I loved the location for a Disneyland race. It’s located super convenient to the start line. The facilities were great value - I love that they were pet friendly so nobody got left behind! I like how it felt closer to an Airbnb where there was dishwashing soap and a microwave and a scrubbing brush and plenty of trash cans so you could take care of the place as you went along. I liked the space and separate bedroom and large bathroom. I liked the dove bathroom products because it felt like home.

Recommend they stock feminine hygiene products in their mini mart in the lobby.

The room appeared clean and the staff was friendly & was able to accommodate requests. The free parking promotion was also greatly appreciated!

The rooms have guest doors that slam (i.e., they don’t gently close), so it was impossible to take a nap in the afternoon or sleep-in with doors constantly slamming. The shower tub was draining slowly and causing a pool of water several inches deep to form; it seemed odd to me that the housekeeping staff would not have noticed this and reported to the maintenance team, instead of a guest having to experiencing it and report it themselves (the front desk person did appreciate me letting them know and seemed to take it seriously).

The location was excellent, conveniently located near key attractions and amenities, making it easy to move around the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with well-maintained rooms and common areas that made for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist where needed, which added to the positive experience. Additionally, the price was very reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and accommodations provided.

Rooms could use a bit of an update to improve on esthetics

Room is quite spacious, and the kitchenette was well equipped: big fridge, big microwave, 2-pit stove, dishwasher, good assortment of pots and pans. We also liked the complementary laundry facilities (washer, dryer). (do bring your own detergent, or buy it in the shop). It is a 1.5km walk towards the entrance of the Disney parks, which in our experience was doable!

The room was quite noisy. If you have noisy neighbours (for example with "heavy feet"), this can be disturbing.

The queen suite with one bedroom is the best. A queen suite by itself is a very nice room but it does not have a separate bedroom and does not have a sofa. It does have a recliner which is a nice bonus but I like the feeling and comfort of a suite with a bedroom. The bed is very comfortable and I slept great. The kitchen had everything needed to make a simple meal and even had a toaster for morning breakfast! The staff is exceptional. They are pleasant, always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Big bonus: the hotel is very close to Disneyland and I could watch the nightly fireworks from my room! That was awesome!

I changed rooms at one point (I had a longer stay). One room was larger and was very, very clean. The second room was beginning to show some minor signs of wear and I hope that they pay attention to keeping all rooms at the same high standard because they really are very nice rooms with everything that you could possibly want. I would encourage them (actually, all hotels) to add ”no vaping” specifically to the “no smoking” posted everywhere. I smelled it several times during my stay. Front desk staff were very responsive but it is not always easy to figure out which room is vaping.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Only issue was, I booked the hotel through Boooking.com and they never responded to my request to check in early on the next day. I booked an extra day early so I can check in early the next day and they canceled my booking because I didn’t show up on the actual day. The female desk clerk was able to call the manager and put us back on the reservation which was wonderful. I didn’t get her name, but I’d like to thank her for that!

The location is perfect for walking around and visiting the Anaheim Garden Walk (would recommend for shopping and restaurants, and it is quite lively at night). The staff were so lovely, always polite and having fun with us! The room was plenty big enough and had a perfect setup with a small kitchenette. There is an ART bus stop directly outside the hotel, so perfect for getting to and from Disneyland/California Adventure - Easy Peasy (and Lyft drivers will pull up right outside the door if you prefer)!

It is a bit rundown (bathtub needed reglazing, some of the furniture was scratched and chipped, rugs looked a bit worn out, etc), but not too bad. We found the bed linens to be freshly cleaned but found the bathroom to be a bit dirty (not disgusting, just not sanitized-type of clean).

The one bedroom suite was lovely and spacious and had all amenities required for a longer stay such as a kitchen and full fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker etc. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The staff very extremely friendly and helpful. The free washers and dryers in the laundry room were very much appreciated.

The pull out sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable, thankfully we only had a small 5 year old sleeping on it but an adult would struggle. The pool was small but nice but could definitely have done with being heated as it was freezing.

We love staying at Candlewood Suites. Having a kitchenette is essential for our young allergy family and we love the extra space of the 1 bedroom suites. It's great being able to put our toddler to bed and still have room to relax. It's an easy walk to Disneyland - or you can easily walk into the Toy Story parking lot and take the shuttle, bypassing the lengthy security line at the main entrance by going through security before getting onto the shuffle (this is only during peak times). The staff are always very friendly and we always feel welcome.

The room could have been cleaner, but it wasn't horrible!

Nice proximity to Disney. CLEAN! LOVED that they use Dove products in bathroom. Wife passed by the laundry room and saw that they were actually cleaning the sheets. Minor wear and tear in the room but no biggie at all. TV had premium movie channels which made up for not being a smart tv and able to use Netflix. Usually stay at the Sheraton but this may be our new place. Lastly, dog friendly which is exactly what we needed.
