The location is perfect. It's close to US-50 to easily get to Tahoe and yet it's still in the city so there's good food nearby. The rooms were comfy as well. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which is great! All in all, it was very well worth the money.

I don't love that the first floor is a casino, but I feel like a Nevada hotel without a casino doesn't exist. Also, the bathrooms were outdated and the shower was leaky, HOWEVER, they are currently remodeling so I expect this to be fixed soon. If you're reading this review 6 months from now, take that with a grain of salt.

Everyone was nice. It was super easy to check in. They had free parking, free drink vouchers, and discounts at the restaurant. Everything we needed was located at the hotel like: a decent sized casino, live music on Friday and Saturday night, good drinks at the bar, and a Black Bear diner for breakfast.

The fridge in one of our rooms seemed to be leaking, so we had to deal with a wet floor. There is no pool. Also, the shower in our bathroom was so powerful, and we had trouble adjusting the angle, so it sprayed water all over the bathroom floor every time we showered.

As always the facilities were great. We usually stay there when we travel 2-3 times a year for soccer tournaments. Staff is always super friendly and it is located the perfect distance from Dutch Bros coffee and the soccer field. ⚽️

My only comments are that I wish the Black Bear Diner opened a little earlier than 7am. And there seemed to be someone constantly smoking Marijuana in the halls. Normally I wouldn't care, but I was traveling with children, so this was not ideal.

I liked the central location of the hotel walking distance to Downtown Carson City but easy 15 minute driving distance to Lake Tahoe too. The staff also fulfilled my request to get me a room on the top floor, and had their maintenance man respond super quickly when I accidentally locked myself out of my room.

That the entry is a smokey casino(will do more of my research going forward on my room though)

The staff is extremely friendly and happy, we enjoyed our stay here. The Black Bear Diner has some really fantastic breakfast, the beds are comfy and the TV channels are expansive, and the casino slot machines are fun to play.

Not much the hotel can do to solve this, but the cigarette smoke from the casino bothered our kids, again this is not an easy solution for the hotel to solve, but one thing we did not like. Overall a great stay!!

Very clean and smelled great. I love how they give you coupons during ur stay. My family absolutely loved the pizza from the snack bar. We had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was so amazing we decided to get another regular pepperoni and the best pizzas. Cute casino and live band on Saturday. The location is perfect. You can walk just down the street and there are cute coffee shops, local shops, local dine in areas where you can even eat outside. Wonderful atmosphere overall and what i loved the most is its not an expensive hotel.

Im not a fan of the Black Bear diner so even with the coupons we recieved, our family did not eat there. My family was not a fan of the pillows. They were half the size of a regular pillow and too soft. Ur head just goes right through the bottom

The staff at front desk and in the lounge were all very polite and friendly as well as neatly groomed. Location was super convenient, we were able to walk to our meetings at the capital and restaurants that we booked during our stay.

My coworkers room was nearly 3x the size of my room and the same price!! Her room made my room look like a closet. I did request a quiet room but the hotel was not full, so it seemed unnecessary to put me at the opposite end of the elevator. Also there was wine spilled on the desk table in the room and a dirty wash cloth in the shower, so...there was that.

It was easy to find and welcoming upon entrance. It did not bombard you with the casino vibe as soon as you walk in it was very nice. The staff was fun and personable but maintains an air of professionalism. I will most definitely stay here again!! Oh and the rooms come equipped with a shower chair and stabilizing bars in the restrooms.

The restaurant (Black Bear Diner) food was very disappointing. The wait staff however was fast and accommodating.

The hotel was clean and staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Two employees went out of their way to make sure our stay was a great one. Being connected to a known restaurant, Black Bear diner was a plus as well as connected to a clean friendly and fun casino.

A fitness center (mainly a treadmill or bike) to get some exercise indoors would have been nice though certainly not necessary to enjoy our stay. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was very easy and comfortable to walk around.

It was a nice a quiet Hotel and Casino. Staff were great. Black Bear restaurant is in there, a little pricey. Nice area for you to take a walk. Plenty of parking. Nice weather also.

the crazy girl in the Casino in which they asked her to leave and she proceed to scream outside until the Security Guard came out and then she left the property. Other than that, is was nice and quiet.
