I really liked the location. It is located away from the main thoroughfare but it is still close enough to allow for walking to most of the attractions of Gatlinburg. There was no worry about pulling out into traffic or watching for pedestrians when entering or exiting the parking lot because there was very little traffic through the area.

the bed was comfortable and the facility was very clean. the staff was very helpful and courteous. the view from the balcony was great, the river was clean where you could see the fish. Within walking distance to uptown close to restaurants. the kitchen and breakfast area were clean and orderly.

there were no lounge chairs in the room, the door to the room looked like it had been pried open at some point.

It is close to the strip but not located on the strip. Free breakfast is serve everyday(waffles,bagels,bread,boiled.eggs,Jimmy Dean biscuit w/sausage,yogurt and cereal). Get fresh towels everyday. We love the river view at the balcony at the back.

I wish that those rocks in front room is remove and replace it with a grass or something else. When cars are park and have to walk across the rocks to get to the room because the walk path is blocked with car parked. In my case my husband has MS and walking on the rocks is a challenge. Also, we stayed 6 days and 5 nights, I noticed the housekeeping carts do not have a wet mop/steam mop to mop the floors when guest check out. All they have is broom. It is not sanitary to just sweep the floor especially if the floor is vinyl. Hope they change that cleaning practice.

Loved being by the river. Was very peaceful. Loved the geese that came by every morning and afternoon. Parking was good. It was off the strip but close enough to walk wherever you wanted to. Housekeeping kept us full with towels and toilet paper. Didn't even have to ask for it. Most places you have to beg for it. It was overall a good stay. Just needs a little touch up here and there. Bed was pretty comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was great.

It took about a day for the room to get as cool as we wanted it. The bathroom was a little tight but we survived. Just needs some touch ups but that wouldn't keep us from staying again.

Breakfast was decent, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful. There a couple restaurants right by and a general store which was convenient. We really enjoyed the pool.

The room could’ve been cleaner. It looked like someone went through quickly and cleaned it instead of cleaning it properly. The caulk around the tub had mildew, the room was dusty, and the outside of the fridge was dirty with splatters of something. Also found what appeared to be chewed up, dry gum under the nightstand. A/C was extremely loud and rattled. All that being said, I knew it was not a 5 star hotel and did not have extremely high expectations. It was fine for a few nights.

We were so pleased with our stay. Our room was the cleanest room I've ever had in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The staff was amazing, especially Lauren, who checked us in and spent so much time and went above and beyond to fully answer all our questions. We appreciated all her recommendations and her knowledge of the area. Breakfast was amazing. Parking was simple and easy. Checking in and out was super fast. We found our home away from home. We are returning in June with my mother, we had such an amazing stay. We won't consider staying anywhere else. If you haven't stayed here...it's a must!!!!

We loved how absolutely clean the room was. The bathroom was immaculate. The bed was like quicksand, it's amazing. The mattress was fantastic, especially for me because I have back problems. I loved that there were no stairs to walk up!!! That's a big plus for us. We are returning next month with my elderly mother because I won't have to worry about her with the stairs. The view of the river was absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing. You are a 2-minute walk from being in all the activities and restaurants.

Friendly staff. Location is good. Clean , it’s just an older building.

Needs updated but it’s still a good place to stay.

Need more space

I loved everything about this property. We have never stayed here before and didn’t know about this place even though we’ve been coming to Gatlinburg for over 25 years. I’m glad that we happened upon it because we will definitely be staying here again. I loved the location because it was off the beaten path. It was quiet and very peaceful. Our room was extremely clean…it had just been mopped before we came in because the floor was still wet. It was a large room with a comfortable bed, a large chair and ottoman, a desk and rolling chair and a refrigerator and microwave. We also had a balcony with two chairs and a table that overlooked the river. The bathroom was clean and had a lit mirror and a spacious shower. For the price it was well worth it!

My family and I stayed in Econo Lodge for 5 nights. The staff is very friendly, the location and parking are excellent (especially having in mind that the parking in town is very expensive). The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. We would recommend it to other families with children because it is in a quiet location, and the downtown is reachable within 5 min walk. Hikers will also like it because it is very close to the Great Smoky Mountains NP.
