We liked that we had a couch to set on when we were at the room of course that was to be expected because we got a room with one. We enjoy the creek running in front of the hotel made for a great view. We enjoyed seeing the geese every morning between 7 and 8 coming from the water to the bank feeding. We think they must have a nest there somewhere and that would be great to see the little ones after they are hatched.We enjoyed the size of the room and the table and chairs great to have when we needed them.They one gentlemen with the staff that attended to the breakfast and I think he also worked the front desk as well. This guy was always friendly and spoke or waved every time you seen him.

Most of the staff was not friendly. The lady that checked us in was not friendly she seemed to hate her job and you could tell.The room had a stain in the floor in front of the air conditioners. The shower head needs to be replaced be cause it shot water out the top and was hitting the ceiling in the bathroom. You have heard of no hot water before but this room had no cold water if you were not careful you could burn yourself Because the water was so hot. When the staff cleaned during the day Ido not they they cleaned the floors the seems dirty the entire time we were there.

This property has great rooms. Great price Good location. The staff was friendly decent customer service. Breakfast is pretty good. Would recommend it!

During our stay a pipe burst so we were without water for a little bit nothing was done to accommodate the inconvenience but staff handle it and water was restored within an hour

Very clean, quiet, and in a great spot if you just want to go more for the hiking and a little bit of the tourists spots. The room was very spacious. We also got to watch wildlife in the river, so the view was great.

The bathroom sink did take a while to warm up but that was the only complaint if I had to find something.

Loved the large room size of the King Suite. Felt more like a small apartment. Loved the large balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast was decent. Coffee was good. Everything was clean. Loved that this size room has two air conditioning units. It stayed very cool even through very hot days. This was a good value.

Air units had a slight indoor leak that is leaking into the carpet (Room 310). I'm pretty sure that the staff are aware because when we arrived in.the middle of an extremely hot July day, they had the heaters on in our room and set to 75 as if they werw trying to dry out the carpet. This could cause a very serious mold problem. Best to get it fixed instead of covering it up. There is a very mild undercurrent scent of mildew in.thw room due to this issue. It didn't detract from our stay but will get worse over time. I only mention it in hopes the hotel will get on this issue fast. The shower door in 310 was installed unevenly, which causes the sliding glass doors to not stay shut. Easy fix and is just annoying. Bed is a bit firmer than id personally like.

Everything was exceptional! We went last year and HYLTON remembered me the moment he saw us. The breakfast has great selection, staff friendly and helpful, rooms big, beds comfortable, river view with balcony makes for an relaxing get away and you cant beat the price and location. A quick walk to the free trolley system too. But let me tell you about HYLTON! This man is awesome ....he's friendly and welcoming, great with kids and makes you feel like your home and with family! He honestly the reason we came back to this hotel again this year and plan on coming back again next year. If management is reading this GIVE HYLTON A RAISE!!!

The comfortable bed, TV had many channels, private balcony, big bathroom and shower had lots of pressure and hot water, breakfast was amazing with eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, muffins, cereal, yogurt, orange juice!

The property was in a perfect location to be able to walk to the Trolly’s. The property on the outside was great. Now to the room, the room was freezing cold when we arrived so it would be nice to come into a warm room when it’s 20’s and below outside. There were two ac/heat units in the room but only one worked. We were a little concerned the one heater wouldn’t heat up the room but it eventually did. There were some horrible spots on the walks where you could tell it got wet and started peeling the paint and drywall off. The room was awesome and clean otherwise. Plenty of space but I wish if it’s called a suite that there is some sort of small kitchen in the room. The staff were very nice and accommodating too.

Some areas of the room had water damage on the walls which can and will grow mold over time. Please considering turning on the heat in the rooms when it’s below 30 and you have customers coming in to that room.

Convenient location, good price, clean hotel

I was double charged at check in they said they couldn’t do nothing until I left the following day to stay and it would come back on my card. I called my capital one and they said they couldn’t do nothing about it till after it was 50 days so that was the problem I had other than that it everything was good, but I’m fixing to check out this morning and we’re gonna see how this goes Capital One and advise me to tell them to stop the authorization on one of the charge and they didn’t know how and they said they would have to do it when we checked out

We were very impressed with how clean the rooms were kept. The complimentary breakfast was really good and had several options to choose from for anyone with picky kids! The views of the river and mountains were beautiful too. Walking distance to the main strip. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Gatlinburg close to everything and on a budget! Management was amazing as well!

The only downfall to the rooms were that there were stand up showers. It was a little difficult to give the little kids baths without getting water everywhere. But having the sliding glass doors helped. Which isn't a deal breaker.

This was a first. The location. In the heart of the Smoky Mountains!! 300 yards from a creekside trail walk for miles… food. Everywhere. Grand selections. Breakfasts around here are a religious experience. Hotel does have a nice spread if u dont want to walk and find a place to chow..People are so so nice here. The views right iutside the window and every balcony… bliss. The sound of the river. I slept on the balcony first night. Soothing. Perfect. Clean clean clean. And nature gave us a show .. black bears own Gatlinburg. We r in the smoky mountains people. Dont leave food in ur car. Do not. Doesnt matter where u r. Respect the critters and area. They know. Best value and general my favorite hotel Ive stayed at in years. And i am the avid traveller… best value period. No doubt at all.
