removed for sightseeing but this is expected for the price

Sauna Turkish Bath Spa Pool Fittnes its under the other company of the hotel, it closed a little early at 10:20, and it was not something Wow, moderately clean and a little old, the hotel was excellent

The gym was great alongside the sauna and steam room facilities (separate ones for women as well!) The room was great and was cleaned really well each day. The staff are especially helpful especially Ekrem who went above and beyond every day to help us with things to do and looking after our needs. The food selection for breakfast is also high quality and pleasant.

In line with other reviews, I think this hotel could be better located but saying that, it is only a 200-300 lira t trip to get to places like the blue mosque so the taxis are quite cheap but add up. The only other thing I didn’t like is that the pool seemed to be quite busy with swimming lessons for children being run for what felt like almost all the time!
