We loved the convenient location. We had a ground floor room that was perfect for ease of taking our pet out for potty breaks and for unpacking and packing the car (right outside the door). The room was clean. It was large and airy. The king bed was the most comfortable we’ve experienced in ANY hotel! The A/C was nice and cold. Lots of TV channels. Microwave and fridge were great amenities!

Not to nit-pick but we were told our room had a walk in shower (it didn’t) In fact, it was a bathtub with no safety grab bars at all ! My husband recently had hip replacement and the tub was a challenge for us both. Also, once committed to taking a shower, we find only 1 pump of shampoo from the wall dispenser… no conditioner and no bath soap.

The location was excellent—just a short walk to the main road and main restaurants, which was especially convenient during the busy long weekend when traffic and parking were a hassle. The room was spacious and quiet, and I appreciated the practical layout, especially the toilet with a separate sink area, which made things more flexible.

The "grab and go" breakfast was underwhelming, and the bed had a U-shaped mattress that is fairly common in many hotels so wasn't the most comfortable. I also had to move the TV stand to reach a floor lamp switch, and unfortunately, it was quite dusty behind it.

Reasonably priced property just off the strip in downtown Gatlinburg. Quick shortcut thru a parking garage next door and you’re right on the main strip. Rooms feel newly updated. Beds and pillows very comfortable. If you have a ground floor room, you can back up right to your room to unload. All rooms have a small patio or balcony area to get outside, limited views though (parking lot/pool areas). Sink area both inside and outside of bathroom. Fridge and micro provided.

Overall quiet although ac unit cycled on and off so a travel fan was helpful to create a more consistent background sound.

The location of the hotel was awesome since it was only a few short blocks from the National Park entrance. It was also off the main street so noise wasn't an issue. Also very comfortable beds.

When we walked into our room, we could tell that the hotel tried to update the place with nice fixtures and newer beds. What they didn't do was fix the obvious stuff like a replacement of a light in the bathroom or fix the slope and broken counter of the kitchen sink or the constant toilet that ran every 2 minutes. My wife and I aren't usually that picky. " place to sleep and a roof over our heads". But, what we got charged for the stay and what we got for our stay was a bit much. It would have been good for 1/2 the price.

Location is great. Not much parking so arrive early if you want a spot. Beds comfortable and decor was nice. Balcony was a nice addition.

Bears roam the property often. Bathrooms were tiny. Not enough towels provided ahead of time for our entire group or even for the number of beds they had in the room. Upon check in we had 4 towels or two in each bathroom. The front desk provided more but were a little reluctant to do so because I didn’t fill out the request card ahead of time. It’s hard to plan when you are traveling with a group and also kids.

Love it’s location. Within walking distance of attractions, yet not right on the main road. Also, like the fact that housekeeping isn’t knocking on your door every day, you just request what you need, come back and it’s there!

Love that it’s dog friendly, however, the fact that you have to put down a $250 deposit, and then pay $40 a night per pet seems a little excessive! I realize that you get that deposit back, but for people who are on a fixed income and save all year to make the trip, cuts into the spending money!

Location. Parking. Charm. I have stayed here multiple times before. I’ll be back. They have fireplaces! Location is really nice your in the heart of it all but it dosent feel like it. Good fair price for length of stay! The views from the hotel are amazing. Front and back

For a “boutique Hotel” it does show some age in areas. (Obviously an older hotel) but Some that may be concerning. (The our door steps on the back side have large cracks in the concrete) their are other stairs to use that looked safer on property I noticed some of the walk way lights were out and notified them (no big deal, late night walk thoughts would help with preventing this) there was a very large section out. (6 lights in total) (they fixed this immediately)

We’ve always loved staying at RiverEdge Inn! The rooms are beautiful and comfy. We love being able to just order more towels, face clothes, coffee etc when we need them. Love the fact that no one comes in the room until we leave. The location is perfect! We can walk to everything but don’t have to deal with getting in and out if we do decide to drive somewhere! Love just chilling out on the porch sipping moonshine. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the Smokies!

Location was great. We were right off of the strip and was able to walk everywhere. We stayed in 2 rooms while we were there (decided to stay an extra night and the room we were in was not available). Both very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying there again.

We paid more on booking.com than if we would have booked our first room with the hotel directly. The manager stated that they can often give better rates and deals if you call them directly to book your room. We will definitely do that next time.

Arrived about 45 minutes early. We were allowed to get our parking pass and park so we could go ahead and start our time in the town since we were in walking distance of everything downtown. I thought that was nice since everywhere in Gatlinburg is like $20/day parking. The room when we checked in was clean & comfy. We did not experience the "grab n go" breakfast. I have stayed in Gatlinburg many times and would definitely stay here again!

Only negative was after the long car ride and finally arriving the lobby did not have a bathroom so I was told to use the hotel next door's lobby bathroom since our room was not "ready".
