Nice property and a great place to see. It was an older hotel so was as prospected. All of the staff were very friendly. It was clean, pleasant, and quiet at night heard nothing on 18th floor. Great room and 2 bathrooms were great. Valet was good, friendly and made is a good option and were there in a timely manor. If we return then we would most likely chose here to stay again.

Only issues were construction on building early am, elevators took good amount of time, and the coach sofa bed was old. Also we had to go down after being placed in hold for a long time when called down. I had asked for someone to bring up sheets so we could use sofa bed, but only brought 3 flat sheets so made do and blanket that was in closet was old and rough. Has my own blanket luckily thought ahead.

Location (close to stadium!!), affordable parking, beautiful lobby, bar, jazz band, dinner at the restaurant, brunch buffet! Room was fairly clean and beds were comfortable. Option on the TV to login to your own Netflix which is nice.

After such a grand entrance to the hotel, the room felt very dated. Bathroom had public restroom vibes, and the shower knob was broken so it took several minutes of fiddling to get the temperature turned to hot. The coffee maker was missing the drawer that you put the coffee in. The hostess at the restaurant was very unhappy to be at work, but the servers were very nice.

It was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly, the room was large. The air stayed on the whole time and never kicked off. The parking garage was attached to the hotel. It was very clean. We had a great view over the city. Fantastic location.

Half of the outlets in the room didn’t work, the plugs would just fall out. I booked a king size bed room a year in advance and they didn’t have any available at check in. The attached parking garage is supposed to be $33 a night and we ended up having to pay 3 nights stay worth when we only stayed 2 nights due to event parking costs and the kiosk company not allowing people to choose if they were staying in the hotel or only for the event. Neither the hotel or the kiosk company would do anything about it. Check in isn’t until 4 and that’s the time event parking charges started.

the hotel is situated in downtown Cincinnati, and it is full of history. The hotel is close and with easy access to all points of tourist interest in downtown. The rooms are comfortable and big enough, with big windows. The hotel has 29 floors, but reaching our room on floor 15 - 6 elevators on disposal was not a problem. Breakfast options were buffet and a la carte. Friday and Saturday we enjoyed the life jazzy music downstairs around the bar corner. The cocktails were also a treat.

In my view, there is nothing to dislike. Someone may consider that the facilities are a bit outdated but if we know in advance that this is a historical building all this may turn to a charming place, full of history which is well maintained nowadays.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The dining service was wonderful, attentive, and welcoming. I loved having 2 full baths.

Our king junior suite was nice, but the sleeper sofa was falsely advertised in description, asethics, and comfort. That worn-out, slouchy, and sagging sofa is in serious need of an upgrade. Only 3 of 6 elevators were working, and neither the front desk, hospitality, or housekeeping answered the phone after 11 pm. The hotel staff seemed over whelmed by the arrival of patrons of the Cincinnati Music Festival.

The staff was super friendly from check in - check out. The property is beautiful. The room was very clean and perfect for an overnight stay. Parking was affordable and easily accessible. Lots of walkable attractions. The bar was a great place to get drinks and appetizers. We booked a king suite with breakfast. We opted for the buffet and it didnt disappoint. Overall a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

Location was good. Lovely Art Deco building. Room was exceptionally clean, which was very nice. Liked the in-room safe.

Initially locating self-parking was confusing. No signage on the street and no assistance from employees outside the Race Street hotel entrance. Getting from and the parking garage to the lobby and vice versa was challenging because of stairs. I was traveling with my 85 year old mother. The elevator to the lobby was out of order. Maneuvering with luggage was a struggle.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff under the circumstances of a huge snowfall two days before. Some of the staff had been there for days, but they were so hospitable. Tanisha , who checked us in, was amazing.

I had expected a place to pull the car into while we checked in, but either we missed that or the snow was covering it up. However, there was a public garage right across the street, so that was convenient.

We did not have hot water the first morning we were there. Maintenance came up promptly and let us in another room to shower. This was very inconvenient as we were getting ready for a show. They came later when we were gone and fixed the problem but they did not clean up the mess. I had to clean the tub myself before showering

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times - I love the old world beauty

the parking garage has changed since my last visit. the instructions in the email I received from the hotel did not explain that I should pre-purchase an overnight pass from the new operators of the parking garage. I incurred extra fees as I didn't understand how the new parking worked.
