The breakfast was good for the most part! However, the chicken for the chicken and waffles was a little dry and could have been a little better. I loved the variety of choices for the breakfast and that it was an actually hot breakfast and not a continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very comfortable, safe, and relaxing.

I don’t really like the location not that the location wasn’t nice and clean it just was away from the main attractions of Boston. I did not like that there is a $75 damage charge per night, which can be expensive. The manager did waive that fee for me thank God but I think it is unneccessary to charge that fee upfront. It should be charged when you check out if there is any damages to the room.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was great. Pool was nice as well. Walking distance to many great restaurants.

Valet parking for $60 was the only option available. Was not mentioned before reservations were made.

Since the hotel is located in the Seaport disctrict, we could take the silver line train straight from the airport (it's free!) and had about a 10 minute walk left with our luggage to the hotel. You can walk into town or take this silver line train to South station. Or a local bus that stops right in front and takes you downtown, which runs frequently during weekdays, not so often in weekends. We woke up 3 nights with the view of a different cruise ship out our window, nice! There's not much in the direct location of the hotel but the walk into town is quite nice and takes you along some restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good enough for what we need in the morning with apples, cereal, some hot items, waffles, muffins and toast. There are 2 breakfast locations, which is great when the morning rush arrives. The lobby is quite nice, with different corners and TV's, even to sit in the evening. We ate our dinner there 2 nights and used the microwave to heat our storebought meals (due to jet lag). It wasn't cheap but since Boston is crazy expensive, I think it was one of the better choices in our price range. We would stay here again if the rates were about the same (or preferably a little less!).

The swimming pool is quite small for a hotel this big. Maybe add a jacuzzi?

Cleaniness of the rooms is always a huge component to us and they were very clean and well maintained. I REALLY appreciated that the mattresses had mattress covers on them to keep away bed bugs from travelers. Huge plus! Breakfast was pretty good and the staff helping with service were all very nice and helpful. My son has a banana allergy and Lupita was so nice to open a new box of muffins so there was no cross contamination. The pool area was nice but very small.

We didn't like that there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel. Since the hotel is so far from any restaurants it made it difficult to grab a quick meal on the days when it was over 100°. Front Desk staff was ok, but some could have been nicer. I appreciate the safety of each room but there are some safety lights in each room that blinked a white light all night long which was distracting while sleeping. Maybe a red light would be a better option. It was so great to find a washer and dryer on our floor since it wasn't advertised on the website, but it needed better instructions on how to use it and some way of purchasing detergent. I asked the front desk and they were nice enough to give me a tide pod to do a small load.

Clean hotel and clean rooms, breakfast included, typical breakfast...Rooms were comfy and clean..pool and fitness center also clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. hotel was upkept with newer rooms.

The parking was $60 a night, even for hotel guests, kinda pricy when staying there. The breakfast was ok, it was nothing special, just your pre made breakfast.. coffee stinks, the entire time there.. Location is an industrial area, really close to the convention center, so you cant really get out and walk anywhere, you need a car to drive to tourist attractions.

The breakfast was wonderful and was only second to the hotel professionals. From the gentlemen who valet park cars with a smile in the brisk cold air, to the women and men who work inside of the hotel, I was pleased with the personable yet professional service. What I loved the most were various books lining the bookshelves with comfy cozy chairs in front of the television screens, so it makes for a nice gathering space for family and friends to chat it up if they want to get out of their rooms.

Extremely limited parking, so you're better off just paying for valet service although I do believe $60 is too much to pay per day. The location makes for limited shopping.

One of the best Hampton Inn that I've stayed. The port and maritime theme deco was absolutely stunning as well as the overall condition of the accommodations. Definitely recommended.

It could have better parking rates for the guests of the hotel.

The hot breakfast was great and included some sort of eggs (omelet, scrambled), potatoes (hashbrowns, spicy potatoes), and a meat (sausage, ham), waffles, cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt. The rooms were clean, the front desk workers were friendly, and it was everything we could have expected for the price. The pool was not particularly special (no hot tub) but our kids (7-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son) absolutely loved having the pool to end a long day exploring Boston.

The only downside is that it is far enough from downtown that we really couldn't return to the hotel room to change clothes (kids are notorious for getting dirty/to grab warmer clothing, etc.) because of the time it would take to get there. It really only took up to 20 minutes to get there from downtown (depending on the time of day/traffic), so it was about a 40 minutes out of our day if we needed to return for anything. However, being prepared to leaving in the morning and return in the evening made the location very ideal.

The staff here were very helpful especially the lovely African American lady with long braids who was working the weekend of 26th April each evening/night. I did not catch her name but she helped me with a delivery of food that was incorrect on our first night after a very long trip to Boston. The rest of the staff were also very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bit chaotic especially on the weekend. However, on the Monday we stayed, I found the quality of the food was better and also the hotel was obviously not as crowded. The room was spacious and they did place us in a quiet area of the hotel as requested. My bed was a little uncomfortable and soft and the mattress probably needs to be changed. I slept at the edge of the bed because of this but since our room was so quiet, I decided against asking to switch rooms in case we ended up in a busier area of the hotel. Short walk into the city but not much around in the way of stores etc. I would stay again if I come back to Boston and the biggest reason is the lovely people who work there.
