This property is so cute! Love the retro decor and thoughtful touches in the room such as a kettlebell, full kitchen setup with fridge, microwave and cups with Brita water pitcher, and ponchos to wear to the pool. Coffee available in the lobby in the morning.

Pool was a bit strange, only 1-1.5 ft deep and quite dirty, along with all the poolside seating. Area definitely needs a good cleanup! Also, loud (but good) music plays in the central courtyard area even late at night and early in the morning, which didn’t necessarily bother me, but could be a problem for some guests - they do warn about this on the website.

This place is great! So much fun, there were activities almost every night in the outdoor space. The restaurant is to die for! Unbelievable food and drink. Ask the bartender to make something different for you, it will be magic!

I feel like it was really pricey for what you get. It’s a very kitschy, themed place which makes it a lot of fun, but the nightly charge doesn’t include parking, which is an extra $15/day. I stayed for a total of 14 nights and it was well over $3,000. Also, the restaurant, while seriously fantastic was also very pricey. For two of us with dinner and one virgin drink each, it was over $150. Not unheard of, but not what I expected from a resident motel restaurant.

It was in a good location for my needs. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. and shower worked fine. The rooms and hotel in general are 'long in the tooth' but decorated in a funky retro look that made it fun to be there. The front desk was a window but they had good beer available at all times. The house restaurant, Chilte, was excellent but pricey. There is a MacDonald's down the street but I wouldn't recommend going there. I was expecting it to be noisy at night based on other reviews and the ear plugs they provide bedside but it wasn't noisy at all during my stay. My room was on the second floor. Downtown Phoenix has a big gap in hotels priced from $90 for sketchy motels to $300+ for name brands. This was somewhere in the middle and a little pricey for what it was but I would stay there again.

Really hip and comfy hotel in downtown Phoenix, with a lovely patio/garden area lined with a bar and food truck ,as well as the restaurant Chilte (seemingly very popular, though we didn't eat there). About a 5-10 minute walk to some cafes and restaurants, though you may prefer to drive given the ample parking and not-so-nice neighborhood for walking. Excellent coffee in the morning.

Our heater stopped working at around 9pm even though it looked brand new. A coffee/tea maker in the room would be a nice addition. We would've used that more than the giant fridge and microwave!

Very modern and stylish room, which resulted in a very comfortable stay. Great restaurant on site serving lovely food with passionate staff. Perfect for a pitstop en route further east.

The aircon was quite noisy compared to other places we've stayed. We parked on the street to avoid $15 per night charge for parking on site, luckily there was a space available right outside. Lights didn't appear to work in the room with the exception of one lamp. No complimentary tea/coffee etc on offer.

The staff here is probably the number one thing I'm going to recommend they are amazing people! In my opinion you could stay tonight so tell like this and have s***** employees and it will ruin the entire experience. I am blind so I change to see the nastier side of customer service representatives and instead here at the Egyptian motor hotel I had nothing but kindness laughter and friendship. This hotel is not of everything from privacy drapes around your patio to foosball tables out in the public area You could honestly have a vacation and never leave the hotel they have their own restaurant they have their own live venue stage if you could think of something that you want on vacation they probably have it right there without ever stepping off the premises

The only thing that I didn't love was that while I was there they did not have conditioner and my hair goes down to my hips but honestly with everything else being so perfect I'm already planning my next trip I'll just make sure to pack my own shampoo and conditioner lol

The room was comfortable, well equipped. It has a big refrigerator, microwave and good fornitura. And the decoración is original. The patio in front of the rooms is very attractive; most interesting. The staff was nice.

Incredibly, I stayed four nights and they were unable to fix (maybe just change batteries) the safe box. Also, the TV control did not work. Maintainence seems to be very bad, which is sad because the place is very good. At night, It is hard to find the hotel entrance.

No breakfast included, but they had bagels to buy! The pool was very shallow but worked to cool off in. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room so I'd recommend to buy breakfast before arrival.

Our room had glass from a broken glass or similar from previous guests, so the cleaning was a bit under par. However, when we pointed this out the staff really took care of us and we got a discount on the room which felt fair. I would stay here again.

The room was great, the bar and pool were cool. Within walking distance to some good please to eat and drink. Good price compared to many other places in downtown Phoenix.

Check in/out was strange. The office is attached to a busy restaurant, and having no idea who works where made check in a bit awkward. The out door area was a bit abandoned during our stay, felt slightly more like a photo opportunity than a comfortable place to hang out.

The outdoor space is great. The room has a fun ambience.

Check in is a bit wonky, even though I noted we were going to get in later, at 8:45. It took a while to find someone and took a long time to actually get our keys. Restaurant wasn't open and there's not much around. No one was hanging out, which was why I booked the hotel. Apparently I expected too much from a Monday. The room was fine, cute and kitschy but some things are not practical for this day in age, like the outlet boxes across the room from the bed and I thought it was odd there were only 2 room type options, king or bunk beds.
