this is a comfort hotel so only expect an 8/10 it is hotel that is needed, excellent location for kennedy airport being only 5 min away, it is in a industrial area which was actually ok for our needs, and we knew this detail, the staff were excellent and food was made for you on request from an menu. we drove into new york, 1 hr each way, there was a bus to the under ground, car parks in new york is very expensive,

we travel world wide using booking . com so check their locations and read the comments on each hotel you use, then there are no suprises, we had no negatives or suprises to report on this hotel

Breakfast was good. Front desk staff on my arrival was amazing and went above and beyond my expectations

JFK is a hot mess with their construction, it took 50mins to be dropped off due to other travelers and the way the van took us to each gate. I would suggest they make sure people know about this, we got to the airport on time but that was only because I wanted to be there 3 hours before an international flight, if we had left at the 2 hour mark we would have been very tight on getting through TSA and to our gate. I know this isn't something the hotel can control per say but I think it would be great if the staff although it appears to be a 5 min drop off, plan for an hour from our hotel to you being at the airport.

My friend and I both had flights out of JFK at different times, and we were meeting at this cozy hotel for a night. We came in at different times, and someone was at the reception and quickly was able to help us. Check in was very easy and the receptionist during the night shift was very kind! There is a shuttle service to the airport, on the hour every hour (5am-11pm). I took the 3pm shuttle, they allowed me to check out at 12 and they have a really nice lounge area I could relax in until my flight. There is tea and coffee there too. The rooms were clean and it’s 5 min away from the airport. If I ever have an overnight layover in jfk again I will be staying here for sure :)

The beds were comfortable and big and they had a good breakfast with lots of different options.

We had to wait 50 minutes for the shuttle at the airport, which at night, after a long overseas flight, was a nuisance, especially since the shuttle from the hotel next door came twice during that time. Also, you have to take the AirTrain to the shuttle pick up, which works well and is free, but takes time. If you don't want to wait or the hustle, take a cab or order an Uber. On the way to the airport everything worked out well.

Overall a good stay, especially for the price during Christmas time. Service was friendly and helpful, breakfast was much better than other continental breakfast options I have experienced in similar hotels. Takes a while to get to Manhattan by public transport but bus & subway were reliable. The airport shuttle offered by the hotel was very convenient!

The bathroom had no option to store bathroom essentials, a little sideboard would have been convenient, but overall solid furnishing.

It's a great place if you are looking for a quick overnight stay and a place to lay your travel weary bod to rest. The beds, bedding, and pillows were very comfortable and the room was clean.The front desk staff was so helpful in getting me a ride from the airport to the hotel after the shuttle service has stopped. My flight had been cancelled, Delta was useless at helping me out with overnight accommodations, it was very late & I was totally wiped out! The woman at the front desk was so kind to me and patient and helped me connect to my driver after some miscommunication who got me safely to the hotel. She went over and beyond and I'm so appreciative of that. Thank you!

The lack of food nearby. If you miss the free breakfast like I did you are totally out of luck! There is nowhere to walk to nor any restaurants nearby. There is a Subway about 4 blocks away and that's it! The location, although close to the airport, is not good or close to any attractions. The sanitation dept is nearby snd although I do realize its value to NYC, it's not a great area for a hotel. Also there was zero soundproofing and I could hear all the street noises like they were inside my room.

I really like the staff member at the reception. He was friendly and helpful. Because we stayed only one night and we arrived very late (after midnight) and had to leave early morning around 5 am, he did not charge us any deposit. Room was clean but small, I didn’t get a chance to sleep in bed as I had to take a shower and repacking before our early morning flight but my partner said bed was comfy. :) Water pressure was good and water was warm even in the middle of the night. Also location is good if you have a flight from JFK. We also used a shuttle bus provided by the hotel.

Rooms are small comparing to other hotels we stayed in America. Also shuttle bus was overpacked and we were like sardines in a can :) no seats available

Very comfortable, Staff were friendly especially the general manager. Free shuttle service between the airport and the hotel. We had take out food and we were able to eat the hotel's dining area. The hotel had a free breakfast that was very well thought out and very good. Enjoyed the beds and the 4 pillows. The hotel was newer and the bathroom facilities were deluxe. the price per night was more reasonable than the other hotels in the area. They also have a day stay so for $80 you could spend 6 hour in a room during the day.

We had to take the sky train to get to the pick up area. This was not a big deal, but it took a little time.

The staff customer service was exceptional. Meghan, the front desk receptionist was amazing. We arrived worn out by travel. She was friendly, went out of her way to be helpful, and her customer service was exceptional. A true asset to the hotel. The shuttle picked us up in a timely manner and the driver was courteous and helpful as well. You go through baggage claim, take the air train to Federal Circle(free) and at Federal Circle you call the hotel and they will pick you up. On the way back the shuttle will drop you at the airport terminal. Nice hot breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, sausage, toast, waffles, fruit, juice, coffee etc. Very close to airport, very clean, comfortable beds, wonderful staff.

Stayed in this hotel as a result of a flight complication so I did not really pay attention to much other than sleeping and waking up early to get to my rebooked Flight. However, the staff was pleasant, efficient and helpful which was much appreciated as we were exhausted and frustrated after hours of travel delays and problems.

Price could have been more reasonable but it’s near the airport a it’s NYC so … we also did wait a long time for the shuttle at the airport.
